The Pendleton Roundup is one of the main activities in Eastern Oregon that mainly occurs during the summer. This consists mainly of rodeos and of a barbeque and is fun for all ages! Epidemic diseases are the most important product on an agricultural society because they are most likely to occur in areas of many domesticated plant and animal species, which can feed large human populations that in turn create an environment in which epidemics can maintain themselves. Also, the germs evolve from domestic animals themselves.
Farmers Markets are a great summer tradition, but we visited our local Farmers Market to help get us ready for fall. We decided to send one of our employees down to the market to get us ready for fall Here’s what she discovered.
One reason I want to support this is because I love too make my grandparents and other people happy, They love to watch baseball. Lastly one other idea to bring community members together is creating a community garden. In addition it would be a fun way of making money for the community. Everybody could help tend, weed, plant and generally help out, then we could harvest the produce and sell it at the farmers market on the weekend. After, we could buy great items for the community. For example items like canoes people could rent so they can go kayaking in our beautiful Hubbard Lake. One great way to bring all of the community together is to have big holiday celebrations, for example having a christmas tree lighting in the park on christmas eve or a big fourth of july celebration with fireworks and a barbeque cookout with grilled chicken. To create a great environmentally friendly community we could have a once a month trash and recycling cleanup on the sides of the roads, this way everyone is helping the environment and making it look clean and fresh for tourists in the summertime. In my mind all I want to do is have a great loving community with caring
They generally are not interested in anything that cannot be reached by automobile on a good road. Some of the farmer’s children will be able to afford to stay on the farm. Perhaps even fewer will wish to do so, for it will cost too much, require too much work and worry, and it is hardly a fashionable ambition.
Everyone can take notice to the cookie-cutter housing that is springing up with every new neighborhood. This suburban utopia that is rapidly expanding from dense cities is great for families, but there are downfalls attached to these type of development. With neighborhoods quickly turning rural areas into suburban havens, there is less room to farm; which eventually leads to over farming and mineral leaching of the soil, as well as widening the gap that people have of their knowledge of where their food comes from.
This event is called "Impact weekend" as students work together to accomplish various tasks. As a leader of this event, I helped chaperone a group of roughly 15 6th grade boys during the years of 2013 and 2015, and I led the 11th grade boys this past February. During this event we serve the community as a group by helping locals who express a need. This year we had over 150 students gather to help harvest tomatoes for a small company. Each grade also competed in problem-solving competitions around the church to allow everyone to grasp the importance of community and working together. I led bible studies with my group each day, and acted as a mentor for any problems the students were
Every year at Montclaire school there is a fall family day. You get to make rockets and launch them using air pressure, meet police officers (and police dogs), use a giant slingshot to launch angry birds, Guess the weight of the giant pumpkins, and eat yummy food from food trucks.

Roba’s Farm is definitely one of my favorite places and I hope to go again someday and make more
It's 1941, I live in a town in New Jersey. I didn't always live here. My family once owned a farm in Iowa where we grew lots of vegetables and had many different animals. Our house was a two story wooden house with a large covered porch. I loved that house and our farm. Little did we all know that in a few years our lives would be turned upside down and everything we knew would drastically change. It's how we went from the great farm life in Iowa to living in a duplex house in Hightstown, New Jersey. Let me start from the beginning at the life I had in 1928 on our farm in Iowa.
After standing in line for forty minutes at a supermarket, Americans finally get to pay for the food and leave. Unfortunately, the food is anything but fresh or healthy and has traveled very far to get to the final destination. Farmers Markets (FMs) are an old tradition that has barely survived this long due to the rise of the industrial farms and supermarkets. They provide the easiest way to get very fresh and healthy food, but prices can be very high at times. Even though food from a Farmers Market is more expensive, it provides an easy way to get fresh and healthy produce while helping the farmer and the community it represents.
In my neighborhood at Cooper Mountain, I have visited two wonderful homes that belong to our family friends. One of the homes is owned by Nikki, a new couple, and the other home is owned by Ivy, a family of three. How often you walk into a friend’s house, then your imagination starts to compare it with your other friend’s house? Which one would you like to have? I think the key is to identify the right homes based on your family’s particular needs.
My family invested in antique farming equipment and bought multiple tractors. We got involved in the Little Log House Pioneer Village, which is a three-day-event of tractor parades and flea markets.Eventually my family started hosting a hay ride party for my Mom’s co-workers.We wanted to share how we live in country and show off how beautiful it is outside of the city.
