Drawing characters, backgrounds, rims, cars, or trucks spends most of my pastime. In addition to drawing, I would also like to partake classes in Animation. Art directors earned $56,880 in 2000, and the highest 10% made more than $109,440 dollars. Artist work about 40 hours a week, but during busy periods, they work overtime to meet deadlines.
As a 17-year-old about to graduate high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. When I applied for UNF, I listed my major as exploratory since nothing was popping out at me. I discovered my passion what I want to do for the rest of my life halfway through fall semester, even though I still feel ignorant since I have only scratched the surface. After learning about the construction department at UNF, I shadowed a project manager back home and ran for project manager in my pledge class.

Why am I here at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and what do you hope to do when you graduate? I am here at the University Of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to become a college graduate and pursue my goals in my life. UMES has a Pharmacist department and Physician Assistant department, which one I plan to partake in after graduation. I am here to take an advantage on those particular departments to become the future Physician Assistant and or Pharmacist. UMES also have a biology major which I considered due to the fact that biology is required for the career fields in which I am most intrigued by. UMES is also where I received my college credits as a high school student.
It has taken me transferring out of University and suffering from an injury that ended my soccer career for me to finally end up where I need to be. I have always wanted to be in the medical field. As a little girl I was doing it all, from giving my father an IV to packing wounds on our farm animals. I just recently finished CNA I and never have I loved doing something as much as I enjoyed that. I never realized that I was a people person and going through clincals has opened my eyes to that. I can only imagine the impact that CNA II or even completing the ADN program will have on me, especially after the impact CNA I had on me. I am a very hard worker. I am goal oriented and determined to reach my goals. This scholarship would help me worry
Many of my peers view second semester of senior year as a burden that they must endure before they can finally graduate and never step foot in high school again. Although I am eager to graduate and pursue the next chapter of my life as a college student next fall, I hope to take advantage of my final semester of high school. For most of my four years, I have done the requirements for my classes, but not gone beyond them to pursue topics I found interesting or was passionate about. I also have not taken the time to pursue personal goals I have set for myself because I was lacking the motivation to complete them. Through the project I have designed for myself, I hope to pursue the academic passions that I have pushed to the side during high school,
In reviewing my three goals and updating them into the DAPPS system of effective goal writing using the five qualities that DAPPS stands for. Dated is giving all of my goals a time frame. Achievable is when you choose goals that make up grow by attempting to reach the goals. Personal are the goals you come up with that are your own personal goals that you will look back on your life and say I achieved my goals. Positive is how you should view your goals and the wording that you use when you write them. Specific are goals that are measurable, achievable and concrete.
Having recently taken some time out to pursue some personal goals, I am now looking for a role where I can take on new challenges.
My personal goal is that I stop eating fast food so often and start eating healthier foods. Every other week I stop to eat fast food either after school or after work, I usually am too tired to make food that is actually good for you so I just go stop at either Burger King or McDonalds.
While my time at the University Of Houston, I have watched myself grow and change into a stronger and more insightful individual. Exiting high school I wanted nothing more than to peruse a degree in technology, as this was the driving force behind my high school elective classes. When I first entered the University of Houston I started my degree in computer science in the school of mathematics and science, as I grew I noticed that this was close to what I wanted to do, but unfortunately was not a good fit to my personality. I then explored alternate degree options for myself as I felt that I was missing an important part of myself in my work. I then discovered the management of information systems in the school of business, I was excited
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
Persistence is the cornerstone to my character and it fuels my passion towards reaching my goals. Each time I am presented with a new challenge in life it is my persistence that assures my success. Everything I have achieved is due to my willingness to press forward. I have always set ambitious goals for myself because I enjoy the process required to attain them. I have found that hidden in the arduous process of attaining challenging goals is the key to developing self-discipline. I am convinced that I would not have achieved everything I have now without cultivating my will-power. Currently, one of my short-term goals include earing exceptional grades for the Fall 2017 semester. I am one semester away from beginning my upper division
I have successfully earned a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from SUNY, University at Buffalo in September 2013, which opened avenues for me and led me to my first full-time job. Since graduation, I’ve been on a ceaseless path of learning from working as a Quality Engineer for a small manufacturing company called HDM Hydraulics to where I am now as an R&D Quality Engineer for New Product Development at Medtronic. My academic pursuits continued even after starting
Yes, I did. My personal goals align with our group project objectives, which include fulfilling the University of Mary Benedictine values, gaining a better understanding of the effect of socioeconomic has on children’s development, and attaining a better perception of the barrier that under-privileged children face in the acquirement of basic necessities. I provided the service to both the children and adults (food pantry) with my classmates, during which I implemented the Benedictine values and APTA core values. Throughout the interacting with different children, I noticed that how important the family and social support are to early childhood development. There was one single father who brought his son and daughter (both around 3-5 y.o) who could not even say a word at the beginning. After we taught them the games and played with them, they started to talk. I also learned some American games after this project, such as the “cat pull”, water balloon, capture the flag, etc, which will be helpful for me to treat pediatric patients in the future.
Stepping across the stage for my high school graduation in 1996 I thought I knew it all. Everything would come to me served on a platter, twenty-one years later; I am still looking for that platter. My expectations that day were high, my dreams were higher, the only challenge I faced was how I going to get there, honestly, I didn’t know. If my reality was lined up to my expectations and dreams you wouldn’t be reading this.
