Even though some of the rituals might seem like they are completely different, when you look deeply and find the true meaning, you will see that most of the time they share the same message. But even with all of these similarities its the differences that make them unique and these differences are what splits them apart. The three main similarities in both Christianity and Judaism is the first step into adult hood, the last step into adult hood and the Shabbat and the Sabbath.

Both religions celebrate holy days which are mentioned in their scriptures and are celebrated all around the world.

These two religions break up into different sects. Both religions have three main sects that are more practiced than others, however, there a great deal more. Judaism’s three main sects are Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform (Brodd, 380).

Compare & Contrast Judaism & Christianity Judaism and Christianity are alike in many different ways. Judaism and Christianity are similar in ways like both have use holy books and they both use a house to worship in. They also have two different profits in common which are Mosses and Abraham. Each Judaism and Christianity have days that they go to their house of worship. Judaism was founded before Christ, which makes Christians different because they were founded after Christ.

A similarity for both of these religions is that they both believe there is one god. However, when it comes to differences, there are many different beliefs in these religions that are not the same. For starters, Islam believes that Allah is their only god, but Judaism believes that the only god is God himself. Although both religions believe that there is one god, they do not believe in the same god. The next difference is that Islams believe in the 5 Pillars of Faith, which are the rules that every practicing Islam has to follow.

There are hundreds or even thousands different religions allover the world, but only several of them are global. Two of them, Christioanity and Judaism, have its believers on each continent, and during its history experienced persecutions from others. Despite, there are a lot of differences between these religions, Christianity and Judaism are similar. Both Christianity and Judaism are monotheistic. It means that believers of these religions believe in one God who is a creator of the world.
