To help my community, it would be a huge first step to figure out what is most needed in your local food pantry. Figuring out what a majority of people need will be very useful in drawing in people, whereas if you started a food drive on things that people were not in need of, nobody will move towards it. If, per say, you greatly supported a person who was in need of food, many others in the same situation will go to the food drive, knowing it’s
“Excellence is a self-imposed standard of conduct. In addition, excellence also,” …means replacing bumbling with efficiency, carelessness with skill, embarrassment with pride” (Johnston page 24). This is what we mean by the word excellence. Excellence is difficult to define because,”… we all certainly recognize it when we observe it in others. And we are refreshed and reassured when we witness it” (Johnston page 25). This word can also be defined as,” a certain style of life, a manner of living, a bigness of spirit, a point of view, a frame of reference, a set of priorities, a hierarchy of values, an admirable self-imposed standard” (Johnston page 25). Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.” This a powerful quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. how we can benefit a student’s life. The Giving Children a Mulligan in Life interest group would be a locally funded group in Atlanta which would teach life lessons through the game of golf in a fun and interactive way. “Giving Children a Mulligan in Life” would help with the record high levels of dropouts in this city. Certainly with Atlanta having one of the highest dropout rates in not just Georgia, but in United States at 59.1% with an 8% rise in the last two years reported by the Georgia’s Department of Education (2014) is more than enough of a reason for this group to exist.

Because his father planned for him to become a lawyer, shortly after receiving a Master of Arts degree from Erfurt University he returned to the university to study law. Consequently, after a life threatening experience in a storm, Luther left the university and joined a monastery. In 1505, Luther became an Augustinian monk and subsequently became a priest in 1507. People do not acknowledge the struggles that African Americans had to endure for them to be treated equally, the way a true American is supposed to be treated. They were not given any opportunities and were treated harshly because their skin color was different. Whites were able to practically do anything they wanted, unlike blacks, who were racially discriminated or beaten for no apparent reason.
