Introduction
In every corner of a successful organisation, management and leadership has a strong connection, cannot divide one from another because both has to complement each other in many ways. Many authors and theorists argued that management is completely different skill than leadership and others just insist that leadership is a skill of a management studies in which needed to be updated with the world permanent variables of globalisation. In hard hit Journalism (Management Today, Haymarket Business Media, 2014) has contributed to expose many faults in high profile companies management and expose their lack of managerial skill.
This report completed by observation of how management works and what type of leadership in the costa coffee shops in the UK, the establishment based on chain of coffee shops around the country and has many employees who comes from different background and walks of life which represent Cost company as a rich culture to attract many customers to increase their revenue.

Good management and leadership are essential for organizations to operate and additionally for the businesses to prosper. When businesses are well administered, they can function successfully and they can function effectively. Managers have exceptionally effective and strong plans, mangers have systematized structures, organizations, and they also assess effects. When businesses are appropriately directed, they acclimate to modifications in the situation and cultivate cultures that encourage obligation and improvement. Mutually good management and good leadership are essential to maintain organizational performance.
Leadership is a facet of management. It is just one of the many assets a successful manager must possess. The main aim of a manager is to maximize the output of the organization through administrative implementation. To achieve this managers must undertake the four functions of management: planning, organization, leading and controlling. In some cases leadership is just one important component of the leading function. Predpall (1994) said, "Leaders must let vision, strategies, goals, and values be the guide-post for action and behavior rather than attempting to control others". In some circumstances, leadership is not required. For example, self-motivated groups may not require a single leader and may find leaders dominating. The fact that a leader is not always required proves that leadership is just an asset and is not essential.
Some theorists use the terms ‘leadership’ and ‘management’ reciprocally as if they are tantamount with one another, while others use them in a very purposeful sense to express that they are, in effect, rather different (Bush, 2003). Leadership can be defined as the process of identifying a goal, motivating others, and make them to achieve the mutually goals (Giltinane, 2013). According to Humphreys (2002), successful leaders do this by applying their leadership knowledge and skills. A good leadership is not only good at management, but also use different leadership styles in different situations. A successful corporation must has a good leader who have the flexible ability which can provide a suitable leadership to make the company successful. There are many different types of leadership styles that are tailored to a firm's goals and resources and the leader must be able to determine which is best. Leadership can make or break an operation as is sets the operational structure and the amount of power each individual has. No matter what a manager must be able to effectively lead a team. They need to be able to motivate individuals and keep them on task so they may reach their goal within a timely manner. Without leadership an operation can fall to pieces if employees lack direction, are unaware of the goal, or lack the passion to execute their task properly.
A leader is described in different ways, some are naturally talented to be a good leader, and some obtain their leadership ability from their environments or from their experience, and others get leadership ability from academic, career, and accumulated skills. Leadership in the workplace is an essential but rare commodity. In many organizations leadership is interchangeable with management, but a great organization will recognize the vital roles that both positions hold. Leadership is the compass that steers management through the treacherous waters of the free market. Consequently management leads its employees through the everyday tasks that will build the foundation necessary in order to obtain the organizations long term vision. It is my experience that most companies, especially my last employer, have little experience in leadership thus overexerting the management team.
