The purpose of a movie is not just for entertainment. A movie is supposed to be something you can forever remember and learn from; a good movie should always end with some kind of lesson. If you’re watching a movie without these qualities then what's really the point? The movie Fantastic Mr Fox taught me that stealing is bad and that all actions, whether good or bad, have consequences. Even though this is what i got out of the movie, this movie is actually so complex that i believe there are at least five different things you can learn from it. Anyways, here goes the amazing review for Fantastic Mr. Fox.
There are hard times for everyone, men and women, but in this movie we’re focusing on a Fox's hard life. Mr. Fox, our main character,

There are violent scenes with the birds being killed and how they should be killed being explained and there’s a few other scenes with both physical and verbal violence. I personally think he should've been more careful with this but then again we have disney movies that are doing way worse.
As for the pros, I think the animation of the stop motion film was nearly flawless. This is the type of movie that you can kind of relate to because you can connect a person to someone you know or maybe even to yourself. For example, mr. Fox’s son, Ash, reminds me of myself because of his attitude towards his family and his constant need for approval. The lesson behind the whole movie wasn't thrown out into the streets naked, exposed for everyone to see, which sort of made it special. I feel like you had to really pay attention to the characters and the story at the time to really get it (which made me watch it at least three times again).
Overall, this movie was super complex to me, which is something you rarely see in movies today. There was a mystery and an excitement throughout the movie that didn't seem to go away, nor did i want it to. Even though it was an intriguing movie, i still think that it's not meant to be a kids movie. The concept of him stealing and not really getting into as much trouble as he could is kind of teaching a bad thing. To me, its making them think
Overall I found the movie to be quite interesting and exciting at times but a bit slow in others. The story itself was very clear to me and didn’t cause any confusion. It had a good flow also, just as you were on the verge of falling into boredom with a scene they switched it up on you to keep you
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, however, I did have some small issues with the film. The movie was entertaining with a fun plot line and quality
This Movie also shows viewers how to be good sports although they encounter with one of the higher class kids of their neighborhood of course Benny and his team win and celebrate their victory by going to the local carnival and end up doing the most stupid things any of them could think of. Other things i also liked about this movie is that they worked as a team and help each other when needed also how most of them still were friends when older. Things i don't like about the Movie is how they can be very hard headed when it came to getting Smalls Ball back Smalls says that instead of trying to sneak up on the beast maybe asking Mr.Mertle if he can get the ball back Squints tells Smalls that Mr.Mertle was one of the meanest old man ever, but that wasn't the case
Some of the positives things occurring in the movie were the effects of the film score and the alternate ending. Film score is original music written to specifically accompany a film. There is a distinct relationship between the mood and setting and the score of the movie. In the movie, whether it was a dramatic event or an action, such as the scene where the Salamander is racing to its destination, there is a soundtrack of sound effects or music that enhances
Betsy Sharkey is the author of this article and does an extremely wonderful job at describing the plot and characters of the movie. Readers are able to tell that Sharkey really enjoyed the movie and its “massive collision of subversive humor, hyper-kinetic energy, mind-jangling design, spinning colors and about 15 million Legos,” (Sharkey 2014). Everything that Sharkey had to say about the movie was in favor of it rather than anything critical. The tone that Sharkey uses throughout the article is casual but enticing! She uses very vivid descriptions of the storyline that make it extremely compelling. The tone is quite persuasive in regards to supporting the fact that you should see the movie. The overall detail from this review was well above what’s expected in my opinion. Sharkey not only points out the major joys of this movie, but also the tiny parts that make it so enjoyable, “Sometimes it's the simplest things that bring such pleasure -- Neeson's Bad Cop/Good Cop, for example. With a quick spin of his head, he goes from fearsome to friendly and becomes a more arresting character for it,” (Sharkey 2014). The level of detail used in this review adds to the strong urgency to see it! I believe this review is extremely useful if you are looking into seeing the movie as a teenager or adult. Instead of having an appeal to parents like the Amazon review, this review is meant for younger and older adults who still let their inner child
Although the dialogue was clever it got a little boring and not exciting at times. It did a brilliant job at using lighting, music and cinematography to better get the message across. If you watch the movie over and over, you would probably learn something new you never noticed about the film before. Almost every scene had some kind of hidden meaning which is good if you watch it a lot. The movie did a good job giving the American Dream it’s distorted truth. You can work every day of your life, but you’ll never be happy unless you have the right relationships and people you care
This movie had effective scenes that went along the storyline. The scenes were successful at showing the importance of every scene by making it powerful. It made it powerful by giving the scenes different types of emotion that went along at what it was supposed to give. If it was a joyous scene then they would make the music cheerful and the light would give an gleeful type of feeling. Even when George was staring out of the box cart, you saw different types of emotion that affected the scene of the storyline in a valuable
Overall, the movie was very good and I found that I liked it better than the book towards the end. The movie showed more emotions and moods that the book wasn't capable of showing, which helped enhance the story in
As a kid friendly show, I could indulge in the silliness of the story line and some of the jokes, but it had a strong enough message that I felt I left the theater with something to think about and debate. It was relatable and really made me think about when I was Bruce and Violet and didn’t feel like I fit in. I really wish that this was something that my parents could have taken me to when I was younger. This is a show that I would recommend to anyone who wants to laugh but also be able to reflect on the world around
Overall, I enjoyed the film. My biggest issue was the formatting of the film and the medium that it was available. It would have been more enjoyable had the film not been broken up into segments that needed to load. Had the movie been available on DVD or in one longer segment, it would have been easier to watch. The continuous breaks in the action of
It made really made me think if what the characters are doing morally wrong. Both cops handle justice a different way and no one taught Jake that the world is cruel, and twisted. This eventually causes the climactic intense ending, and will keep your eyes glued to the screen. Although I enjoy this movie there is somethings that could be better. For instance the movie has a slow start. I’m not going to lie, I did skip a bit to the ride along, for it was boring. I also would make a scene more believable, but I digress because if it was the movie wouldn't be able to continue. Overall this movie contained major keys to make it interesting.
It also shows that on the road to living your best life, sometimes people or things can get left behind. Change is good, people have different goals, and even though it can hurt, sometimes you have to leave someone behind in order to move both of your lives forward. Although every character began with the same goal and only two actually reached it, each character’s ending felt fitting and fulfilling. There’s more than one path to happiness and success in life, and this movie showed it well.
The movie is adventure packed and dramatic, overall making an enduring movie. I would rate the movie 4.5 out 5 stars, because of the relatableness between the movie, the book, and your personal feelings. There are
This semester I learned a lot about writing in English 151. It has been a roller coaster ride with these essays for me this semester. I learned step by step how to write a good essay and how to have your readers be engaged in what you’re trying to tell them. Each essay I did has taught me something valuable I can take to the next level of English. I feel as if as the semester went by I did not take my writing that seriously and that reflected in my grades I received in each essay. It made me a better student and writer and it will reflect next semester. In this essay, I will reflect on what I learned throughout this semester that you should apply in your writing when you begin English 151.
Kelly Kaasa Theater Ms. Williams I have chosen to do my director analysis assignment on Mr. John Hughes. John Hughes was born in Lansing Michigan to John Hughes Sr., who worked in sales, and his mother who volunteered for charity. Most of his first twelve years growing up was spent in Grosse Pointe, Michigan where he felt his title was the “quiet kid”. When 1963 came around Hughes’s family moved to a suburb outside of Chicago Illinois, here was where Hughes attended Glenbrook North High School.
