It was a normal school day in November at Lockport Middle School. The sun was out, full of children laughing and playing at recess. My friend and I were talking and she asked me if I would want to go shopping with her in Baton Rouge the next day. I could not wait to go home and ask my mom. I love shopping! The school day dragged only because I couldn’t wait for the next day to come. When I finally got home I asked my mom and she told me that I had to go see my mawmaw before I went. She has been telling me lately that I needed to go see her soon because she was sick. I always made excuses because mawmaw always gets sick, but she always gets out of it! She’s a strong woman, I know she will get through it. I finally convinced my mom to let me go see her when I got back from shopping. …show more content…
My friend and I both were dressing really cute just in case we saw any sweet guys. On the way to Baton Rouge we were singing our hearts out to High School Musical in the car like nothing was wrong. It was such a great day. We finally got to the mall and I found the cutest outfit! It was this really adorable purple shirt with the nicest white shorts ever! While I was trying it on, my mom called me, but I ignored it. We continued to shop and my mom called me ten more times, and I ignored all of them. I was spending a day with my friend; I didn’t want to be interrupted! We finally left Baton Rouge at five to come home, and I decided I was going to just wait and talk to my mom when I got
As Angelica confidently strolled into Rosario High, Eliza and Peggy, her sisters followed close behind. Angelica had been at the school before, because she'd been taking a bus over to the high school for her advanced math class all throughout eighth grade. Eliza, however, had never been inside the building before and felt incredibly small walking in. Peggy wasn't even supposed to be there. She should've been in eighth grade, but she skipped it and went straight to high school. She was very smart, but no one ever noticed. She was always just Angelica and Eliza's sister. They made their way down wing 1B in search of their lockers. Peggy stopped at her locker, number ninety six, while Angelica and Eliza looked for their own. Angelica finished her search at locker number seventy stuff. Eliza found hers a bit farther down, locker 46. While she began to unpack her books, she saw four boys making their way down the hallway. One was the famous jock, Lafayette. No one knew his real name except teachers, because he insisted that it was to long to use. His friend, another jock who was very smart, however, Hercules Mulligan followed him down the hall. John Laurens, who was decent at sports, but more of a science guy was with them, too. Following them was the mystery man, Alexander Hamilton. He was in their grade, but barely anyone knew anything about him. Eliza figured he was just another jock.
I am Mr. LaBreck. I am not the Principal of Chocksett Middle School in the Wachusett Regional School District. I am just an ordinary man who lives on a farm with an ordinary house. And ordinary animals. But something out of the ordinary happened
There is a school in Rhode Island called Opequonsett High. It is full of jocks, mean girls, and popular kids. Hidden deep inside of the crowd are what you might call the outfitters. Vice Principal Mr. Brenigan wants anything BUT outfitters! The kids who did not fit in were usually the ones who got into trouble. Stella got in trouble for wearing an inappropriate shirt. Wen got in trouble for using bad words in class and Mo got in trouble for skipping class and behaving badly. They all got in big trouble for what they did. While they were in detention, a catchy song started playing. Wen started tapping his foot to the beat, then Stella started tapping on the desk. Finally Mo began humming along. They sounded
I’ve been at Barrington Middle School for three years. It is the place where I transitioned from a child bright-eyed and ready for the world, to the older, if not wiser young adult, that I am today. I’ve been here through the good times and the bad as I went from year to year. I am leaving this institution of knowledge more prepared because of AVID. I am leaving ready for my life ahead.
“Bye McKenzie! See you next year!” exclaimed my friend Kimberly, as i walked to my parents vehicle. I had finished my first year of high school successfully at Brooks County High. As I got into the vehicle my parents greeted me with a curious looking smile on their faces. I smiled back and wondered what news they were hiding from my brother, sister, and I. I asked my brother and sister if they knew what was going on, but they did not know. The suspense was almost unbearable for me to handle.
You don’t know how much I love my mom. She’s always been there for me at times when I don’t feel good. She helps me go through rough times, I just don’t know how to thank her. She is a one of a kind mother who is very unique inside and very special to me. Okay now i’m going to tell you a something that was going on in 2nd grade. So I was like around seven or eight years old and these two girls were bullying me just because I was the first one in line, anyways they both send me at the end of the line and my mom immediately went to both of Sherry’s and Melissa’s parents to let them know what was going on. My mom went up to them told them to leave me alone because I never did anything wrong and that I don’t deserve to be treated
If you knew anything about Penelope Wood you wouldn’t expect her to be lying dead on the cold cement just meters away from the last incident, and yes this isn’t the first time someone has “committed suicide” at Middle Park High. I find it absurd that anyone would ever think she would purposely climb to the top of the science block and jump, like what makes those stupid cops think it was a suicide? Not to mention only the teachers had keys to the stairs after what Thomas did. Something like this would never have crossed her mind and I most definitely know this because she was my friend, not just because she was the only one who stuck by when everyone else harassed me after my Mother made me cut my hair like a boy but because we were almost the
As the sun lazily climbed the sky, South Christian High School was just beginning to wake up. Some teachers had already shown up and were walking around the school or working in their classrooms. The few early-bird students roamed the halls, some chatting quietly with their friends. A few children were working tirelessly trying to finish their homework before the first bell
The word success means very differently for each and every person. Success can range from just getting up from bed to go make coffee to making money at a job that you like. In the Oxford Dictionary, by definition, success means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. My story begins when I was in 8th grade at Leyva Middle School. I was in 4th period Algebra 1 alongside many 7th graders and a few 8th graders. In my 7th grade year, I was in the this new program called Bulldog Tech and I had pre-Algebra. In my Algebra class, my teacher, Mr. Nguyen, gave the class a project of creating a presentation of a job that you would like to do in the future. The requirement for the presentation to qualify was to show one way how math is used in your selected job. Mr. Nguyen gave the whole class a week to choose and learn about a job from what you do to the salaries.
Emily, Jasmine, Rene, and Rihanna were on their way to there school, Cedarcrest Junior High, and One day they got in trouble for starting a food fight. They stayed there for almost 5 hours cleaning everyone's mess in the cafeteria.it was really dark they, turned there flashlights on from there phone. They could burly see where they were walking. They tried to open the door, but the door couldn't open they were locked in the school campus
It was a year after the fight. Everything had returned to normal at Trinity High School. Everything was going good for Jerry, except for he didn’t play football this year because of his teammates targeting him last season.
About six months ago Sean was bullied in the locker room at St. Vincent High School. He was in the locker room minding his business when suddenly another teenager comes up and starts hitting Sean in the face knocking him over. Sean could taste the blood in his mouth. After only a few moments the other teenager stopped and ran away. When he got up his head was pounding and he couldn’t feel his bottom lip. He also had cuts all over his face. Thankfully the schools camera caught the whole thing live and the family decided to put the video online so that people could hear his story. Unknowingly something incredible happened. Rener Gracie saw this video and felt touched by it. Rener runs a Jui jitsu company that has gyms all around the country
“ Yea, I heard that there’s a nutty negro student became the president of an Americanism Club in Cleveland Central High School. I bet that poor thing didn’t even know what is Americanism.”
Trump, the businessman who's currently leading the Republican presidential field, addressed a crowd of hundreds from the front entrance of Urbandale High School — the result of a lobbying effort by students to lure a presidential candidate to their homecoming festivities.
The next day, when I was getting ready for school, I really didn’t want to go because of what happened the day before at lunch. So I told my mom I was sick but she didn’t believe me. She knew there was something wrong but i didn’t want to say anything to her because I wasn’t really comfortable about the situation yet. My mom kept asking me what was wrong but I still didn’t say anything so when she dropped me off on the car rider zone, she said she was going to call the school. But the only thing that was wrong about her calling the school is that she doesn't know what’s going on
