Altering what he thinks is right or wrong and helping him with the murder are reasons why Lady Macbeth is responsible for the demise of Duncan. Macbeth, at first does not want to kill his kinsman, his king who is here in double trust (Act 1 Scene 7 Lines 13), it is simply unnatural to do so, yet so is the woman in 1606 Scotland altering the decision of a Thane. Lady Macbeth, has eagerly done her part of making the guests drunk (Act 1 Scene 7 Line 35), and is in desperation for the murder to occur.
As a result of his ambition, Macbeth's ambition caused him to be easily influenced. Everyone wants to know how's Macbeth's ambition caused him to be easily influenced ? Macbeth's ambition caused him to be influenced because of Lady Macbeth and the three witches. According to Act I, Scene V Lady Macbeth fears that her husband is to kind and polite that her husband is being too soft to seize the throne. She's saying that she wants it more than he does. She wants Macbeth to be more aggressive and she also wants to be known. Lady Macbeth wanted to change his humor and tone to influence him to be King of Cawdor. In spite of Lady Macbeth's intentions to influence Macbeth, the three witches wanted to change Macbeth's point of view that he won't be king forever.
But despite Macbeth’s desire to take the throne, he does not want to kill Duncan. What pushes Macbeth over the edge is Lady Macbeth. She tells Macbeth to follow his ambitions and kill Duncan. She says that murdering Duncan is not a sin, and that it is all worth it for the crown. These words from Lady Macbeth’s mouth are what made Macbeth decide to follow through and commit murder. “I am settled and bend up each corporal agent to this terrible feat.” (1.7.92-93). Macbeth will do the act, but he is very reluctant to do so. In conclusion, Macbeth’s ambitions and his loyalty towards Lady Macbeth are huge factors for why Macbeth was torn, and why he decided to kill Duncan.
In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare we see the character of Lady Macbeth and her relationship with Macbeth as destructive as she supports his bad ambitions to fulfill the witches prophecy as soon as possible. At the beginning of the play, Macbeth is a brave soldier, but because his ambitions get out of hand, he kills King Duncan so that he can become the King. Ambitions make people try hard to achieve any of their goals and it will make people do the things that they never done before. In the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and King Duncan meet their untimely end because they are tricked by believing what they want to see and hear. Macbeth is deceived by the prophecies given by the three witches, Lady Macbeth meets her tragic end by misleading herself and believing in other people’s fake appearances gets King Duncan into trouble. First of all, Macbeth is misled by what appears to be real which is the main cause of his tragic death.
The supernatural is one of the most mysterious cases today that no one for sure knows is real. The play 'Macbeth' is basically about a battle between good and evil where the witches represent evil or supernatural. At the time that Shakespeare wrote the play (between 1603 and 1606), there was much curiosity in the supernatural and this play would have interested the audience at the time. The supernatural and evil themes of the play are major part of the play, and are the main reason Macbeth did certain actions. The witches are used to represent evil and the supernatural in the play and create mystery in the play. They also create an element of fear to help excite the curiosity of the audience.
After the witches told MacBeth his prophecies, he felt a wave of guilt. As if he’d thought of murdering Duncan to be kind before. Later on in the story, MacBeth would be the one to kill Duncan, making him the main culprit. Yet, the real reason for Duncan's murder was when MacBeth involved Lady Macbeth into this situation. The reason is because MacBeth has felt guilty about this from the very beginning. He’s always felt guilty about murdering anyone on the battlefield, but once it came to murdering his cousin, he just couldn’t have done it without Lady MacBeth’s convincing.
