1. Jesus did a lot of different things in his early ministry. He traveled from Jerusalem, around places like Samaria and Judea. He selected the people who were to be His disciples, like in Matthew 14:18-22, where He told Simon Peter, Andrew, James son of Zebedee, and his brother John to come follow Him. Jesus proclaimed and taught the gospel to a lot of people, and healed their illnesses, like in Matthew 14:23-25.

2. There were two types of miracles that Jesus performed. One of the types is spiritual miracles. These were the things Jesus did that involved spiritual matters, such as when He cast out demons in Mark 5:1-13, and whenever He forgave someone's sins, like in Luke 7: 11-17. The other type was physical miracles. These were His physical doings, like in Matthew 8:5-13 where He healed illnesses in people. Faith was important for Jesus to be able to minister to a person because it meant that they believed in Jesus Himself, and didn't only come to Him for the gifts He gave. The people who came to Him without faith didn't want Jesus or His spiritual gifts, they only wanted His healing. People without faith were worldly. Those who came to Him with Faith wanted Jesus Himself, and His spiritual salvation and forgiveness, because they believed that He was the son of God.
