My Life At The School

I was told in the 4th grade that school will get harder and harder, I was told that middle school and high school will get harder than elementry school.

Now excepting we were hopelessly lost, we stopped at one of the many indistinguishable resorts on the strip of Gulf Shores to ask for directions and to our unbelievable luck, we just so happened to have stopped at the correct place and that the resort was connected with the rentable houses. Relieved that we could finally end the ruthlessly long journey, we unpacked in our rooms and went to bed since it was 1:00 in the morning and none of us could sleep in the car when we were all helping search for the right place.

As we pulled up to the massive elementary school building, I begged my mom to let me stay home from school, just once. As usual, she said no. Realizing my attempt to get out of school was futile, I shouldered my backpack, swung open the door, and trudged over to the front door. I would rather be anywhere else than here. For the majority of my life, I attended public schools. It wasn’t rare for me to fail a test or even a whole class. It was because of these failures that I would get even more demotivated and threw away the idea of working hard or completing quality work altogether.

This was quite an experience physically, and emotionally for me. Although my neighbors and I have gone on countless trips together, this one was different. I got up the first morning of spring break and my mom said: “pack your bags we’re going to Florida!” I wasn’t sure

We did a great mass of marvelous things. One of the most amazing things we saw was Hogwarts, the school from Harry Potter. We drove back to the Briscoes’ house and stayed there for about four more days. The fun was not over. The next day we went to Clam Pass Beach in Naples. You would not believe how incredibly soft that sand was! It felt like I was walking on marshmallows! As I watched the sun sink into the ocean I spoke to myself, “This is the best vacation ever.”

The day I was waiting for finally arrived. I could not believe that I was driving to Florida. I could only imagine all the actives and attractions awaiting me there. I knew from the beginning of the car ride that this was going to be a fun and unforgettable vacation. During my vacation to Florida, I was able to visit with my family and friends, visit different interesting places, and enjoy the Florida weather outside.

When it was midnight, we loaded the car and drove through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. We stopped at a few places to grab food or gas. First, we had to go to the airport which was Kci. We had all of our luggage packed and we were ready to get to Florida so we can get on the boat. The day has finally come to go on vacation and my family, and I departed promptly from our house at 4:30 in the morning. Our flight was scheduled for 7 in the morning at Pittsburgh International Airport. We had to arrive there early because all people flying international had to be there two hours before the flight. All of us boarded the flight out to Punta Cana, which is located in the Dominican Republic. I can remember that I was so excited to go, and I was the first on the flight. I am almost positive that it took over three hours to get to the Dominican Republic from Pittsburgh. It was a really long flight to me because I could not wait to get there, and I just wanted to land. Finally, the moment has come, and we landed. When we departed from the plane, they had hula dancers dancing around us, and it was the coolest thing I have ever seen. They had people that would take pictures of you when you got off the plane. My alarm went off at 4:45a.m. As soon as I heard it, I knew I had a long day ahead of me. My parents started screaming and telling everyone to get in the car. My mom, dad, two brothers (Nico and Adrian), grandfather, and I all put our luggages in the car and got seated. At 5:00 a.m. we were out the door and on the road for a 10 hour drive to Seaside, Florida.

It all started on a chilly day in Akron, Ohio. It was on the 6th of June , where my family decided we will go down to Cancun, Mexico Riviera Maya. We were ready to spend the time of our life on that 1 week trip.
