life. Challenging a belief or an idea has never been effective for me in life until halfway through the second semester of Junior year of high school because it will be my last year and then the start of college and my future. The end of my Sophomore year was the worst time of my entire life and the main cause of my beliefs and ideas of myself. Depression hit me hard and fast like being in the two minute and twelve-second knockout boxing match with Muhammad Ali, but gratefully received help from
state, a completely different climate, school, and worst of all: completely different people. Much of my freshman and sophomore years were spent trying to establish new relations with my classmates. By sophomore year, my social life had improved and had a stable group of friends. Despite securing relationships socially, I was irresponsible in my schooling. In the middle of sophomore year, I faced an education crisis. My first semester GPA added up to a mere 2.8. Some blame could be placed on being
Middle School. Freshman year was the “exploring/adventure” year, finding where each classes were, what activities/clubs were offered at this school and many more. Freshman year went quickly and then Sophomore year came up. Sophomore year was probably the least stressful year in high school but from Sophomore year my family and friends started asking me the scariest question “What are you doing after high school, which career? That question was stuck in my head from the day they asked. I started thinking

Sophomore year, I joined my High School's division of Kiwanis Key Club. The club prided itself with their devotion to community service. I thought that the club would be a great vehicle for me to assist my community while creating and expanding my relationships. However, I was greatly disappointed in the club my Sophomore year. There appeared to be little leadership present, so hardly any community service successfully took place. I made it my goal to gain a leadership position and turn the club
The first Pop’s concert we were getting ready and learning the dance and songs seemed so much fun, but I wasn’t able to attend because I left to Washington D.C for a week. So I enjoyed my freshmen year and decided to do choir again my sophomore year. My Sophomore year was more different, I had idea of what I was doing. I met new people, made new friends which till this day I’m still friends
It was the last last few days of summer before I started my Sophomore year of high school. My freshman year I applied and ran to be Sophomore class president, and I won. Before the start of school SGA (Student Government Association) had the responsibility to welcome and show new students around the school. While showing and bonding with new students I meet two new sophomores students named Ethan and Olivia. Ethan was a very attractive young man who was six feet and had nice dark hair, that was swooped
It only took me until my sophomore year of High School to figure what hard work and determination really meant, but man did I wish that I had learned it years before. All throughout High School I was a multisport athlete, I played everything you could think of, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Golf, Tennis, Volleyball. I excelled at each and every sport, and I even earned many achievements and awards for each sport. With all that being said my Freshman year did not go so well. I barely showed at practice
Balance is one thing I did not have my sophomore year of college. I struggled due to a multitude of things and did not find my way out till it was already too late. That fall was my first semester with numerous difficult classes, my first year being completely active in my sorority, I was co-captain of the dance team, had my first job, and my first boyfriend. The semester started fine with my classes being challenging but nothing I did not think I could handle. Saying no to my sorority was a difficult
With the age requirement being lowered to 16 the negatives may out weigh the postive. Todays teens are overwhelmed with their daily decisions. Whether it be which school to apply for, or what career path to follow, the average American Sophomore already has enough on their plate. Leaving a decision that could determine the progression or regression of the country shouldn't be left to those still unable to grasp the benefits or consequences. Most citizens that fall into the youngest
