Johnny Manziel Persuasive Speech

Hi my name is Leonard Theodor Sasseen I was apart of a famous Wild West show known as the Buffalo Bills. I am know for doing various tricks on stunt horses We traveled across the world doing tricks for many people. We started the show in May 19 1883 in Omaha Nebraska. So today I am going to tell you how the buffalo bills became famous.

What it takes to be number one by Vince Lombardi, the speaker talks about winning and losing. The speech was given in 1967 in the locker room to his teammate before the super bowl in L.A California. Also, he best known as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers during the 1960s. Throughout the speech Lombardi applies different rhetorical strategies as metaphor,appeals, allusion, diction, understatement, etc., arguing the winning is everything but you also you can’t win if you didn’t lose, his purpose motivate his team to win and the time but eventually his speech became and motivational address to the American people, and to everyone who reads it.

What is supposed to be one of the most prestigious honors in all of sports has become a joke in the NFL. Calling the Pro Bowl the NFL’s All-Star game is an insult to All-Star games. It is a sham.

I am a football fan. My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. In my house a couple of weeks ago tension ran high. Why? Well, because my husband is a Cowboys fan and the Packers took them out of the running for the super bowl. Now, this past Sunday my husband was super happy to watch the Falcons beat the Packers, as for me I was devastated. This year the packers started off pretty week. They had a lot of people on the injury list. To see them come back and get as far as they did, I was a proud fan. Some may want to know if I am going to watch the super bowl, since my team is out. Of course I am! It would be un-American not to watch, but at the same time I really just want to see the Falcons lose since they beat the Packers. Let’s talk super

Tebow finished first in the Heisman voting with 462 1st place votes, 229 2nd place votes, 113 3rd place votes which rounds out to a total of 1957 points to beat out Darren McFadden, whom had 1703 total points. Some of the best college athletes who didn’t pan out recieve hate for not being good enough. Johnny Manziel was once praised as one of the greatest college players in the history of college football. He was the first freshman to ever win the heisman award as the most outstanding player in college football. He was praised for his on field talents but was always troubled off the field. In 2013, “Manziel will serve a half-game suspension in Texas A&M's season opener against Rice on August 31 for inadvertent violation regarding the signing of certain autographs” (Martin).

Johnny Manziel is slowly showing improvements, however, the former Heisman Trophy awardee is discovering his way in his 2nd year with the Cleveland Browns.

There once was a man named Johnny Manziel, everyone took time out of their day to watch Johnny play. Johnny was the best football player to have ever played. No one has ever gotten close to being better than the one and only Johnny Manziel. Johnny played any position with ease, he was the most successful playing quarterback. Not only did he play football he also played baseball. With every swing of the bat came a homerun. Johnny averages 10,000 yards a season, Johnny showed no signs of slowing down until one day Johnny injured himself on the field.

The night was packed with many surprises, but only one girl walked away with the crown and sash at the 9th Miss Blythe Outstanding Teen Pageant on Saturday, March 4.

I personally could care less about that story. But now that John Tortorella has thrown his hat into the mix, now my interest is peaked.

Here's my 25 cents on kaepernick..... if you weren't born with this natural God made beautiful BROWN skin, or experienced the black struggle first hand, then I suggest you STFU on what it feels like to live in a country that was built on your ancestors backs, and treated like shit when you try to stand up for the same rights you were "taught" you had but apparently don't.
