My favorite topic in MEC 100 is the 5 Members of the Technology team – name position, typical duties, skills and education because at the beginning of the semester I didn’t know what is the different between engineer and technologist. The information that I collected from this Topic helped me a lot in my decision at any position I want to be? where I want to work? what are my responsibilities as an engineering technologist ? and what is the education degree I’m require to get a job in this position.
And in this topic, I also learned a lot about each member of the five members and I liked so much the technologist position because it is considered transformer information from scientist and engineer to technicians and skilled workers. And the
Pens, I'm sure you use them nearly every day. Most likely, a fair number of the pens you use are BIC. BIC, a disposable consumer product manufacturer, was founded in 1945. The product I chose to research is the most common, the BIC Cristal ballpoint pen. BIC was created in France, now it has spread its reach to the far corners of the world. BIC sells everything from pens, to lighters, to water sports equipment.
JROTC, also known as Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, is a program that is offered in high school, which gives students an introduction to the U.S. Army. The main mission of this program is to motivate young people to become better citizens. This program teaches self-discipline, confidence, and pride in a job well done. It offers many challenges and opportunities which is surely able to increase one’s life skills and leadership skills, such as sharpening your communication skills, strengthen your self-esteem, and improving your physical fitness. Throughout its century-long history, multiple things had changed, while other things stayed the same, but the ROTC program will continue to remain as a promising existence for years to come.
The characteristics of outstanding scholarship, leadership, character, service and citizen definitely apply to me as an individual. The characteristics of outstanding scholarship apply to me as an individual because I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average for the first two trimesters and will continue to maintain a 4.0 grade point average. The characteristics of excellent citizenship relate to me because I have never gotten suspended, expelled, or a detention and have never had excessive tardiness. Not to mention, I demonstrate participation and involvement in all my classes. I display outstanding character because I show the highest standards of honesty and reliability and I consistently exemplify desirable
I have done my best in school. I have always gotten a grade better than a A- in school. In order to achieve this, I do extra credit when it’s given, go in early to class if I do not understand a concept, and get homework done in a orderly manner.
Music is a very powerful expression of emotions that come together as a whole to morph your psychological feelings into a sub-reality vision. Over the many years, history has been able to capture the moments at which music has made an impact on human lives. We can start with Manu Chao the artist that sings about left-wing messages and portrays his concerts as “collective therapy”. Or Juan Gabriel the young man that rose out of poverty to become the world’s most beloved artist/songwriter and whose music carried a resonate flamboyant style. Music is a way of communication that is used in many realms such as entertainment, tradition religion and sporting events. So far this semester, Chic 316 has influenced me to seek a more coherent relationship
Cladribine is an adenosine deaminase inhibitor. Adenosine deaminase, an enzyme involved in purine metabolism, plays an important role in DNA and RNA synthesis through the turnover of nucleic acids in tissues. Cladribine is a well-known purine nucleoside analog which interferes with adenosine deaminases, thus used for treating lymphoproliferative disorders, such as hairy cell leukemia (HCL) [1].
The effects of teen homelessness are many ranging from untreated physical and mental health to drug and alcohol dependence. Many youth also fall victim to the prison system and even death due to criminal behavior as a means of survival. During my research a study was conducted on youth entering and exiting the foster care system. Research has shown that the very systems put into place to ensure child safety and reduce outcomes such as poverty have place more youth at risk “Homelessness and its associated psychosocial effects continue to plague American urban centers. Especially troubling are suggestions that foster care functions as a pipeline to the streets for older adolescents leaving the system. Surveys of service providers and homeless populations suggest that young people exiting foster care have difficulty securing stable housing” (Fowler, Toro, & Miles, 2009, p.1).
I would be a good representative for the National Junior Honor Society. I believe this because of two things. The first reason is that I get exceptional grades. I try my best to maintain my average over 95. I do not fret when I get a bad grade. Instead I think of it as an opportunity to try even more on the next test or quiz and a chance to learn from my mistakes. The other reason is because I enjoy helping others. I like to help my fellow classmates with their homework if they do not understand it.
The CMS-1500 form, also recognized as the Healthcare Financing Administration, and the Professional Paper Claim Form, is used for reimbursement from several government insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare.
Your Ruger pistol is the perfect revolver for concealment and protection. It has the power you need, and it is small enough to conceal easily. However, because it is small, you may want to customize it to make it more comfortable. This is especially true if you have larger hands. Thankfully, you will find it easy to create a custom SP101 as there are many parts and accessories available for this model of gun.
Being able to take in the information that is presented and being able to apply it is a crucial tool that is needed in order to be successful. One of the assignments that we were given in ENGR 1000 was that we were tasked to see what type of learner we were. Everyone has their own unique way of learning and I myself feel that I am more of a visual learner than verbal. There are eight different characteristics on a scale from one to ten which means there can be fifty thousand and four hundred different possibilities. This is why it is important to know and understand what type of learner you are because you are only one of that fifty thousand and four hundred. You could and are very likely spinning your wheels trying to learn things the wrong way if you truly don’t understand how you learn. I can read a book cover to cover and at the end, sometimes I could not tell you what I have just read. After taking that survey I was surprised at how much I was heavily leaning only on visual and not verbal. Just this one alone was putting me at a disadvantage in my education because I was only really taking in half of what I could be. I have started to rely different learning styles so that I can be more we

As the emission control industry has grown in recent years, several non-governmental association have emerged around it. A prominent special interest groups for auto emissions in the U.S. is the Manufacturers of Emission Controls Association (MECA). MECA, a non-profit organization, offers technical information on the efficiency of emission control technologies in automobiles. The technical information provided by MECA is often used by North American regulatory bodies to evaluate regulatory initiatives. Since its establishment in 1976, MECA's mission has been to assist the government in creating effective state and national emission control policies that benefit the public health as well as the environmental quality, and industrial progress
