The Yeti
The Yeti is a mysterious creature that most people have heard the tale of, but not many believe in it. People do not believe the Yeti is real because they have never seen it themselves. Another common name for the Yeti is the Abominable Snowman. The Yeti was originated in the 1800’s, it is a human/animal-like creature that roams around in the snowy mountains. People have reported sightings of the Yeti. In addition to these sightings, there are also many different theories on what the Yeti actually is. The yeti originated in 1832, in the Himalayas of Asia. The word “Yeti” means that it is a creature that resembles a human and a bear. There are many names for the Yeti, one is the Abominable Snowman, another one is the "Metoh-Kangmi" which means “man-bear snow-man”. “In China, the yeti is known as ‘yeren’ or ‘wild man’”(Eysenck). The Yeti lives in the highest part of the Himalayas. The Yeti lives where there are harsh climates such as freezing temperatures and blizzards. The background of the Yeti is that it is a mysterious creature that lives at the peak of the mountains in Asia. “The Yeti has been labeled the “guardian” of the Himalayan Mountains”(“Lost Tapes Yeti”). It is said, that the Yeti will only come out and travel with the blizzard. It travels from Asia, to North America, and back. There have been many different stories in different parts of the world, but
For hundreds of years, some people have believed in creatures that they've seen but are not proven yet by scientists. In America, there are a couple of sightings seen by the people. Sightings of bigfoot are reported every year by the people who lives near the woods but no one really knows if they really exist or not. Sightings of the lochness monster are reported by the people who goes to the lake every time but it is really hard to believe it because dinosaurs were extinct thousands of years ago.
The big hairy beast that roams around in the woods has a name. Some call it Bigfoot and some call it Sasquatch but no matter what its name is everybody wonders, is it real? Most likely if you ask your parents, friends, or family if they have seen the beast, they will say no and that it’s just a myth but some believe that Bigfoot is oh so very real. Some believe that the beast is a large person who has been lost in the woods and has never found his way home. Others say that it’s some kind of ape and I believe that it’s none of those things and that it’s something no one has ever scientifically discovered. I almost don’t even believe that because unless there is hard proof, how can I really believe?
The forest spirit or leshii is a master of the forest and a guardian of the animals that live within the forest. East Slavs believe the leshii to be frightening due to the power of metamorphosis which enabled him to deceive people, lead them astray and even carry off maidens and children. The Vodianoi is said to be a male figure that is covered in slime, has claws, and is possibly white and bloated, that finds delight in drowning people who have offended him. More popular malevolent spirits are the werewolf and the vampire, which have become admired in today's entertainment industry. The entire Slav area held beliefs about werewolves, which were said to be those born with birthmarks, a caul (or amniotic membrane) on their heads, or tufts of
We live in a world where people do not believe things if they do not see things for themselves. In some religions you must not see but believe. Scientific studies have already proved that this certain creature does exist but yet the world does not seem to accept the facts. Many scientific evidences such as hair evidence, tracks, and audio recordings. Many eyewitness and scientific reviews have attempted by concluding that the bigfoot or the yeti is real.
Regardless of where they are located, almost all ancient civilizations share basic features. For example, most civilizations develop things such as a class system, a common religion, or a system of writing. Another mark of a successful civilization is the evolution of music. Since music is not essential to survival, its development is usually within a large established society. The purpose of music varies from civilization to civilization, era to era. In some cultures, music accompanied religious rituals, as one sees in Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. In others, such as Ancient Greece, music was a part of education and entertainment. Music also played a very important role in keeping legends and records of history alive through oral tradition. The way it was produced ranged from monophonic vocalizations in its earliest history to complex instruments and systems later in time. Any way it was produced, the role music played was one of the most important in ancient societies.
It is still unknown if the yeti is a real or fictional creature. There have been many countries that have led searches for the yeti and none have been able to find out if the urban legend is real or fake. Still to this day researchers have been out looking to try and find if the urban legend is real. The legend will keep on being told time and time again because different countries bring back evidence, so people keep believing the legend. (The Editors of Encyclopedia Britannica. mythical creatures who lived for about five years, then came back from its ashes as a little bird.
A single inanimate object, The Eolian Harp, sends Coleridge flitting in, out, over and through introspection. The trajectory of the poem may be plotted as follows: terrestrial observations, fixation upon single terrestrial item (i.e. the harp), exulting single item into transcendence, an astral purview of the terrestrial via the item, reassessment of mind frame, guilt and denunciation of transcendent thought, and finally, remorse and

These term "cryptid" is a plant or creature whose existence has been proposed but has not been discovered or documented by science in the form of tangible evidence. Classifications include sea serpents, abominable snowmen, mothmen and the modern relic dinosaur
This article is mostly about how the Yeti was a bear. “Because Eight samples of remains such as fur, bones and teeth purportedly from mountain-dwelling yetis” their is also data that shows. “Previous analyses of smaller fragments of “yeti” DNA yielded controversial results. The new study looks at bigger chunks of DNA, analyzing the complete mitochondrial genomes from alleged yetis and comparing them with the mitochondrial genomes of various bears, including polar bears and Tibetan brown bears.” This proves yetis use to be bears of some sort because they have the same exact dna as them.
Throughout the early years of music there were numerous examples of different forms of music that were on the rise while others were deemed to be ushered out. As these new styles of music were becoming more popular they had to fight against groups and individuals that were resisting the change. There were various reasons why people did not approve to new styles of music, including racial tensions, raunchy or obscene movements, and inappropriate movements. Even though there was a lot of resistance to these movements there were a couple key players that helped guide these movements into the national spotlight.
I have been able to experience losing a dear person more than once. The comfort one feels after leaving a close family member in a bad condition, in the hands of someone who cares for that person and takes measures of their own is priceless. It is wonderful to feel that someone really cares for the well-being of one of your family members and that as a professional they can take care of those dear to us. Though some healthcare practitioners do not fit the altruistic category, I have been able to witness doctors that also felt the pain of losing these family members of mine after they passed away. They cried and prayed with us. After this, every time I hear of a healthcare practitioner only chasing the money and the rewards a title of “Doctor” may bring, it just makes me feel uneasy and upset. People that handle the lives of others need to have a sense of humanity. Altruism needs to be

In the poem Percy Bysshe Shelley “Ozymandias” there are several different sound devices portrayed. The author demonstrates use of rhyme and meter. In the beginning of the poem the author used rhyming words to give a description of the mans journey through the dessert, and informing that he found a statue. It states, " Two vast and trunk less legs of stone stand in the dessert." Although, the statue is destroyed and seems to be smashed, considering the 2 legs. Towards the end of the poem the author demonstrates irony, when it says," a colossal wreck, boundless and bare." It was once said to be mighty and powerful, but reveals there is nothing but sand on the desert. "Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things" references that the
