I envision that I will reach my full potential of being successful within 10 years from now. Likewise what Diana Nyad believes, our lives is a never ending journey. My hero and Nyad have a similar belief that age does not determines the persons ability, rather their dedication and motivation to succeed. Therefore, I knew from the experience from my hero and Nyad I can reach my goals right now and later on. Being successful is a continuum of hard work and determination. I know I don't want to stop being successful after 10 years, but I want my major long term goals to be accomplished. First of all to reach my ultimate success I must graduate with a bachelors degree for athletic trainer then a masters degree for physical therapist. I know
The amount of education required for becoming an Athletic Trainer is four years. Programs that provide formal instruction cute injury and illness prevention, first aid and emergency care, assessment of injury and illness, human anatomy and physiology, therapeutic modalities, and nutrition (Athletic Training Association). In order to get a job in colleges or universities, a masters or doctoral degree is necessary. Being an athletic trainer in various sports for over five years, Pete has a great deal of insight and suggestions for someone who is interested in the field. As I am now considering a supplementary degree in athletic training, Pete has been exceptionally helpful in guiding me through that world. As many of my courses in Kinesiology also apply to an Athletic Training degree, he proposes that I get another bachelor’s degree, as it would take only a short period of time. In lieu of that option, he recommends that I begin a master’s program in athletic training upon completion of my current degree. Nevertheless, I must first decide if this career is the proper choice by evaluating the negative and positive aspects.
In Ten years: Plan to be making bank, have a family, have a nice house, and living the dream
At the end of my senior year of high school, I had to make a senior portfolio; part of the project was to write down your goals and make a timetable for where you see yourself in five or ten years. I wrote that my goal in life is to be happy and I skipped the timetable because if my goal is to be happy then I can’t plan out how to obtain that goal. Who knows what will make me happy in five years? Life is constantly changing; nothing actually stays the same. It is important to set goals for yourself, but my idea of goals is different. I want to be happy and my goal is to take whatever smaller steps are necessary to get there.
For as long as I can remember, my profession of choice has been an occupation in the healthcare field. My dad often reminisces on when I was three when he would ask me “What’s your name?” I would reply with “Dr. Peppers.” Well sixteen years later my dream of being a doctor no longer exists, however my goal to become one of the best athletic trainers in the country is burning with passion. Growing up I wanted to be several different occupations like a trauma nurse, an obstetrician, or a physical therapist, before realizing after two years of high school sports medicine that athletic training was my niche. In coming to better comprehend athletic training as a career, my experiences in my classes and clinical here at Winthrop along with my high school experience in sports medicine has shaped my understanding of the athletic training world.
My career goal is to become a Certified Athletic Trainer and work in a hospital or clinical setting, or in a sports medicine or
Ten years from now I see myself with children and a job in a local hospital taking care of children. I see myself with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a certification in Nurse Midwifery. My children may be around five years old and just starting school. I will encourage my children to take school as serious as I have and to do their homework. I eventually want to have at least four children but that choice may change as time goes on. I have no plans other than working and raising a family ten years from now. I plan on starting a retirement account early in life to reduce stress later on in
I am a 28 year old from Killeen, Texas. My goal is to become a Physical Therapist and specialize in sports medicine. My long term goal is to start my own Rehabilitation Center centered on sports medicine physical therapy with services in general Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy as well. This rehabilitation will work as an outpatient and have an intensive outpatient setting if needed. I graduated in 2008 with my Bachelors of Arts in Physical Education from Berea College in Kentucky.
So where do you see yourself in 20 years? Do you think you will be as far as you are? What you do now and act will determine how far in life you will go and the things you will accomplish. I am a loving, determined, and intelligent person. You can accomplish anything you put your mind to even if people tell you that you can’t achieve it just know you can and never give up on your

In 10 years I'll be 30. Hopefully a success when I obtain my degree in Musical Performance. Living with depression isn't a walk in the park, Withing 10 years I hope to also concur my illness and live without the medicine that I take daily.
In ten years I can see myself out of college and working as a marine biologist. I always thought when I was younger that you were obligated to have your whole life planned out by the minute, but I didn't. A year ago I had no idea what I wanted to do when I was older. The fact that I finally have an idea about what I want to do is certainly important to me. I find this career so intriguing because it has to do with three of my favorite things; animals, the ocean, and science. With this career, I not only can provide for my family, but I can have fun while doing it. I will always be obligated to remind myself that by achieving this goal, I must need to work hard now and in the future. Every long term goal needs to have short term goals leading
In addition, we define our goals, experiences and milestones in life by age. For example, by 21, most people will be a graduate, will have worked for five years and then completed a MBA by 28 and started their own company. Marry and settled with kids by 32, work hard for the next 15 years and then begin retirement planning. See, this is how the average person generally planned their life.

Using their skills to help athletes to prevent less injuries, having better flexibility, teaching athletes
