James Brown was born on May 3rd, 1933 and grew up in the South in poverty. In the documentary Mr. Dynamite dicsuessed the great singer, songwriter, and dancer known as James Brown. James Brown died in December 25, 2006 in Atlanta Georgia and had accomplished much with his high energy lifestyle serving as a role model, Civil Rights activist, and musician. James Brown's life started out as him being a young boy who grew up in poverty in the South which a big connection to many of the musicians discussed in Jazz Century. As many African American musicians started poor and grew up to become famous, James Brown was one of them.

John Brown was a revolutionary abolitionist who felt very strongly about ending slavery. He was born in 1800 and died in 1859. His birthplace was Torrington, Connecticut. He belonged to a very loving family with very strong anti-slavery beliefs. He tied the knot twice and brought forth 20 children from those unions.

In 1859 John Brown finally felt that the time was right for the slaves in this country to rise up against the slave owners. He felt that slavery could only be removed by violence (John Brown, Harpers..., 2012) and was quoted as saying, “I, John Brown, am now quite certain that the crimes of this guilty land will never be purged away but with blood” . On October 16, 1859, John Brown led a raid on the federal armory at Harpers Ferry. His goal was to start a slave uprising and grab guns and weapons at the armory. On that night twenty two men, led by John Brown, took control of the arsonal. He was born on October, 25, 1866 in Van Buren, Arkansas, and was married to the cousin of another famous old west outlaw, John Wesley Hardin. And at the age of one, he moved with his parents to Franklin, Texas. However, just a few years after the move, both of Miller’s parents died, and he was sent to Evant to live with his grandparents. At the age of eight, Miller was again orphaned after both of his grandparents were found murdered in their home. After this I was big in reading I studied a lot about slavery and started a passion for hating it. After this I moved to Missouri and married Marry Brown. After that it's hard to remember all of them but I had over ten children in my lifetime.

Adam Brown was a man who despite of wasting time in his life using drugs, being a bad person because he was not thinking about his family feelings when they were trying to help him to get over his addictions, he could achieve his American Dream and become a better person. The first American Dream Adam achieved was raising a family, Kelley and him were very happy together and she believed in him when he was still using drugs and making bad choices. “You have so much more to offer than this, Adam Brown” (Blehm 87). The events during Chris Kyle’s first tour were mostly inaccurate. In the movie, during Chris Kyle’s Navy Seal training, Chris was drinking at a bar where he met his girlfriend and future wife Taya (Eastwood). In reality Chris met Taya in a bar while he was in Navy training (Duckworth). In the movie Chris Kyle and his girlfriend Taya were married and Chris was deployed in the same day (Eastwood). In real life, Chris Kyle and Taya get married because Chris was going to be deployed soon (Chris Kyle American Sniper). In the movie Kyle’s first tour was in 2003 in Fallujah where his first kill as a sniper happened on a little boy and then his mother (Eastwood). In reality Chris only killed the women which was still his first kill as Chris said he would never killed children (The American Sniper). In the movie, throughout the tours Kyle’s main enemy seems to be an enemy sniper by the name of Mustafa. Mustafa is a sniper who kills some of Kyle’s friends and is a constant enemy of Kyle’s squadron. In Chris Kyle’s autobiography, he talks about an enemy sniper by the name of Mustafa but says he never met with Mustafa himself. Mustafa in this movie was put there to be the main villain and does not have any other purpose. Mustafa never met with Kyle himself (The American Sniper). The

In life there are heroes and villains, in most stories told throughout time the hero is the savior, the person who protects the people from the bad guy: the villain. Villains are the guys who do the most dastardly deeds, the ones who don't care who gets hurt in the crossfire of their actions. There is however, a fine line between being a hero and being a villain. Chris Kyle is one of those people who arguably crossed the line between being a hero and villain to both the American and Iraqi people. Many people would say Chris Kyle is the ultimate American hero, and others would say that he was used by corporate military leaders to do the deeds no one else could, that he was simply a machine. In America he was claimed to be a hero, while insurgents in Iraq called him the "Devil of Ramadi" earning him a bounty on his head ("Chris Kyle American Sniper").
