Tom’s POV: Mianite had been talking for weeks about someone new arriving, but he wouldn’t tell us who. Tucker, Sonja, and I had taken turns waiting for the newcomer; and I had been stuck with the night shifts. I shifted on the rock as another wave hit the beach below me. I sighed and lied down on the rock; it was wet from the larger waves. There was no one coming, Mianite had lied to us. I was about to leave when I heard someone moan below me. I figured it was just Tucker or Sonja pranking me, “Go away Tucker, aren’t you two supposed to be banging each other?” “Who’s Tucker?” An unfamiliar voice asked. I immediately sat up and jumped off my rock and onto the sand. I landed next to a small, pale man who was lying on the sand. I offered him my hand, “Welcome your face to the world of Mianite! May I ask your name?” “Jordan …show more content…
I don't want to follow a bitch." Jordan chuckled; he was looking around. It wasn't a really long walk, but Jordan was slow; probably hurt or tired, or both. I should take him to Dec. "Is that everything? Like, why are a man and a fox making out over there?" He pointed to Tucker and Sonja making out underneath a tree. I laughed; Tucker was dressed in bright colors, almost like a child. He claimed that he was dressed up like a guy named "Ash Ketchum", but I had never heard of him. Sonja was always dressed up like a fox, she had a fox hoodie (with fox ears) and a tail that clipped on to her pants. It was how they showed up, but unlike me they liked to only wear that. Tucker occasionally wore t-shirts and jeans, but Sonja would complain and make him change back. "That's Tucker, and Sonja. That's how they showed up, I don't know what they were doing and they don't remember. Or they just don't want to tell. Sonja never changes but don't be surprised if you ever see Tucker lounging around with a grey shirt on and some darker jeans on." "Did they wash up here
“I’m gonna go after Sarah!” Luke screamed over the noise and without second thought, he took off running. My eyes went wide as he was immediately lost in the crowd of walkers.
A young girl shook nervously at the sight of the wide tides of her family's privately owned ocean side. She herself had lived in this familiar place for over eleven years... Why was she so scared to do this? She sighed underneath her shaky breath and made her way towards the waves, dragging her surfboard closely with her. When she reached the area she was greeted by her father, A strong but yet still a goofy professional surfer. When he saw his daughter has finally pushed back her peers, he smiled and walked towards her. "How ya doin' pumpkin?" she stared at him with glassy eyes before replying."I'm fine, I guess." her voice was dry. The man simply shook his head and bent down towards her. "Amber." He said with a serious tone, "I want you to go out and surf like you mean it... Just
Mia in uncomfortable in her hair color being that her parents and little brother have blonde hair, but Mia is a brunette. Mia says, “I look nothing like the rest of my family. They are all blond and fair and I'm like their negative image, brown hair and dark eyes. […] Sometimes I did feel like I came from a different tribe.” Mia often says how different she is from her family. The differences makes Mia feel like an outsider in her own family. But when Mia wears a blonde wig for Halloween, Mia says “Maybe it was the blond wig, but this was the first time I ever thought I actually looked like any of my immediate family.” The wig allows her to pretend to be someone else, someone who fits in not just at school but within her family. As a blonde,
Without another word, Audra kicked off her shoes and ran down to the seaside. She lifted her skirts and marched into the waves up to ankle height. She shrieked at the sea water’s chilliness. Maxen stood a mere few feet away, right at the water’s edge, watching with care.
I was a desperate mother looking for any way to break down a brick wall and regain custody of my son Demitri. You see I had taken a big step and left a horrible relationship knowing that my son deserved a healthy more stable home. In doing this all of my fears became reality my son was taken by the courts because Demitri's biological father and his mother had made reports against me winning full custody of my son. Heart broken i tried to find some way to know how he was doing make sure he was ok since i had no communication with him through them. I called everywhere and any person who might have been able to help me find out how my son was doing. That was the day i reached Michelle Russo and she calmly listened to my rant and spill my heart
Taking a deep breath, he stood up. I could see the beginnings of a tell-tale bulge under the towel and started to feel a deep thrill.
“Bridge To Terabithia 2” is an example of fan fiction because it features many significant differences of Bridge To Terabithia, while still maintaining characters and some parts of the plot from the book. A key similarity between the fan fiction and book is tone. The tone is very depressing and sad:”Both Bill and Judy grew concerned when their normally active, vibrant, and quite talkative daughter became withdrawn and quiet”(5). This quote is stated while the Burke’s were on their way to the hospital Jess was being treated at. Jess is Leslie’s best friend, and after she heard about him she was very mournful and sorrowful. Also, Leslie felt that the hospital had a “Prison atmosphere to it”(5), for it seemed cold and lifeless. When Jess was told

It’s been four years since Mia first met Josh. Mia remembers how on the first day of school she looked into his dark green eyes and knew she wanted him.
"Well...fine! I don 't need you anyway, bitch!" He said, as she walked away. She rolled her eyes and flipped him off. Finally, he turned around and walked away.
Barbara and Charlotte emerged from the shadows at opposite corners of the barn, M22’s in hand. Maxime was nowhere in sight, and Teams Charlie and Delta had not yet arrived. Hiram opened the door of the car and began to climb out. As he stood, Deborah threw her arms around him and almost pushed him back into the driver’s seat. She pulled away for a moment, but Hiram drew her back to him. He kissed her and pulled her in tight against him once more. Relief filled the gaping void that had been left in his chest since the mess in Saarbrucken.
“Eren! You must escape with Mikasa and them!” Hannes grabbed a young Eren’s shoulders. His grip was so strong, the boy in captive couldn’t help but wince in pain. He let the words of his uncle sink in and then he quickly shook his head. He looked at the fire behind his uncle. He heard the screams and the flickering of wood as houses burned. He then looked at his child companions behind him, four figures. Up in the sky, the moon shone so bright, ignorant to the events occurring under it. The boy continued to shake his head in disbelief.
“Fifty Shades of Grey” by E.L. James, “Gabriel Trilogy” by Sylvain Reynard, and “After” by Anna Todd, are books that sold millions of copies all over the world. What do they all have in common? They were all once fanfictions. But, these are just some of the vast amount of books that were originally fanfiction. Because of these books, fanfiction has been getting a lot of attention over the last year. If you didn’t know what fanfiction was before, there is no way you could ignore it now. Some people may say that it’s just a childish trend that obsessed teens have just started doing. Or people may praise it, and say it’s the start of a new era. But, let me tell you, fanfiction has been around for a very long time. It’s hard to pinpoint where
“Bridge to Terabithia 2” is an example of fan fiction because it was written as a spoof, not by the original author, but a fan -hence the name fan fiction. In the fan fiction, the author creates a new ending, of Jess dying instead of Leslie. In the original, that didn’t happen. Another example is a new character, Mr. Mason. The writer gives Mr. Mason a role of guardian angel, who comes to take away Jess, as he says, “‘Now, if you will follow me we have another journey ahead of us’” (8). This is implying the afterlife, which Jess has to travel to. In the fan fiction, Jess: “... was placed in a medically induced coma” (5). He didn’t go on the museum trip, instead traveling to Terabithia by himself. The rope broke, as it would’ve with Leslie.
During the summer I could do a five-week writing workshop on Harry Potter fan fiction. The first week we would start by discussing how to write fan fiction. I would start by telling them the needed to read the seven books in the Harry Potter series. I would also have them read up on the fictional world. This would include fan sites and other books that support the main Harry Potter series. Finally, I would explain to them that there is good fan fiction and bad fan fiction. I would allow them the week to explore the fictional world and read fan fiction. They would need to choose how much they read of the Harry Potter series that week. Some people have more time than others over the summer to read.
The sun’s rays glisten across the water as my family and I lie on the golden sands of the beach to relax. Seagulls and other families are scattered around us along the length of the beach. My mom, my sister, and I lie next to each other, listening to the waves crashing against the ocean bank.
