Kindergarten Teacher Being a kindergarten teacher is a career I am interested in for my future. “Kindergarten and elementary school teachers prepare younger students for future schooling by teaching them basic subjects such as math and reading” (Occupational Outlook Handbook). I will have to teach small children how to do basic and essential things like, reading, writing, and math. I think I would match this career well, because I like being around young children. I also help my friends with their work so I figure I would be good at teaching. Some tasks that may be performed in this job are helping young children to learn essential things needed for everyday life. This career would work well with my work behavior style because, dominance likes to be in charge and are very focused on accomplishing goals. When being a teacher they are in charge of 18-20 kids in a classroom. Also teachers have to be focused on getting children to learn, so they might set goals to help them to help the student. Other tasks teachers perform would be, planning lessons, assessing students on their abilities, and prepare students for standardized tests. The job environment of a teacher would be a classroom, in a school. I think I would be happy in this environment because it would be happy and cheerful. Well, my physical setting that I desire somewhat matches this environment. I said that I wanted to work in a busy city and I wanted it to be pleasing to the eye. So, depending the school it for
You might ask, “Why would you even want to be a teacher?” Well, I surveyed a current teacher and was genuinely pleased with the responses that I received. I asked her what the main reason was on why she chose to pursue teaching, and she responded that she likes being a role
My career path to education is one that has evolved over the years. Growing up I always know I wanted to work with children. Within my undergrad experience become a teacher seem to feel like it was where I belong. Being in the position of starting my path as a special education teacher for mild to moderate, I can see how my role as an educator can have an impact on students’ lives.
The career that I am going to research is teaching at the middle school level. Teachers educate students, they inspire students, they learn from the students, and they change the way they teach, to better help the children learn, as well as change the way the children learn and think.
First, I have a passion to teach younger students and help shape their early development. I think that children are highly impressionable in their earlier years and I want to play a role in their early development.

Some of the main duties include establishing and enforcing rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students, preparing materials for activities, establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students. Education is a crucial tool in developing the skills needed to go throughout life. From the time we are born, we are constantly learning. Our parents try to teach us words, shapes and colors, but our true education starts in kindergarten. At this time we are learning many things that we will use for the rest of our lives. These essential skills that we learn in the early years of our education are what help us to excel in the future. The basic knowledge of certain topics can easily be expanded upon. What we learn throughout our elementary education becomes the building blocks for our future. The people that are responsible for this imperative type of learning are elementary school teachers. Deciding a future for myself is becoming a pressing matter, and the career that I can see myself enjoying most is an elementary school teacher. I was intrigued by the tasks completed by elementary school teachers, and the value they have for the future. Without them, our future generations may not have the best education that they
I am currently a Kindergarten teacher at Our Lady of Trust Academy. Although it is a wonderful private institution, my goal is to teach at a public school. I have chosen this career path because I am passionate about working with children, while they are developing their foundational skills. I believe that by receiving a high quality education; that goes beyond remembering and understanding, students can master the core material through analyzing and creating. This will give learners a strong base to build upon, setting students on the path to be successful in high school, and go on to be career and
With all that being said what intrigues me most about this career is the fact that I will be getting a chance to teach children new things and see their faces light up when they understand the curriculum and see those light bulbs go off that they can do anything they put their mind to.
1. Futuristic: My number one strength is futuristic. I always like to discuss what my future will be. I always get questions like “Are you sure it is going to happen that way?” or a statement like “You are awfully young to think of something so far away?” My goal in life is to become manager (Administrative-nonlicensed role) in the school district that I grew up in. Currently I am employed as an assistant preschool teacher in that very district (Osseo Area Schools). I think this a great way to get my foot in the door. I tell my current co-workers what I want to do with my life and they say it is a great idea since my major is in Business Administration. Also, because I already work for the same district and getting to know the staff and students that go there every day.

The career that interests me is a kindergarten and elementary school teacher. In the Nebraska Career education model, this career is under Human Services and Education, which is a match with my NCC assessment results. At this level of education you teach them the basic subjects, such as reading and mathematics. In addition to the basics you will also help them learn social skills, such as sharing and communicating with others. Although children at this age are at the beginning stages of learning, their enthusiasm and energy levels are high, so it is very important to create stimulating lesson plans to keep them focused. Each lesson plan must include several areas in order to complete the standards required by the state in which you are working in.
I think since I would always talk to my teachers in grade school they would give me advise and I want to help kids educationally wise but also help guide them in life. Being a teacher will allow me to be social with kids but with adults too. A teacher has control of their classroom and does not have to depend on anyone else to teach and since I like to have control of things and do not have to really rely on someone takes that some stress of me. Mainly I would like to be a teacher because some of the teachers I had in the past help me get on the right path and really helped me and guided me to do better and I would like to do that for other
I choose to be a middle school teacher. What I like about teaching is I can help kids and help them learn how to kinda mature. I also always had a passion for teaching.
For me a school is a fortress, it is a building where a small child feels safe and protected by a great army that he calls teachers, the first years of school are the most important for children since teachers can positively influence their students. The satisfaction of a teacher is not monetary reward is the satisfaction of helping a child to succeed. This same satisfaction is the one that for some years I have received as a volunteer teacher in the Sunday school of my church, it was then that I decided to become a teacher
