Mad Max: Fury Road Director: George Miller Writer: George Miller, Brendan McCarthy and Eric Blakeney Producer: George Miller, Bruce Davey and Doug Mitchell Cast: Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough and Nathan Jones 1 Madness like you’ve never seen To say Mad Max: Fury Road was a surprise it’s both, true and lie. It is a lie because I already expected this movie to be really good, there was no doubt director George Miller can immerse you into a world of anarchistic madness and superb designed character costumes (how is it that this guy was the director of Happy Feet?). And it is true, because what I didn’t expect was this movie to be that good, surpassing even the previous ones in …show more content…
Let’s extend a little on the action scenes, the fact that they were made with practical effects, gives them a different look from the blockbusters we’ve seen in the last 10 years, and also the choreographic madness that goes for almost the entire movie, sends you to a 2 hours rush of adrenaline. Other of the most surprising things about the movie is Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron). This movie could easily be called “Imperator Furiosa and Mad Max”, because actually, the heroine in the movie is her, the most interesting and developed character, give us a hell of a ride in her rig from and to the Citadel. She is actually the one that kicks off the movie taking that fateful left turn that sets off the pandemonium. Max (Tom Hardy) is a more distant character, with a realistic take on how the life he’s been living leaves him with PTSD, having hallucinations and literally, tics. Tom Hardy’s portrayal is great, don’t get me wrong, but the character played by Charlize Theron is simply, larger. To summarize, Mad Max: Fury Road, is one of the best movies of 2015, it has superb action, it has a flawless-crazy-anarchist-unforgettable world and it has Imperator
At first glance the movie made me think that I am watching a predictable criminal story. The opening shoot of the close up of that unique instrument was brilliant. Scenes were played in few sets that seemed to repeat every now and then. Music choice was closer to a happy comedy than building a tension. Such as shiny cobblestone street at night, that picture was used quiet few times during the movie. One of the best moments was when we could see the shadow on the wall that was slowly making its way towards the audience. Another moment that made me smile was a shoot of the cat that magically change its whole appearance within seconds transforming itself into a totally new cat. I wondered what happened with can number one? Most likely fury little creature quit his/hers acting career and left into deep Vienna.
Cast: Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Ginnifer Goodwin, Robert Patrick, Dallas Roberts, Dan John Miller, Larry Bagby, Shelby Lynne
characters are unique. Throughout the movie, the main characters do not realize what was going
This film got it right because I am sure that many people can relate to this film. Many us have probably gone
I think it’s filmed well not too many transitions in the film or weird shots from below. Sound effects are normal nothing spectacular or anything that truly stands out. There is little to no music in this movie at all and when there is it’s the same sound and musical noise over and over again which I can stand to you is easily my least favorite part of this film. All the sounds and cinematography put together in this film make for a truly stunning movie that really brings out the feel and time of the movie itself.
The film is sublime. It’s funny and insightful as it creates very different worlds for its two characters, and yet it doesn’t shy away from the harsher aspects of the lives of Mary and Max.
All of the characters presented in the movie have a distinct personality, making the viewer engage deeply in the heart pumping action and drama.
The film Sicario, directed by Denis Villeneuve in 2015 was classified as an American crime-thriller drama that starred Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, and Josh Brolin. The film Sicario (2015) was written by Taylor Sheridan.
This movie mad a lot of money. You can look at it from two different view points a child’s view point of it being funny and a nice entertainment or looking at it from a working view point and you seeing it as being apart of
The film Mad Max: Fury Road was directed by George Miller and was released by Warner Bros. Pictures, in May 2015. The main characters in the film are Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron), Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) and Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). The film also features other important characters such as Nux (Nicholas Hoult) and the five wives of Immortan Joe (Zoë Kravitz, Courtney Eaton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Abbey Lee and Riley Keough). The film takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, where humanity is broken and where resources such as water and gasoline are limited. It then follows Imperator Furiosa who sets out to escape the reign of tyrannical Joe, taking with her his five wives. This betrayal results in a long-lasting road battle,
I believe that this action packed blockbuster that gave Leonardo DiCaprio an Oscar is boring. I believe this not because it has a poor scenery or bad acting, the acting is phenomenal and the scenery and special effects are very detailed and
character, storytelling, and suspense in the film are all fantastic and help solidify it as a
Though the starring actors have plenty of box-office power, the acting was mediocre at best. The film should have been called the Charlize Theron movie, because let’s face it; the movie was all about her dramatic portrayal of the evil queen. Theron’s performance was so strong that poor Kristen Stewart just didn’t have a chance. The stunningly gorgeous Theron, made it hard to believe
Special effects play a huge roll in modern day films; they are mainly used to grab the attention of the audience. In the making of THE GODFATHER, very few special effects were used. The director, Francis Ford Coppola was able to capture the audience’s attention with a terrific cast, and a captivating story line. The movie explores many aspects of real life such as family responsibility, a father's legacy, the need to earn respect and the corrupting influence of power. These are some of the ingredients combined in Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece. The movie ran close to three hours and every scene was better then the last; not boring the viewer throughout the entire performance.
So far in this Mad Max review, we’ve only looked at the positives. But, that doesn’t mean that this game hasn’t got any negatives. One very important thing that I look into when I play a game is a storyline. Having watched Fury Road, I was having high expectations about this game.
