Long Hours Research Paper

I started getting involved with running my senior year of high school. This was a very terrifying time in my life because I was running with people who have been doing this their whole life, which is quite intimidating when you’re new to the process. The reason why I gave running a chance was the constant begging from my younger and older sisters. They both ran and thought this was something I could potentially be marvelous at. I gave running a shot and ended up accomplishing my goal of being on varsity my senior year. Running is something that I’m genuinely passionate about and also something I’m literate in. I use running as my literacy practices whenever I’m at practices, a meet, or for therapeutic reasons.

After the 4 days, I saw that if I ate a good breakfast and lunch nothing changed. I was still happy and my energy was high the rest of the day. But on Sunday, I didn’t eat a lot and I was using a lot of my energy over an extended period amount of time, my energy level dropped very quickly.

It happened before I knew it. The edge of my vision was bursting with flames, so real I could almost feel their heat, though they did not burn, only flickered and danced along my skin. I yelped, looking down at my hands, ablaze as if they had been shoved into a shove.

You only get out of it what you put into it. If you don't put anything in, nothing will come out. I have heard this quote many times before. It is my own personal philosophy. I believe that working hard pays off. I believe that my hard work will have a good outcome some day and it will not go to waste.

Three hours. Three long hours of driving is a long time when you are a little kid, who is always anxious to move around and release energy. The final road has arrived, one long dirt road snaking through the woods. Every year the familiar bumps in the road rattle the car as we make our way to the driveway of our cottage. Years have passed now and the outside does not look as run down as it used to, due to multiple improvements. The most rewarding aspect of the medical field is at the end of the day, when you have given all you heart and soul in the process of helping a patient feel better. The smile that is fixed on a patient’s face at the end of the day is very satisfying to a nurse. I have been a licensed practical nurse for 30 years, and I presently work at XYZ Home Health Nursing Agency. My duties consist of going in to the patient home and adhering to the medical orders that has been transcribed by the medical doctor. In addition, I am responsible for making sure that the patient takes their medications as ordered by the physician as well as keeping scheduled appointments with the primary care physician. Students love three-day weekends, but imagine a four-day week all year long. A lot of schools have already adopted this schedule, making school easier for both the students and the teachers. While the students have an extra day to recharge and relax for the week ahead, the teachers have time to plan better, more complex lessons. It's a win for both the teachers and students. This new schedule is a very controversial topic within schools which would be a great improvement to be adopted among all. School’s should switch to a four-day schedule because students have a higher morale, it would give them more personal time, time to study and sleep, and the teachers would have more time to prepare for more superior lessons.

Currently, my principal recently decided that every student is obligated to do an extracurricular activity after school each day. What I would like to point out, is that there are reasons why most kids would not be capable to do an activity every day after school. Personally, I would be one of those kids who would have a hard time. Since I take martial arts, having an activity right after school would get in the way of other activities or hobbies I enjoy. On top of that, having plenty of homework and chores would present me to cram all that into one day. Therefore, the reason I disagree is because I will have less time for personal activities, have a lack of rest, and it will have an effect on my family.

A healthy and delicious breakfast is a great start to the day, but well begun is only half done. It is important that we are eating a balanced diet throughout the day in order to ensure that our body gets the essential and appropriate nutrition and thus the fuel that it needs to support growth, development and maintenance of our cells, tissues, bones and organs.

By working hard in life helped me get where I am today. It help me get to regular math. I would work with Mr. Holt during math class and during enrichment that took a lot of work to do that much math for me even some days I got so frustrated. I was not happy at first about regular math because it was a bigger class and I had to leave all my friends that are in star math but know it doesn't bother me so much any more now. Working hard also helped me improve in my reading skill so much.

Traffic related accidents happen frequently and the main cause for this is the drowsy driver. Drowsiness of driver means sleeping at the wheel, that means, sleeping for small amount of time while the driver is driving an automobile. The main reason behind this drowsiness related accidents or a crash is long and hectic hours of continuous driving. When the driver is drowsy, it affects his/her alertness mentally, which decreases his/her ability to operate on vehicle properly and increases the risk of accident or mishap to occur. The drowsiness related accidents have caused a lot of damage to nature as well as human life which could lead to death of the person or a person can become physically or mentally handicapped and many other losses like
