We pull up to the May Wood County High School, my mom quickly drives off as I get out of the car. I turn to the building, not even two seconds after looking at it, a lady in black comes up to me and grabs my arm. "You need to get in the school before the bell rings young man!" Her voice was eerie in a sense. She dragged me into the building, standing there were tons of other students talking to their friends and socializing. The lady walks back outside to "greet" the other late students. I stand in the middle of the sea of students, not knowing what to do. Everyone was eyeing me and I could definitely hear them talking about me, all of a sudden the bell rang and the flock of kids moved down the hall to their first period. I had to take a quick …show more content…
Mr. Ells room 476. I walk in and see only two students in the room, a very tall kid in a trench coat, and a average sized kid also wearing a trench coat. I awkwardly sit down in the closest seat I could find avoiding any contact with those boys. Time passes by and the rest of the kids come in and sit down. Last of all to come in was the teacher. "Keith and Riley, please take the sunglasses off in class, I am 110% sure there is no sun in here" The class laughs as they take them off. I glance at the tall one who I think is Riley, he looks at me back with a terrifying but somewhat friendly smile. An hour passes and I am off to my second class. While I'm looking at my schedule in the hallway, Riley and Keith approach me. "Hey kid, are you new?" asks Riley. "Yeah, I just moved here from Jefferson" Keith chimed in saying "Jefferson? Really? That school sucks ass dude, sorry you had to go there". Before I could even get a word in Riley followed up with "I'm sure you know our names already, but I'm Riley Watters and that is Keith Johnson, my brother from another mother" I quickly reply. "Nice to meet you guys, gotta go" and I speed down the hallway into the void of
A stranger in the village is someone that is new to a place or isn’t familiar with something. Approximately two years ago I moved, which meant I had to move schools too. I was 15 years when I moved to McEachern High School but it made me be a more independent person.
Young, but driven, Jorge began dancing in the spring of his senior year at Sharyland High School. He was welcomed into Melba's School of Dance's family where he was introduced to ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and folklorico.
“ In the early month of May at the Menifee Middle School, it was a normal day until ‘YES’, ‘HIT HIM’ ‘HIT HIM.’ Students were pilling out into the schoolyard toward the echoes of cheering. With the excitement in the air, it was the chance for students to grasp the glimpse moment of exhilaration.
It was a cold early morning, me, Little man, Cassie, and Stacey were walking to Great Faith elementary school and every day the white kids of Jefferson Davis County school would always ride the bus and we had to walk. We had a history test and I had some cheatin notes and I pulled my cheatin notes out in front of Stacey and
Transferring to Carencro High School was really terrifying. I was a Lafayette High School student and we just thought we were the best school since we were an A school. Like “ nobody couldn’t tell us anything.” That been my mindset for the past 3 years since I’ve been there. I remember there were times I was like” I can’t wait to leave that school.” I honestly didn’t think I would be leaving so early.
The arrival of the town’s carnival meant two things: summer was coming to an end and school was starting up again. While Ryder would normally groan at the thought that his summer vacation was ending, it was kind of bittersweet this time. After all, he was entering his last year of high school and it would be the last time that he would walk down the halls of McKinley High. It was crazy to think that he would be graduating in just a couple of months and despite the fact that he was pretty stoked to move on with his life, he couldn’t help but be a little scared too. He knew he couldn’t dwell on it too much though, which is why he had to make the most of his senior year, while trying to keep his grades up.
I had really enjoyed my life in Newmarket, but I was time to start my life in New York City. My dad got a job there, so my mom and I moved there with him. I really liked my last school and had lots of friends there that I would miss dearly. It was the first day of school and I didn't know what the kids at this school would think of me. As I walked to school, I wondered what my fate would be today. I was almost at school when I noticed something unusual. I noticed that all the kids at school walked in cliques. Nobody in a clique talked to others cliques, and it felt like they wanted to isolate themselves. This was weird for me due to the fact that at my old school, everyone talked and socialized to each other. I walked into the giant building, and it was like nothing I had ever seen before. The school was massive, and it was at least 3 time bigger than my old school. I had to find my own way to my first class, and got myself lost several times, but I finally found where it was. I walked into the classroom and the teacher greeted me and I was introduced to the class. I went and found a seat at the very back of the room, where the only seat was available. I noticed as I sat down, the kids started to look at me in a funny way! I wasn't sure what this meant but it made my stomach turn, as if I knew something bad was going to happen. As I walking out of class I got bombarded with tall strong boy’s. They
“Wyandotte High School,” Mrs. Marilyn said. We were next. My anxiety screaming “you have to get up and do stuff or you’ll fail in life.” I got up from my seat and headed to the stage. My heart was racing loudly that I was afraid that everyone would hear it. My hands dripped with sweat. I kept taking deep breaths to calm myself. I felt the spotlight following my every move.
A typical Friday in Mr. Ventos second hour math class at North Shore Middle School is anything but typical. You start out by being greeted by Mr. Vento as you walk into his room. You sit down at your desk and notice the entertaining posters on the walls and many bobble heads above Mr. Ventos desk. Then you start your warm ups. Usually half the class is working while the others talk. The last person to perambulate into the room is always Sergio Osuna, An eighth grade student at North Shore Middle School. You now Sergio is close by because whenever Mr. Vento sees Sergio he vociferates “SERGIOOOOOOOOOO!”. Now that everyone is in the classroom the real work begins.
As the sun lazily climbed the sky, South Christian High School was just beginning to wake up. Some teachers had already shown up and were walking around the school or working in their classrooms. The few early-bird students roamed the halls, some chatting quietly with their friends. A few children were working tirelessly trying to finish their homework before the first bell
It’s just a normal Tuesday, I tell myself as I look at my usual spot now occupied by the blonde haired, blue eyed, bombshell Yuki Akima. The newest addition to Shady Oaks High and already I absolutely despise her. I spot an open chair in back and head for it passing by Yuki not bothering to give her a second glance. I sat in the chair and waited for the teacher to get in. When I look up Yuki’s blatantly staring at me a strange look in her eye.
The sun appeared over the horizon, painting the sky in countless warm golden shades. The rising sun brought with it the awakening of the people and the city started to slowly emerge from its nightly hibernation as the roads filled with vehicles that seemed to roar in the crisp morning air, As the workplaces slowly filled the noise of the roads died down as people started to go about their daily routine content with the habitual life that they continued to live. This would not stay true for the students of Steele high school for much longer.
Well, there once was a time, after the graduation of the class of 2019 from the school of Rivercrest High School. Three people had an unwelcoming time after leaving the school. They all didn’t know each other but they had interacted together. These are their stories and how they changed forever.
"Get her out." Lilly hissed as Mary Louise started to pull Elena from the car. They had rode for awhile before reaching the Mystic Falls High School. The school where Elena and her friends never really intended after all the drama that came when being involved with vampires. The last time Elena recalled being there was after Kai Parker captured her and held her hostage. She had went to talk to Damon when Kai cloaked her in a spell that hid them both, then knocked her unconcious. He had used the high school to practice his newly impowered magic. Damon and Jo showed up eventually and rescued her from Kai.
The doors swing open, the sound of screaming, giggling, unzipping of jackets and thumping of little feet, cease the prior quiet Monday afternoon. It’s a typical day at Pleasant Grove church; the Greatminds program has just begun. Brianna, Mayonne, and Miasia rush in with smiles and warm hellos and embrace Erica and I, an embrace similar to one given to a friend that had not been seen in months; yet just last Monday we had all went pumpkin picking.
