Legend Of The Sasquatch, Are They Real, Or Not Real?

Convinced that the Bigfoot was extremely intelligent by the third year of the research, I was persuaded by the evidence, that the Bigfoot was a “human-like” being. This led me to explore the possibility that the Bigfoot had a complete mastery of more than one language, along with a unique language of its own.

The tale of Bigfoot or Sasquatch traces its origins back to the Native American tribes of the Northwestern part of the United States and Canada. The natives told this tale of a group of giant hairy wild ape-man like people that protect the forests to give reason for respecting nature and preserve order. Bigfoot sightings have spread throughout the United States and the world. Our fascination with this creature have spiraled into almost mass hysteria among people to find and prove this creature is real. I decided to observe and analyze the film Bigfoot.

Bigfoot is NOT real. There is no evidence that he is part human, there is no DNA evidence, and there is no valid video or picture evidence that proves he is real. He is just a legend that has been passed down for years. It’s impossible for something that is 7-10 feet tall, covered in fur, and lives in the woods can survive for so long.

The Yeti is sometimes referred to man beast or snow monster. The yeti has been around for 100’s of years. From being 7-10 (Is the Yeti) feet tall and weighing in at 600-800 (Is the Yeti) lbs the half man half beast creature is called several different things in different cultures (Is the Yeti). China: “Yeren”. Mongolia: “Almas”. Vietnam: “Batutut”. North America: “Bigfoot/Yeti”. Australia: “Yowie” and Scotland: “Fear liath”(Does the Yeti). This grunting and whistling creature live in the Himalayas on the top of the ice caps(Does the Yeti).

These people have given detail of its features and characteristics. Bigfoot is described to have a rancid odor which is smelt from miles away. It can weight up to 1,000 pounds and it reach higher than eight feet in length (Gaffron, 16). Its footprints tell a lot about Bigfoot as well, from them scientists deduce his extremely wide strides of six to eight feet, the four inch to 24 inch foot size, and the unusual disproportionate width of the ball of its feet (Fahrenbach). With all its obvious differences Bigfoot also shares common traits with primates, for example the hair some bone structure, and a minimum mental capacity.

A large, hairy, human like primate that is believed to roam in the Northwest of North America. This primate is believed to range from six to ten feet in height, with very large human like feet. Known to often have a foul smell to it hairy body. Bigfoot studiers say that it moves slow and emits a high pitched cry. It has multiple names for different regions of the world. In North America, Americans call it Bigfoot , and in Canada, canadians call it Sasquatch. In the mountains of Asia, the himalayas, it is known as the Yeti or Abominable Snowman. The Yeti is similar creature to the American Bigfoot. A large muscular primate, covered in either dark grey or light brown hair. Believed to weigh around 200 to 400 pounds. Estimated to be 6 foot tall.

Bigfoot (or “Sasquatch”) is a tall, dark haired cryptid humanoid that has become a mystery to the American people. Unfortunately, many believe that the furry beast is simply a hoax, while others know what they saw in the mysterious forest. Based on countless discoveries, Bigfoot has existed at some point. Considering the proof presented by dedicated Bigfoot scientists and fans, totally debunking the controversial topic of Bigfoot would seem ignorant. Perhaps people are not digging deep enough to find the creature.

Bigfoot is a monster that is accepted by Americans because they can embrace how big and strong sasquatch is. Throughout the years of Sasquatch sightings all of them vaguely gave a similar description of what we think we know what the animal looks like today. Sasquatch has very long arms with an ape like face and a flat noise. Its footprints can range between 16-20 in. An adult Sasquatch can be as tall as 11ft while a juvenile Sasquatch is about 7ft tall (Lindemans). They are known to have several inches of reddish brown or black hair with an occasional patch of white or grey hair (“Bigfoot Sasquatch”). Sasquatch is heard to make a distinct hair rising howl or scream (“Animal Planet”). Habitats are normally remote mountains to state wooded parks or swampland but there has been few exceptions where they have been spotted on public highways (“Bigfoot Habitat”). Dr Nina G. Jablonski says, "Apes are big bodied creatures but more importantly they have big brains. In order to supply their brains with energy, they need to eat very nutrient rich foods. How can these animals live in an area with such poor high quality foods”(“HowStuffWorks”). The description of Sasquatch and its habitat is derived from a collaboration of thousands of eyewitness reports from the entire continent, some of astounding length and detail.

In Nepal, the Yeti legend has been told for thousands of years. The Yeti is an animal that lives high in the Himalaya Mountains. It is a big humanlike animal. It has white hair and large teeth. It has huge footprints. There is no proof the Yeti is real. But many people believe it exists. They are scared of the animal. Why does the legend continue if there is no proof? Some people think that the Yeti legend serves a purpose. It scares people away from the forests. Keeping people away, help protect the forests. The forests is sacrad to the Nepali people of the Himalayas. They don't want the forests to be cut down. They don't want people to harm the real animals. The book Sasquatch took many wearisome turns along the way but didn’t live up to the story the synopsis created. Dylan Hickock and his father, Bill Hickock, go on a journey to save Bill’s favorite animal. These family members come across many obstacles along the way, such as an active volcano, but Bill and Dylan still manage to make it out alive. But there are still some consequences. Thunder Cave was by far way better than Sasquatch. Even though these books have the same author, Roland Smith, Thunder Cave was written better. Sasquatch was very choppy. There were sections of dialogue that could even be multiple pages long, and then the same thing on the next two pages but with no dialogue. Going back and forth between dialogue and no dialogue

The Yeti is a mysterious creature that most people have heard the tale of, but not many believe in it. People do not believe the Yeti is real because they have never seen it themselves. Another common name for the Yeti is the Abominable Snowman. The Yeti was originated in the 1800’s, it is a human/animal-like creature that roams around in the snowy mountains. People have reported sightings of the Yeti. In addition to these sightings, there are also many different theories on what the Yeti actually is. No one knows for sure if the Yeti is real, but there are still tales and people still do believe in it.
