Johnny Manziel wins the highest honor in college football, the Heisman as a freshman, the very first freshman to do so. The quarterback from Texas A&M was the second Heisman winner from Texas A&M, first since John David Crow in 1957. Manziel won the award in the year of 2013, his stats were unbelievable, he accumulated: 3,419 passing yards, 1,181 rushing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and 19 rushing. The ballot was not even close, Johnny Manziel gathered 474 First Place votes and the runner up Manti Tèo only had 321 first place First Place votes. Although of a great year Manziel did not leave to go to the NFL draft and went on to play one more year at Texas

What it takes to be number one by Vince Lombardi, the speaker talks about winning and losing. The speech was given in 1967 in the locker room to his teammate before the super bowl in L.A California. As an American football player, coach, and executive in the National Football League. He also won the first two Super Bowls following the 1966 and 1967. Also, he best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s. Throughout the speech Lombardi applies different rhetorical strategies as metaphor, appeals, allusion, diction, understatement, etc., arguing the winning is everything but you also you can’t win if you didn’t lose, his purpose motivate his team to win and the time but eventually his speech became and motivational address to the American people, and to everyone who reads it.
What is supposed to be one of the most prestigious honors in all of sports has become a joke in the NFL. Calling the Pro Bowl the NFL’s All-Star game is an insult to All-Star games. It is a sham.
I am a football fan. My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. In my house a couple of weeks ago tension ran high. Why? Well, because my husband is a Cowboys fan and the Packers took them out of the running for the super bowl. Now, this past Sunday my husband was super happy to watch the Falcons beat the Packers, as for me I was devastated. This year the packers started off pretty week. They had a lot of people on the injury list. To see them come back and get as far as they did, I was a proud fan. Some may want to know if I am going to watch the super bowl, since my team is out. Of course I am! It would be un-American not to watch, but at the same time I really just want to see the Falcons lose since they beat the Packers. Let’s talk super

During this ceremony, Mr. Mason focused mainly on road to success at the University of the District of Columbia and the journey to 2020 switching it to winning in 2020. Strong leadership and a guided pathway sums up his idea of greatness as the new president of UDC, along with 10 major things that needs to be accomplished within the 5 year journey a few of them being; reaffirmation, title IV and a union contract. While speaking, Mr. Ronald Mason inserted a very positive quote from President Barack Obama “We did not come to fear the future. We came here to shape it.” He also represented an image of the founding fathers counting them as being encouraged, wealthy and men as justice is self-preservation. In addition to discussing how he want
Some of the best college athletes who didn’t pan out recieve hate for not being good enough. Johnny Manziel was once praised as one of the greatest college players in the history of college football. He was the first freshman to ever win the heisman award as the most outstanding player in college football. He was praised for his on field talents but was always troubled off the field. In 2013, “Manziel will serve a half-game suspension in Texas A&M's season opener against Rice on August 31 for inadvertent violation regarding the signing of certain autographs” (Martin).
Johnny Manziel is slowly showing improvements, however, the former Heisman Trophy awardee is discovering his way in his 2nd year with the Cleveland Browns.
There once was a man named Johnny Manziel, everyone took time out of their day to watch Johnny play. Johnny was the best football player to have ever played. No one has ever gotten close to being better than the one and only Johnny Manziel. Johnny played any position with ease, he was the most successful playing quarterback. Not only did he play football he also played baseball. With every swing of the bat came a homerun. Johnny averages 10,000 yards a season, Johnny showed no signs of slowing down until one day Johnny injured himself on the field.
The night was packed with many surprises, but only one girl walked away with the crown and sash at the 9th Miss Blythe Outstanding Teen Pageant on Saturday, March 4.
I personally could care less about that story. But now that John Tortorella has thrown his hat into the mix, now my interest is peaked.
Here's my 25 cents on kaepernick..... if you weren't born with this natural God made beautiful BROWN skin, or experienced the black struggle first hand, then I suggest you STFU on what it feels like to live in a country that was built on your ancestors backs, and treated like shit when you try to stand up for the same rights you were "taught" you had but apparently don't. Mmmmkay?
I hope that my speech has shed some light on the bulldog breed. Their history, unique features, and random facts, and I wish that you have all learnt something new about them today. Thankyou for you're time."
David is merely an accountant. He sits day after day surrounded by walls punching in numbers. He hardly even knows what he is doing, if you’re going to live your life by the calculator, at least be good at what you do right?
Fallon is one of my favorites because his show is always fun. He hangs out
