Students often learn how to budget their time in order to complete important tasks and still have time for themselves. Explain how learning to budget time is an important skill for students. Use specific details and examples in your response.
When I get home, I fix a snack, watch TV and complete my homework. Afterwards I fix dinner then relax with my family. Later, I bring my dog in from outside and take a shower. I usually complete all of my homework by five thirty, except for when I study. When I watch tv, i watch it for about four to five hours except on Mondays and Tuesdays, when I watch wrestling. I have to wash dishes during the week to keep them from piling up I mostly have to have them done at least by eight each
Monday through Friday I am on campus every day, and Tuesday through Friday I have my son. While trying to get my son to school on time, myself to school on time, as well as keeping up with the both of our school work, life gets complicated. It is just me and him and my main focus is making sure he is happy and staying on top of my school work. This schedule does not leave a whole lot of time for my personal health which includes my food choices and exercise. I skip a lot of meals or just snack because of there being so little time. On the positive note of this situation I am incredibly happy being able to juggle all of these things and keep my sanity (barely).
7. How many hours do you spend doing homework and/or studying each day? Every year of high school I spend different hours for studying. I usually go to the library to finish my homework during lunch. I get home around 5:30 because I have a job after school. I begin my homework as soon as I get home and study as long as it takes me to understand the material. I plan on 1-2 hours per class, most assignments can be done less than 75 minutes.
Sunday: (Hours with my mom) When I get home - 5pm-3am. (Not at my moms) 1pm-3am.
Presented above is my schedule for a typical week in the fall. Monday through Friday I have school and afterschool activities. On the weekend, I have work and other obligations. I also made sure to leave myself some free time every day. Balancing my schedule this way allows me to do the activities that I want to while allotting myself time to relax.

I try to keep my grades as high as I possibly can, to do so I must focus a majority of my day on my schoolwork. Currently my grades are good so this schedule may vary for weekdays.
Based on my time management Sheet I think I try my best to manage my time the best way possible. Being a wife, a Mom and having two-part time jobs can get a little hectic and also time consuming but my secret to my daily activities is that with in the time I have created a routine that has helped me to be on top of everything. I also write everything down when I need to accomplish more than the usual things through out the day. I sometimes make a list of everything that I need to do and follow the list for me not to forget within the chaos of the day. This week my schedule varied because of the Holiday but on a regular basis its always the same. Not forgetting to mention when the kids have Doctors appointments, Activities at school or Family
2) What study tips would you give to students who enroll in this class next term? You can discuss whatever you think might be useful: time-management tips, what to study, how to study, what to do, or what not to do.
On a typical day for me I wake up usually around 6:15 and slowly start getting ready for the day. I start by laying in bed for five minutes, or sometimes it may be more like ten. Once I finally get up I take my daily twenty minute shower. My parents try to tell me I need to shorten my shower time to ten minutes, but I like it how it is. After my shower I do what most typical teenage girls every morning, and begin doing my hair, and makeup. Once I am finish in the bathroom I go and find the perfect outfit for the day.
Time management, I believe, is a vital aspect of not only being successful in the classroom, but likewise in having a fulfilling life. Without proper time management skills, many of us would never be able to complete most of our everyday tasks. As a new college student that works full time, along with being a husband and the father of a teenage son, I must now reorganize my schedule each day to include appropriate study time, in addition to daily tasks, to be able to enjoy spare time with my family.

Going back to school as a non-traditional student can create fears of not being successful or feeling that they will not be able to keep up but managing time and having the right attitude can change that for anyone. “The efficient use of time is an important variable in helping students achieve learningn goals and making the classroom a pleasant place for teachers and students” (Mcleod, c2003). There are several reasons that someone would attend higher education but it could be much more difficult for an adult learner especially when dealing with time. Time management is essential for anyone no matter what the task is, but managing time can play a strong role in the success of school.
It is not only important for auditors to keep accurate and precise working papers for an audit, it is also important for auditors to keep accurate and precise records of their time spent on the tasks associated with an audit.
Performance information empowers decision-makes to make informed budgetary decisions. California launched a pilot PBB program in the 1990’s after experiencing a fiscal crisis due to declining tax revenues and rising unemployment. Former Governor Wilson implemented the pilot program in the Departments of Consumer Affairs, General Services, Parks and Recreation and Teale Data Center (Harrison 2003). California Legislative Analyst (LAO) released a review about lessons learned from implementation of the program. There was noticeable progression of program goals through improved program performance, citizen satisfaction and greater accountability (Harrison 2003). In fact, employees from pilot agencies had an increased level of enthusiasm about their work. These employees became empowered from their heightened sense of ability to recognize the role their performance contributes toward completion of program goals.
