They have supported and fought for many laws to be passed and have filed court cases against people mistreating animals. We are helping animals. I chose this topic because I have a pet myself and I enjoy taking care of my pet. I like animals and everything about them, so that is why I chose to save pets and try to get them a loving owner. I remembered how I wanted to help those poor animals that were being treated so cruelly. And for all that I remembered, I decided that the Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) was the interest group I felt strongly for and chose to research.
