The Maze Runner by James Dashner is an action, adventure, science fiction book. It is about a teenager named Thomas, who arrives in an enclosed environment with no memory of his past. He lives with other teenagers, all boys. Everyday, they try to figure out a way to escape the maze, and seek freedom, but Thomas figured a way out. All of the gladers (the nickname of the people, due to them living in a place called the glade) ran out in the maze, most of them were killed by grievers (monsters that live in the maze), but some of them survived including Thomas. The survivors escaped the maze.

The Maze Runner begins with a young boy, Thomas, starting his new life in an elevator. Thomas has no memory of his life prior to this moment. In his mind he could see things, and he knew things, but he did not know where he was, or where he came from. His life was a mystery. When the elevator doors finally open, Thomas finds himself standing in a glade surrounded by walls. There are several other boys, who like Thomas, do not know where they came from. All the young boys knew were what their names were. These boys, who have no memory of their lives prior to entering the Glade, pull Thomas into the Glade. Thomas quickly discovers that the Glade is like a farm. The farm is run by Alby and Newt. Alby and Newt are two boys who control everything and everyone in the Glade. They force all the boys to do farm work while at the Glade. Alby and Newt are very mean to the boys, and force all of the boys to adhere to a strict set of rules. Entering the glade with an only small fragment of his memory, he has to survive through the hardship and be a runner in order to find a way to escape the glade. The maze runner is set in an apocalyptic world. Thomas should accustom and demonstrate his skills to be a runner in the maze, but he can only do this with the help of other gladers. Thomas starts as a whiner, unwilling and an impulsive kid who just wants to figure out the maze himself, but eventually evolves as a brave, compassionate, and an intelligent kid realizing that he wants to redeem himself by helping his friends and assimilates into the glade striving to become a runner with the help of gladers.

None of them knows who they really are, all they know is their names, nothing else. They have established a life in this place, and for the last three or four years many people have come up through this box that opens in the ground. The Maze Runner by James Dashner is a young adult/ science fiction book which takes place in a maze known as the Glade. Some of the most important characters include Minho and Thomas. Minho is one of the most interesting characters in the book. He was the leader of the boys, called Gladers, and one of the wisest characters in my opinion. Thomas is the main character of the story. Despite his memory loss, he helps guide the Gladers out of the maze they have been placed in. His strong efforts to save the Gladers and do what’s right has earned him the respect and trust to become a leader.

He is then pulled out of the cage by the gladers, who live in the glade. After about a day he is able to meet the leader Alby. A little bit after that Alby and Minho are trying to get back into the maze as it is closing. Alby was stung by a griever and Minho was trying to get back into the glade. Thomas seeing that Alby was hurt went to go and save him. The three were then trapped in the maze. Thomas saved Alby from the night by hiding him. Thomas was being chased by grievers almost the whole night. Thomas then wants to become a runner. Minho agrees with it but Gally another member of the glade

In the beginning, the main character, Thomas, has his memory wiped so he doesn’t know anything. Over time though, he begins to accept where he is (the Glade) and that the people in the Glade have nothing but each other. Thomas also adapts to the Glade’s slang, and talks like a Glader. He also saves the lives of some Gladers who are his friends, such as Alby. At the end Thomas became a sort of leader, trying to make the best decisions when the rest of the Gladers didn’t know what to do. Thomas talks to the other Gladers like someone would talk to their friends or family, and Thomas does his best to help protect the Gladers. Thomas is hard and cold to the people from WICKED, as at the end one of their workers kills Chuck, one of Thomas’s

Thomas is the narrator and protagonist of the story. He arrives in the maze with no knowledge of who he is or was. He only remembers his name and nothing else about his life. Thomas proves to be brave and clever even though he only has a very limited memory of previous knowledge of the Maze. Since arriving in the maze, Thomas makes both friends and enemies and proves to be a leader among the other boys with him in the maze.

The Maze Runner is an escaping move and it is cool and i think you are going to have to really pay attention to the move if you want to understand the move.

The Maze Runner, written by James Dashner, is a novel for you more adventurous people. It may remind most of other books like The Hunger Games or Divergent. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5 because it effectively mutates suspense and action/adventure into 375 pages of utter glory. This manipulative story begins with our narrator in the first person, Thomas, who will be our main character throughout the journey. Our knowledge progresses as his does, making him a reliable narrator. He does not know where, when, or why he is there. All he knows is that it is called The Glade. The people have strange dialect that is foreign to his word bank. He quickly discovers that there is something called The Changing which happens when you get stung

Society is neither good nor evil, it is both. And an individual has to separate themselves from their society to commit an act of good or bad. Once they have separated themselves, they can influence society.
