'''Leadership''' is the ability to persuade others toward the actions of one's own choosing. A person, who employs this ability often, or formally, is known as a '''leader'''. There are several different types of leaders, and it's not uncommon for a group to have multiple leaders arranged in a hierarchy. She puts up a convincing front, showing no fear to others, however, this regrettably goes hand in hand with her hostility towards others, such as Lee and Kenny.
'''Military Training:''' Lilly's experience in the Air Force has come in handy many times, since she is both a weapons expert and familiar with training regiments needed to train others. As a result of this training, she is well equipped to train anyone on how to use a gun and command respect from her students. As a result, everyone looks to her for guidance in battle as knowing how to use a gun is essential in her day and age.
'''Social-mindedness/Group mentality:''' Lilly's view of morality tends to favor the well-being of the group over the individual, including herself. Her tendency to think of the safety of the people in her group is what tends to her trying to stop others from joining for fear of what kind of people they are. While this is can be seen as a moral questionable attitude, it is a necessary one with the people that this apocalypse has produced like the St. Johns and the [[Save-Lots Bandits]]. When she does allow people to join it because they have something to offer her people and that kind of strength to think of the group first is an admirable trait one needs in a

While she is not opposed to being in a group she places her and Omid's safety as her #1 priority.
===Favorable qualities===
'''Confidence:''' A frightened group of people will naturally gravitate towards someone who is confident and can talk openly with self-assurance and authority. This makes people feel safe, as if someone else can take care of them or take control of their situation.
===Unfavorable qualities===
'''Solitary Nature:''' Christa only traveled with Omid and wouldn't let them join groups. She obviously doesn't think a group equals protection and sees people as trouble. Depending on how Lee treats her, she can soften up on this a little, but because of this mistrust she wouldn't be willing to lead anyone other than the people she cared about.
'''Mysteriousness:''' Christa's mysterious personality might be helpful in masking her feisty attributes, it could also lead people to be mistrustful of her since she could be perceived in the wrong
She is familiar with politics and military strategies, but not survival skills. Evanlyn is described as being very determined and on occasions stubborn.
Not long before the scheduled deployment, her commanding officer, brash and abrupt, states that he has absolutely zero faith in her and in fact has full confidence in her failure. As a result of a relevant incident in which a company had been ambushed in Iraq, where insurgents took soldiers hostage and killed several, the commanding officer has lost all confidence in Halstead’s ability to lead in combat. Halstead, appalled and completely discouraged by her superiors’ comments, stood confused about what it now
She creates a persona of an earnest and humble individual to appeal to her audience. By sharing likenesses with her intended readers and communicating a true generous Christian tone, she enhances her persuasiveness. Throughout the entire passage, she establishes a friendly voice by using terms that communicate a gentle, friendly feeling. For example, she states that she wrote to the specific audience of Christian women because she felt a "deep and tender interest in your present and eternal welfare." The terms "deep," "tender," and "welfare" emulate the feeling of a caring mother. Through her tone, ethos, and language, she attempted to build trust with the audience from paragraph 1. She took on this position when attempting to lead her fellow Christians.
When one thinks about the leaders of early Christianity, an orthodox vision of Jesus’ male apostles and disciples fills their head. While there is no doubt these men were important, their influential women counterparts are often overlooked and underrated. For years, historians were perplexed at the rapid spread of early Christianity, until they considered women. Women had a major role in the rise and spread of early Christianity because they were not only numerous, but also influential in leadership positions and converting others.
Leadership is the ability of motivating an assembly of people to act towards a common goal and has the skill to make others want to follow in their direction (Ward). The epic Beowulf, contains various scenes of how the protagonist hero, Beowulf, shows great leadership. Beowulf portrays good leadership by his confidence, his physical strength, and his loyalty, which are important qualities of the Anglo-Saxon time.
According to dictionary.com leadership is defined as, the position or function of a leader, a person who guides or directs a group: Its synonyms include guidance, influence, control, direction and supervision. These are all qualifications that are needed to be an effective leader. All characteristics are not necessarily needed at the same time and do no need to be used for each subordinate. This paper will identify my personal leadership philosophy along with theories to support my leadership style.
Leadership can be defined as the ability of a superior to influence the behavior of a minor or group and persuade them to follow a particular course of action. A leader sets a course of action and ensures that everyone follows the action. Leading can apply to leading oneself, other individuals, groups, organizations and societies. The nature of how leading is done depends on the framework of the situation, one's point of view, and on the nature and needs of those involved. While leadership is learned, the skills and knowledge processed by the leader are influenced by their traits, such as beliefs, values, ethics, and most importantly character. Knowledge and skills directly relate to the process of leadership, while the other qualities
Curtis believes that fear has been a part of life since Adam and Eve. She as well as Spence discuss the possibility that fear is used to make the other person do what they are told. By introducing fear to a person they become more worried about that then what they are doing. Most people will do anything to get rid of fear. This urgency to get rid of fear makes a person controlled by the person who has introduced the

According to Webster’s Dictionary, leadership is the power or ability to lead other people, the act or instance of leading. I believe that Leadership is an art, the art to get others to follow and accomplish a common goal or task in a harmonic manner. A leader can be shown in all kinds of shapes and forms. To be a great leader many people believe it consists of modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, and encouraging the heart. Over the course of me learning how to become a better leader and being in leadership roles, I’ve learned that all these are very necessary to be a great leader.
From her earliest beginnings as a follower of Paul, it is clear to see that Thecla was soon to become a revolutionary in the early Christian world. Aside from her near-radical stance as a female apostle, Thecla was ordained by God to perform an array of “...miraculous cures, so that all the city and adjacent countries brought their sick [to her]… [and] they were instantly cured of whatsoever distemper they had” (Jones). In the times of Paul, women were regarded as being the sinful progenitors of Eve, and thus irreversibly unfit to carry out the Holy Gospel. Thecla's blatant disregard for the “...tendency of the emerging orthodox church to enforce norms of modesty for women”, goes as far as her claiming her “God-given right” to baptize, as seen in chapter nine, verses six through eight of The Acts: “...when she had [finished] praying, she turned about...saw a pit of water...and said, now it is a proper time for me to be baptized… accordingly she threw herself into the water...in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Hylen,
Leadership is the ability of a person to influence people toward the attainment of a particular goal. Leadership is a people activity, not like administrative paper shuffling or problem solving. It is a dynamic force and involves the use of power. Out of the forces of leadership come four powerful characteristics: supportive, directive, participative, and achievement-oriented leadership. Although these types of characteristics are not considered ingrained personality traits, they reflect types of behavior every leader is able to adopt depending on the situation.
Being able to lead a group or someone is a very powerful action. Being a leader in general is very powerful. Leadership is an art that is painted, sculpted, and displayed in all sorts of ways. There are many different styles of leadership that correspond with different tasks. From transformational leadership to laissez-faire leadership, there are various styles throughout the continuum. A transformational leader is one of the best, more successful leadership style. When going down the continuum, the leadership styles only become less effective. Everyone also falls in distinctive categories when it comes to leading others. The leadership style that is displayed depends on the person leading and those who are being led along with the task.
Leadership is an approach for a leader to guide, motivate, supervise, manage, and influence others in different situation to reach a goal. According to the Pettinger (2007), the leadership can be explained in several situations. First, the leaders have the responsible to provide vision and direction to the followers. Second, the leaders shall energise and motivate the followers. Third, the leaders shall set and enforce absolute standards of behaviour, attitude, presentation and performance.
Leadership does not have one universally accepted definition; it is according me an ever-evolving concept. I firmly believe that even though individuals can be groomed and trained to be leaders, however some leaders could motivate and influence individuals around them more effectively/easily then others and direct an organization into a coherent and cohesive way in order to accomplish objectives and targets. This exact school of thought is actually a common thread or an existing element in various theories and
