I woke up with a grin on my face, ready for the long but exciting day. Today could change my whole middle school career. So many questions. Where to sit at lunch, where to go for classes, and will I be able to beat the intimidating bell. Today was my first day ever of middle school.
I got out of bed and threw on the clothes I had set out the night before. I made my bed, brushed my teeth, did my hair. It was just like any other day. I ran to the kitchen where i met my half asleep brother. He was bragging that he didn't have to go to school and i did. I wasn't hungry, but i forced myself to eat a waffle before the school bus got to our house. As the garage door raddled open, a bright stream of sunlight hit my face. The sound of the birds chirping and cars driving by greeted me as i waited outside. The ground was wet from a summer morning dew. Except, it wasn't summer anymore. In the corner of my eye, I see a long yellow school bus coming around the block. Its brakes screech and the doors fling open. I climb on board, only to realise that i am one of the first people on. I find a seat and sit back in a comfy position. After a few stops, I hear some familiar voices. We talk about our worries and concerns for a while but then we arrive.
My heart starts pumping and my legs are shaking. I am one of the last people to exit the bus. My first steps off i see the flags waving high in the air with pride, the principle waving with confidence, and lots of new faces. I enter into the

Most people remember one memory from middle school that stands out from the others. For me that would have to be my first day of middle school. I was excited because of a new school year and all the new people I was going to see. But at the same time I was also very sad because I had really enjoyed my summer and now it was over. Also, I was extremely nervous as I did not know where all the classes and more importantly how I would fit in. After all of these emotions, my first day of middle school was my favorite middle school memory.
I feel sick when I wake up because my nerves are getting the best of me. I get up and pick out my cutest outfit. I'm scared that the people at this school won't like it because who knows what they'll say. As I'm getting ready I daydream about what could happen today at school. My father has already left for work by the time I was ready to go. My mother kissed my cheek as she handed me my lunch telling me little motivational things in my ear. I walk down to my corner to wait for my bus to come. There's a
It was that time of the year ,which was back to school, it was the day ,I got to meet my 8th grade teacher ,I was sweating and had butterflies in my stomach. It was coincidence to find my friend Sheyla at the parking lot. Sheyla said she has met her teacher ,but needed a few more supplies ,so she was just back from getting her last supplies. Sheyla’s family went with us to met my teacher ,and I was glad to see her because it was quite a while since I last saw her. Later, after we left Berkmar grounds,I went to Sheyla’s house and we hangout the rest of the day. It was the first day of school, usually I would be feeling nervous, but today I wasn't ,which was good because I didn't want have sweating hands and a racing heartbeat. I arrived at Berkamr and went straight to homeroom ,I found my seat and waited. My first day at school wasn't to bad because the only thing

Everybody is nervous on the first day of middle school, especially moving from an elementary school because ever thing is new and clean, meaning you don’t what to expect and the unexpected. Well that's because I’m here , to tell things might expect and things you expected but were confused about.
It was the very first day of first grade. I starred at the dork across the room. He had glasses, a goofy bowl haircut, and a sweater vest. I recall thinking to myself I would never be friends with him, just look at him, he 's such a geek. Half of the school year had gone by and I made sure I never talked to him, not even one time. I had kept this record going for a while until one day I decided to take my dog for a walk. Walking him through the neighborhood, I noticed a couple of kids playing inside of a parked boat outside a house. To my surprise it was him and his little brother.
Friends come and go like the waves of the ocean. One minute they’re all over you and the next they start to fade.” Be with those who help your being,” these are words spoken by the famous poet Jalal Ad-din Muhammad Rumi. This quote is basically saying to surround yourself with people who benefit you, and help you become a better person.
My alarm woke me up with a start. Slowly but surely, I rolled out of my bed and slid on some jeans and a t-shirt. Then, descended down the stairs to find my mom lounging on the couch drinking coffee. Then I headed toward the kitchen to make breakfast and before I knew it it was time to go to the bus stop.
“Don’t be late for school,” my mom said. “I know, I know,” I replied as I looked over my school supplies list to make sure I had everything. Today was my first day of middle school. I was so nervous! Would middle school be hard? Would there be a lot of homework? What would 6th grade be like? I had so many questions that were left unanswered. I looked at the time. It was 8:00. My bus would be coming at 8:12 so I had to go. Putting on my shoes, I said goodbye to my mom and left for the bus stop. I saw other students leaving their houses to get to the bus stop. I wondered whether any of them would be in my grade. Since I moved into my new house, I hadn’t met any of my neighbors. Perhaps one of them would be my friend by the end of the day. When the bus came, I quickly got on. I looked at the students getting onto the
My day started like every other day. Laying in bed and unwinding until you have the energy to actually get out of bed and be productive. Except, it really wasn’t. It was August of 2014, beginning of the school year. I had lived on a street called Larsen Lane nearly all of my life, and had gone to the same school all my life, too. We should’ve been getting ready for school, but our parents decided we should take the day off. This kind of unwinding was different because my brother and I had slept on just mattresses; our bed frames had already been packed. Our room was just plain. The blue walls had stayed here ever since we had got them painted years ago, but that was it. The stickers we collected on our sliding glass doors to our closet were all taken off. I laid there, bland and lifeless, on the verge of tears even, thinking about the choice that could set me up for middle school. Our mom settled herself in bed with us, comforting us so we would couldn’t get too overwhelmed by the emotions of leaving behind our old life.
It was a good day, I stood in front of the door so I could be picked up by my mom. There was a kid, James, he was much taller than me at the time, most people were taller than me, but I didn’t mind. James came down the hallway and was staring straight at me with a devilish look in his eyes and a smirk on his face. I was holding a couple of picture books that we had to bring that day, I really enjoyed reading them. He was approaching me, I didn’t think anything of it, all I was doing was minding my own business. He stood in front of me with his back straight and he was staring into me, like he was establishing dominance, like a lion in the jungle. In one quick motion he snatched all of my picture books straight out of my hands, I stood there speechless, I hated confrontation. Then he held those books over me to the point where I couldn't reach them. I jumped and jumped but I couldn’t reach those books, I repeatedly said “Give them back!” and he responded with “Just take them then”, he knew I couldn’t.. By then a teacher saw us and reclaimed my books from James, but I was already in tears. I spent the rest of the day sobbing and trying to understand how someone could be so heartless.
BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! I had heard my alarm on my phone go off, quickly trying to turn it off I picked up my phone and finally silenced its foul screeching. Today was the big day, the one I had been waiting for all summer, not to say my summer was drab but I did need a change of pace eventually, but today was my first day of middle school. I set my alarm for much earlier then I realised was necessary seeing how I can be ready in five minutes time. I stood up leaving my cozy bedroom to get to the cold kitchen, I shivered, I saw my mom making coffee, as per usual.
Today was the day I said to myself as I got out of the bed to turn my alarm off. It was time for me to start getting ready for my very first day of middle school at Holy Trinity Catholic Middle School. I quickly ran to the bathroom to take a shower and to brush my teeth. After I got out of the bathroom, I went to my closet and put on my school uniform. The school uniform was a dark blue- collard shirt and some khaki shorts. After putting on my uniform, I ran downstairs to the delicious smell of pancakes and eggs cooking for breakfast. When I walked into the kitchen, I saw a plate with a stack of pancakes covered in maple syrup and some scrambled eggs. As I sat down to eat I realized I had forgotten to grab my backpack out of the closet. When I went to grab my backpack out the closet I noticed that it was kinda heavy. When I looked inside, it was filled with binders, papers, and other school utensils that mom put inside it. After I grabbed my backpack I ran downstairs so I could finish eating breakfast before I caught the bus for school. When I finished my breakfast, my mom said it was time for me to catch the bus for school. So I threw my plate away and ran outside to the garage to hop into my mom’s car. Before we pulled out my mom said ‘‘Mitchell do you have all your stuff for your first day of school?’’ I said ‘‘Yes mom I have all my stuff for school.’’ My mom then backed out of the driveway and proceed to then take me to the bus top, which at the Siskey YMCA, which was
