This year in 8th grade I didn't only learn what was required by the curriculum, but also other things. The theme for my 8th grade year is growing up, moving on and things coming to an end. Lines, tunes and beats of the song describe my theme. The first example of why this song describes my 8th grade year is the tune throughout the song. The tune throughout the song except for the ending is happy and upbeat. My 8th grade year was pretty happy. Coming to school on the first day was great. We
want to do when I grow up. 8th grade just happened to be my very first year ever playing an organized sport. I also made starter for all but one game that season. On the academic side, my 8th grade year was one of my worst school years ever. 9th grade however, had me turning over a new leaf of academic excellence. The first way that I believe that I have grown this year is through athletics. Year to year I saw infinite improvement from my okay 8th grade year. In 8th grade I started at DT. This year
I began 8th grade year with a different mindset and mood than all my previous years at school. It was my last year of middle school. This period of time would never come back, and I had to make the best use of it. There would be no more time left to chill with friends, or any time to relax after this year. But in our school, 8th grade meant something else as well. Every year the 8th grade went on an overnight New York City trip. This 8th grade trip changed a bit every year, the most drastic change

To increase staff morale by 10% by May 2017 as measured by pre and post survey results. As mentioned in previous writings, East Bridgewater
The first day of middle school was a new deal for me. I woke up early, ate, and got dressed. Got in my dad’s car and was on my way to school. Arriving, I was a little nervous because I was gonna be down in the hallways with the big kids. Grabbing my backpack I go inside. Once inside, I meet my friends and go to my locker. Then, I go to my first class which was History with Mr. Gunn. First hour went smoothly and after that was second hour. Heading into Mr. Jung’s class which he taught math. Math was
to work my butt off for about 10 months and graduate from 8th grade. I just hope this year will go by quick, like last year because I want to get this over with. First day of 8th grade was exciting because I get to see my friends and talk to them about my summer which was wild. First day was also nerve wracking because I have to deal with Mrs. Milone and Mrs. Kumar since I’m in honors somehow. I don’t hate them it's just that they have high expectations. Not to mention, but this is my first time being
two family apartment one side owned by my grandma and one side that my mother owned. This was until my mother got sick with breast cancer. So sick that the hospital had to bring in a portable hospital bed and move it inside my grandma’s house so my mother could be watched. I wasn’t that old of age at but i realized and learned more than a child my age should have. The house my mother had was watched by me and my brother but most of the time i just stayed at my grandma house to watch them both.
middle school, the 8th grade year, that was when my life changed into the greatest thing that happened, to the worst life ever. Before I tell you about 8th grade I’m going tell you about 6th and 7th grade. So my 6th grade year was alright because I had friend in school that already went there from elementary school. I also made new friends along the way and I become noticeable as the year went by. I was funny to every teacher that was cool, chill, and laid back also just enjoy life. My favorite classes
Today was my first day with my coop since she was out sick last week, and meeting her students, I began my day observing. The current chapter that the students are starting is part of the SLOW program; therefore the students need to take a pre-test before they begin learning the chapter. This test will be graded but will not count toward the students' grade in the class. Once the students take the post-test, Mrs. Falchek will compare the pre-test grades and the post-test grades. This information
as bright as a muddy shoe. However, this shoe would soon be renewed, as my 8th grade Civics teacher, Mr. Caslavka, polished this shoe. When I first went to Franklin Middle School for 7th grade, I had a horrendous experience because of my dismissive and unhappy attitude towards school. I wanted to give up on school due to my bad grades, and I was prepared to do the same for 8th. Starting 8th grade, I was merely going to my classes repeating the same ritual as last year, listening to the blabbering
