According to the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), I am an ISTJ personality this means that I am an Introvert, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging person. ISTJ are very faithful, loyal and dependable. We are also reserved people who are interested in a secure and quiet life. ISTJ’s place importance in being honesty and can be trusted to do the right thing for their families and friends. There are some weaknesses to being an ISTJ personality we are stubborn, insensitive, and judgmental. This test is amazing it really nailed my personality.

One particular element I read when reading about the results of this indicator test was the ESFJ personality types works hard, see problems clearly and expects others to do the same. In nursing not everyone has the same personality and it is difficult for me when other nurses don’t have the same enthusiasm or flare to get tasks done. Also my personality demands structure and organization, not all personalities feel the same way. To improve my team performance, I need to remind myself to be respectful to other personalities, by not getting frustrated with others not performing the way I do. They just have different personalities.

The results of these tests told me a lot about myself. I found that I am an ESFJ: Extrovert, Sensor, Feeler, and Judger. I like to work with people and tangible things, and try to understand others, and make decisions and complete my responsibilities. My top intelligences are musical and linguistic, which means I have a good memory for words, music, and patterns.

After answering multiple questions for different situations I was able to obtain information about my personality. ENFJ is a very unique and has various skill sets that will allow me as individual to work in multiple roles. Occupations with good interpersonal skills that allow productive collaboration through any working process. Although this personality can be challenging it still has many benefits to help build careers successfully. There are many high rank positions that this particular personality type would be effective in. Some examples are sales, social services, community care, legal and the list goes on. In all of these roles there are a broad range of occupations that would fit perfectly based on the personality type. However, the ultimate focus is to reach their main dreams. Although they may see their selves as helpers or enablers, this creates the challenge.

Based on the personality type exam, it reported me as an ESTJ, meaning I am 53% extroverted, 87% sensor, 67% thinker, and 87% judger. It is said that ESTJ are representatives of tradition and order, and often take the rolls of leadership. The ESTJ personality is often associated with strengths of dedication, strong will, honesty, loyalty, patience, reliable, organized. However, ESTJ also have weaknesses such as, stubbornness, judgmental, difficulty relaxing, and difficulty in expressing emotion.

Never taking one of these test left me very skeptical, but after finding information on it brought to my attention that most of the information does fit my personality. Every personality shows a lot about the type of person you are like your strengths and weaknesses. I believe this class will give me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge on how to grow as a better individual after learning more about myself.

The type of personality which was generated from this Jung Typology personality test identified me as being and ISFJ. It showed that I am an ISFJ Introvert (22%) Sensing (3%) Feeling (9%) Judging (56%). This assessment in looking at the results is a fairly accurate assessment of my personality.
