KASS(Kentucky Animal Support Shelter)
We are helping animals. I chose this topic because I have a pet myself and I enjoy taking care of my pet. I like animals and everything about them, so that is why I chose to save pets and try to get them a loving owner. My purpose is to get donations, so we can donate to pet owners who can’t afford to take care of their pet/pets and find our shelter animals homes. I also want to decrease the population of homeless animals in Kentucky. My goals are to save at least 10,000 animals and get at least 1,000 adoptions a year.
Our symbol that represents my foundation is a gold paw print.
My location is in Frankfort, Kentucky and I chose this location because Kentucky has one of the highest amounts of
Aiden Lykken is the founder of the organization of Woofin & Hoffin 5K and Doggie Dash in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This organization are for the pets who don’t have a shelter or have been abused. Aiden has seen many situations like this happen with his own eyes. Now thousands of people are helping out by participating to help run the Woofin & Hoffin 5K and Doggie Dash to help support those animals that are abused. This young boy has made a huge difference beginning with his community and coming out big with other communities. Now a huge increase had began to grow, meaning people are taking in consideration of helping those animals who don’t have a shelter. A change has to be created in your home, community or wherever one tends to make a difference,
Puppies indeed make everyone happy; they are like family members, who cheer and make their owners happy. You will find numerous organizations, who are working towards saving a particular breed or helping the stray dogs find a home. One such example is of Kabeara Kennels, where Teresa Heaver is working for the betterment of Samoyed puppies.
Imagine you are at the alter with a priest who is willing to let a snake bite you. You are timid, scared, and unsure if you will live. You cry out for help from God, but the venom circulates through your body, proving your state of faith. This practice is called snake handling. Told from three different perspectives, Adelaide Lyle, sheriff Clem Barefield.
To improve the well-being of individuals through health education, counseling and detection screening programs. Over the next few weeks, our mission will consist of finding new solutions to better educate individuals in our society on the importance of health education, by improving care through technology, which ultimately better our society. Our organization will focus on fundraising, however, we focus on fundraising will be from a health perspective, to make sure we focus on individual health at all times. I will be responsible for the implantation of Better Health Care

The world and its people are not the only things that need assistance. We must not forget about the animals.Because animals cannot speak their concerns, we have to be their voice. There are animals roaming around homeless with no food or water and most of them have been abused. Animal lovers including myself, wont let this continue. Yes, there are many charities that have contributed to making animal abuse and neglect stop, but this issue hasn't been fully ceased yet. In result, I would like to support the non-profit corporation, ASPCA (the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). The ASPCA was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world to stop animal abuse and/or neglect. It was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law. This organization is a no kill for space shelter. These are only some of the reasons why this organization is a noteworthy
The majority of children at CIPCC are able to fully participate in the program without requiring modifications. However, there are many alterations and modifications which we make to the Kiddie CATS program, to the environment and to the materials, to allow the program to run smoothly and create an atmosphere where children are able to participate, regardless of their ability. Certain children require additional support and accommodations, nevertheless, I can still see enjoyment and benefits from their participation in the program.
Dogs are friends who brings a calming influence, allowing people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them. These are trained Comfort Dogs for Lutheran Church Charities. Kurt Onken, pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Marysville, Washington., wasn’t really sure about the value of the so-called “comfort dogs” prior to a shooting at the local high school just down the road from his church. The pastor has seen the usefulness of the specially trained golden retrievers with his own eyes. For example, for five days after the shooting at Marysville - Pilchuck High School when the dogs visited with their handlers, they visited numerous sites in Marysville in an effort to help students feel safe and happy again. These specially
Establish Credibility: I currently have a dog, 2 guinea pigs, and 8 birds that we have adopted. I also volunteer for Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society whenever I can.
Charleston Animal Society is involved with non-profit organizations that are working to make our world a better place. Whether it is working with children, the elderly, hurting bodies, hurting souls, or the environment, non-profit volunteers, workers, and organizations fight for justice, equality, and hope. In this case Charleston Animal Society works to fulfill its mission by caring for pet parents and pets, providing positive outcomes for at-risk animals, and serving all victims of animal cruelty. And just like any other important phenomenon, non-profiteering is a socially sustained reality. That is, it is made up of real-life people in real-life situations, working together to create and sustain an organization and hopefully working together to create positive change. Charleston Animal Society utilizes both its website and its television advertisements to encourage people to participate in the organization either by donating or adopting.
Chester Springs, PA- Did you know that Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) receives no federal, state or local funding? MLAR relies solely on donors, volunteers and those open to adopting a new pet.
My passion is to help animals. There are a lot of animals that are killed in shelters but there are thousands of dogs being bred in puppy mills that don't have homes. The global context that goes with my project the best is fairness and development because every living creature has rights and no dog should be treated the way they are in puppy mills. My goal for this project is to raise awareness against puppy mills. The dogs in puppy mills and shelters will benefit from my project. I love animals and my heart breaks every time I see something about a puppy mill.
Imagine being a staff member or a volunteer at an animal shelter. Imagine watching day in and day out as animals passed through your doors, the unmistakeable scent of desolation and grief filling the room like a tidal wave. Imagine standing in front of the donation jar, counting the measly offerings, and hoping they added up to at least five dollars. Ravalli County should do more to encourage adoption of impounded animals, and supply more resources for, the Bitterroot Humane Association. The BItterroot Humane Association is our local “pound” that takes in lost, abandoned, abused, or unwanted companions. They provide pet owners with an outlet should they ever not be able to take care of their animals. Then, these pets are placed back into loving homes, making everyone happy. With a limited budget, they have to care for many, many animals. The Bitterroot Humane Association does not give animals a “time limit” for being put down. Some shelters in Missoula, for example, euthanize their residents if they do not find homes soon enough. Many animals at the kill shelters are very loving and sweet, and deserve a little more time to adjust. At no kill shelters, such as the Bitterroot Humane Association, they are not put down. Several of the dogs and cats have been there for a long time, which is definitely hard on them. Finally, the humane association also helps other animals in
The Animal Humane Association mission is to “To engage the hearts, hands and minds of the community to help animals.” Even with thoughtful and helpful volunteers, saving animals takes the capital. On average twenty thousand pets come through the doors of the Animal Humane Association looking for care, vaccines, and forever homes. The Animal Humane Association use seventy-four percent of their profits to provide for animals in need, while the other twenty-six percent goes to the organizing and management of the foundation. Oftentimes seventy percent of profits is just not enough money to provide a stable and quality home for the thousands of pets that come through the Animal Humane Association ; thus we have decided to help this mission-driven charity gain some assets in order to keep the number of pets who live and die on the streets low.
The idea of volunteering, giving one’s free time in exchange for a warm feeling of accomplishment or satisfaction in the selfless act of doing good. Whatever our motivations, most of us have ideals we are willing to stand up for and do something about. I care for a great many things; the well-being of dogs (animals in general) and our environment are amongst the most important to me. Let us focus on the volunteer opportunities available at Orange County Animal Services as compared to those offered locally by a non-partisan group called the Citizen’s Climate Lobby. Although both are worthy causes, saving dogs and protecting the environment differ in the skill set, the varying levels of commitment, and the scope of impact involved.
