Chloe Peterson epitomizes how to draw a cartoon person. There are three subjects to help how to draw a person, the face, body, and details. First, the artist needs to form the face of the person they are drawing. To start off Chloe would use an outline, and draw a circle. She would then draw a line in the center of the circle horizontally and another line vertically. Shape is also necessary in the face because there are many differences in everyone’s faces. Since the head is more of an oval shape she would then form two curved line at the bottom of the circle to form a chin. Once she has found the right facial shape Chloe will then look at the facial features. Chloe would start off with the eyes. She would sketch the eyes on the line that is
At the request of a Board member, we are asking the Board to revisit a discussion we had last fall concerning SCCAP’s property at 4395 State Road 45, Nashville, Indiana 47448.
As we have learned in the first module, in every state in the US, the law allows parents to use “reasonable” corporal punishment against their children as long as they do not inflict dangerous, long-term physical damage. We also know that each state has their own child abuse statues. After doing some research, the Texas statue states that parents have a legal right to “responsibly discipline” their child as long as the force is reasonable. However any intentional physical contact that causes bodily injury or extreme physical pain to a child can be prosecuted as a criminal act. Based on the information provided in the case study, I do not feel that the punishment was appropriate. A child, who is 4 years old, developmentally is still learning how to manage and express his emotions. Mr. Peterson reported that the incident was consistent with his parenting style and as an appropriate means of teaching his children right from wrong. Mr. Peterson’s son was arguing over a VIDEO GAME with his brother, a common behavior that most kids engage in at that age. I certainly do not feel that a severe beating with a switch constitutes reasonable discipline for this type of “normal behavior” of a 4 year old. I feel that Mr. Peterson’s behavior was demonstrating to both children that how you handle arguments is through violence.
Candidate Laffey's brief was very thorough and confident. SNC's brief was fluid, natural, not rehearsed, and contained all elements of the 5 paragraph order to accomplish the mission. However, he used an abundance of pet words such as, "um", and "uh." At times this caused a little confusion in his fire team, making it difficult to determine the current paragraph being briefed and took away from the time allotted to accomplish the mission. Candidate Laffey's initial plan included all the elements necessary to accomplish the mission. During the execution phase, SNC continuously ensured his fire team acted in a manner that was consistent with a tactical environment. For example, SNC adjusted speed, adjusted dispersion, and changed the fire

People tend to become confused on the differences between motive and evidence which are completely different in definition, yet have a few similarities as well when discussing how they tie into one another. Motive, as defined by Merriam Webster is “a reason for doing something”. For example, one’s motive for robbing a bank could be to pay of college debts. Evidence as defined by Merriam Webster is something which shows that something else exists or is true. For example, evidence to a murder could be a potential suspects fingerprints found on the gun used to execute a victim. How these two words, “evidence” and “motive”, words with completely different meanings can tie to each other is that in a case evidence could help find one’s motive for

I think that Brewster means that he his disappointed and angry at himself for not being there for Cody. Brewster obviously cares a lot for Cody, and is always there for him, and he feels guilty that Cody had to go through that by himself, while he was off having an exceptional time with Bronte. Also, Cody says, “ You can’t hurt me Uncle Hoyt, no matter how foul you get, because I’ve got Brew to protect me. And he’ll never let you hurt me. Never never never.”, which means Brewster has always been there to protect Cody and he is furious with himself for not being there to protect his little brother.
2) In “How to Write a college essay” by Chris Peterson, he states that “clichés and tropes of college essays" tend to show up in the vast majority of college essays across the board, and this is particularly bad because it makes an essay boring, and similar to others. I also consider this a problem because; you want your essay to be unique, you do not want to write a paper that is easy, and many people choose to write about. Colleges will usually pick an essay that is unique, well written, and present excellent ideas and reflections, and talks a different issue, thet are not going to pick papers like ”Do Videogames Cause Violence?” or “Are we dependent on computers?” because topics like those are extremely basic in all the sense of the word. In order to solve this problem, Peterson suggests first to “be yourself” meaning that it is your essay, and your ideas you are writing about, do
J.K’s drawing in the Draw a Person, Draw a Person on the Bridge indicated themes such as loneliness, sadness, isolation, incompetence and anger. J.K’s explanation of the drawings supported these themes, she explained that the person felt lost and confused. J.K’s Draw a Person at School suggested that her sadness, feelings of incompetence and anger is related to the school environment. During testing, J.K explained that she is tired of school and is unsure of what she wants to be.
