I felt a hard push on my side. Slowly I opened my eyes. I just see the sun’s rays creep through my windows and flash me right in my eyes. Slowly I got used to the light. I finally got up and could open my eyes fully. I hear my mom yell get up it’s your first day of school. I Got up took a shower, got dressed, ate my breakfast, and I was out the door on my way to school. I live in Ohio where it usually rains a lot and today it was a very sunny beautiful day. I got to school. It was my first day of middle school. I was very excited. This day was gonna be a great one. I didn’t know were my first class but I knew my first period class was with Andrew a good friend of mine who I have known since kindergarden. He came to the open house in the …show more content…
When we got to gym I saw a big open Gym with a free open area a basketball, court and a court to play soccer the only thing I was worried about was that the courts were right next to each other I knew that would cause an issue because Gabriel was in this gym class. I went to play soccer with Andrew and of course gabriel went to play basketball. Andrew had the ball we were just kicking it around doing cool tricks. Andrew being the show off he is did his famous trick he always does but can never actually do it. He always fails at it. Of course he failed it this time and of course the ball had to go right next to the basketball court. I ran to get it and I see something coming in my direction. I look up and it was a basketball it landed right next to the soccer ball. I see something coming in the direction of the ball. It was Gabriel. He was running towards me and quickly. Me knowing where he came from i had this feeling that he was gonna take his basketball, smack the soccer ball out my hand, and kick it as hard as he can across the gym. So I quickly thought to myself what if i do it to the basketball before he does it to my ball. So I took the basketball and kick it as hard as I can across the gym right in front of Gabriel. He says. What the heck man. What’s your problem. Why did you do that?. I did it because you were gonna do it to me. No I wasn’t why did you think I was gonna do that?I thought that because of the school you came from. It
When the first day came, I arose to the sun shining through the blinds in my room. As I sat up, I felt the butterflies circling in my stomach. I was nervous to start fifth grade at a new school, and have new friends and teachers. I quickly ran to my closet and pulled out my freshly ironed jumper.
Today was Thursday and I was dreading going to school because I use to think life of a 5th grader was STRESSFUL l . And I wasn’t ready to be a 6th grader no time soon. Walking down the cold hallways of Hancock Elementary staring at the people I called friends and others I didn’t know. Being the first one in my class like always I was very quiet and shy and i didn’t talk much and I liked it that way , Waiting for my best friend Tatyana to get to class so I wouldn’t
That first day of school that morning was filled with nerves, and heading into the school year. I was ready as usual and as soon as the bus came, waved to my parents as usual. The bus ride
Dalia and I were in our final round to see who was the champion, I already knew I was done for. The score was 15 to nine. I started the game, I saw Dalia race towards me like a horse. I started to feel a sense of uneasiness as she closed in on me. She was trying to steal the ball from beneath me, but I didn’t budge, determined to at least make one more shot. I glanced at my mother sitting on the porch for a quick second when I heard a sudden pop from beneath me. I thought nothing of it since I thought it was the soccer ball’s plastic that made the noise. My sister stole it from me and I wasn’t amused nor surprised when she made another shot towards the net. That was game
Back in high school, I went through a dark time. Those stressful days from the very first day of school caused me to fail the seventh grade, but it changes me into to the person I am today. The fight that could have been avoid lead to my expulsion from school. Friends become enemies, and enemies become friends. A quote that changed how I saw the world and, the man that believe in me.
When I woke up the next morning, I was extremely tired. I immediately wanted to go back to bed. But, I couldn’t miss my first day. So, I got dressed, ate breakfast, and brushed my teeth. My brother and I grabbed all of our things and went to our bus stop. We waited for the bus for about 10 minutes. During those 10 minutes I became very nervous. I thought to myself, Is it really the first day of school already? The summer went by too fast. I was really nervous to get on the bus and go to school. The bus finally got to our stop.
It was a sunny summer day and football camp, was going to start. The week before I was preparing for it. I bought gloves and cleats. I love football, but I can’t play it because I am too short and I can’t catch. I knew in the next couple of weeks I would be at camp.
On August 14, 2015 it was my first day at FHS. My alarm turned on at 6:30 a.m and the sun was shinning through my window, plus the smell of fresh air blew through my window. As, I was about done getting ready, my sister as if I wanted breakfast, she made, french toast with strawberries and bananas on the side. Knowing that the bus was arriving, I asked my sister to drop me off at school, because I was scared and nervous. I honestly didn't know what to expect, for my first day of school.
My heart was pounding and I couldn't sit still. It was the first day of school. While summer had just reached its peak, here I was at summer school. Thankfully, I had never failed a class. I just wanted to get a bit ahead in high school. It was a decision that I was beginning to regret. I could still be sleeping in my cozy bed at home, but yet I chose to take summer school, and here I was. I was in my dad's car, it was precisely 8:24 and class started at 8:30. We were parked in front of the school and I had no idea where to enter from or where to go. My stomach was full of butterflies and I was already filled with fear. After my dad called the school and found the door they had specified, it was time to go. As I was getting out of the car, my dad yelled "Have a nice day!", "Easy for him to say," I thought. Not only did I not know anybody in the school, I was sure that 95% of the kids in summer school would have failed the class previously, leading me to question their friendliness and behavior. In addition, I was also sure that everyone there already had freshman year under their belt, meaning they would be familiar with the school. I was the odd one out, fresh out of 8th grade and not even a freshman. "At least I will know the building when high school actually starts," I thought as I walked to the door.
I woke up but I couldn’t take the dream out of my mind. I read my prayers and after that I helped my mom in preparing the breakfast. We all had breakfast at 7:30. My mom and dad got ready to leave to their jobs. After a few minutes, my parents left for work. My school started at 8:30, but I left home at 8:15, because I walked to school and it was not far away. So, I started walking to school. The weather was very good on that day. The sky was cloudy and the wind felt so good. It was almost summer, but the weather wasn’t hot.
It 's funny what it 's you remember as a child. I don 't remember my third birthday or my first day of school, I don’t remember running around the playground or what my favorite food was. But I remember very clearly the day my cat died. It 's been 10 years since, and still the most memorable memory of my childhood.
It was an early school morning and I was so excited to get to my first day of school. Just thinking about it made me feel bubbly and smile. Coming back to school and seeing all my friends who I haven’t talked to in two months made my little third-grader self feel so delighted. I ran downstairs to make my daily bowl of cereal for breakfast. As I opened the brown wooden cabinet I reached all the way to the back of the cabinet with confidence
“The sun is a daily reminder that we too can rise again from darkness, that we too can shine our own light.” S. Ajna The first day of school was exciting. and had practiced I had new classes and was excited to meeting new people. The day went by fast, but I did not really make any new friends. As the months went by I started talking to other people in my classes and that was how I started making new friends. Junior was starting off great. Because I did not do great my Sophomore year on grades I dedicated all my time to school and decided to work even harder to make sure I would do better than the year before. I was so proud of myself when I ended first semester with 4 A’s and 2 B’s. I did so good first semester and I was really proud
Ring, ring, ring, the school bell goes off. “My first day of school and I’m already late I tell myself.” As I run up to the school doors I can see all of the teachers closing their doors ready to start the day. Luckily my class is still open and I run inside throw my things in my locker and make it to my classroom just as my teachers closes her doors. It was just like any normal year but that’s about to change.
Harper woke up full of energy and barely noticed the pain in her sore foot as she wrestled with her clothes under the covers before hopping to the bathroom on her crutches. The other girls in the dorm started to stir as their alarms went off and Harper – who always set her alarm ten minutes earlier than everyone else’s – was pleased that she was first in line for the bathroom.
