The personal goals that I want to achieve as a student of the University of Phoenix are in the education and career areas of my life. In my education, my major goal is to gain knowledge in computers and network administration, eventually culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I also wish to strengthen my grammar and interpersonal skills. In my career, my goal is to either advance from my current career as a paralegal to that of an office manager or to enter into a different career as information technology department administrator. I will use staff and university services in order to achieve my goals in a reasonable timeframe with limited obstacles.
To achieve these goals I plan on using the University of

Once I have received my degree I can use it in conjunction with my Associates degree that I have in Paralegal Studies and would qualify for many legal office manager positions or I could use it to attain a job with the federal government as a paralegal (because the federal government requires any person with a paralegal certificate to also possess a Bachelor's degree). The degree would also allow me to exit the legal field altogether if I wanted to and I would be able to enter Information Technology job market. When developing a time-line for my goals, it is best to divide the goals up into short and long-term goals. Short-term goals to goals that I can reasonably accomplish in the next year and long-term goals will be any goals that will be in excess of a year. Goals that I can reasonably accomplish within the next year are my ability to strengthen and develop my grammar and interpersonal skills. After completing this class, I will be able to take additional courses that will help me grow more confident and develop my writing and speech giving capabilities. Although I don't expect these skills to perfect overnight, I do believe they will be at a higher level in about a year.
My other goals will most likely be long term in length. I feel that I will meet my goal of gaining knowledge in computers and network administration in around a year and a half. Most of the courses that cover these areas are later in the universities
I am a 17-year-old junior at Port Saint Lucie High School. I plan on graduating with high honors and getting scholarships for college. When I graduate, I don’t plan on “taking a break” I plan on enrolling to a four-year college. I want to study in the medical field. I’m planning on majoring in being a nurse, or a registered nurse or a paramedic. My top two choices for colleges are located in Boston Massachusetts which are Northeastern University and Boston University. While being in college I also plan to have a part time job that will help me pay all my expenses.
Because I have identified several tools given to me – and that I am aware of my purpose, I can now set goals. My most immediate short-term goals as a college student include: becoming proficient at balancing my time well, soaking up the information that I am being taught, making great grades, serving my community, traveling and studying abroad, and attaining internships and scholarships.
My main goal at Troy University is to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and management. As I progress through my degree I will gain the skills needed to be successful in my career. Aside from receiving a degree, I plan to graduate with honors.
My Goals is to work with my professors by engaging in research and theorizing on different outcomes and techniques that would help me succeed while in the program. I want to work in a community and get them involved in issues that affect their neighborhood. I want to invest in my own non-for-profit agency in a community or communities that are struggling to sustain. My goal also includes
Life is a continual learning process, which requires a strong method to develop better ways of apprenticeship. Personally, being able to obtain a higher education gives me an opportunity to be better in many ways. Everyone should have any personal goals in life in order to survive, prosper and succeed in every journey that life gives. As for me, being a University of Phoenix student, I hope to achieve all of my goals on which I have been trying to pursue and obtain through the years. They are goals that I believe I need to have to be a successful member of the society, and through attending the university I also hope to gain a more positive image of myself, build my personal growth, along with achieving
There are many things that I hope to accomplish and do when I get older. I want to improve and accomplish different things for myself in my career that I choose, in my material goals, and spiritually. I'm looking at the year of 2009, I will be out of college and be on my feet, hopefully. I have high expectations for myself and hope to accomplish as many of my dreams and goals as I can throughout my life.
As most of my peers, I have been asking myself a question, what do I want out of my life? This question bothers many people, and not only the college students who are trying to figure out the path that will lead them to the comfortable life. One might ask, what is that comfort that we all are striving for? Is it a state of mind or is it some unknown world that we are so eager to enter. It varies from person to person; there are several aspects, such the way were raised, making, of our lives that could influence a person and the future decisions that we’ll make.
Therefore, my personal vision statement for one year after graduation is applying my knowledge and experience from obtaining my bachelor’s degree in management and leadership to become a leader in my organization and utilize my leadership strengths to provide the outstanding teaching and tutorial services. With regard to providing the best teaching and tutoring services, I will attend technological workshops in my local area so I can assist students with the newest Microsoft Office edition, 2016, by helping to improve their computer skills. Also, I want to empower students to achieve their college success, continue to provide ongoing academic tutoring, and work as a team with my coworkers to solve problems using strategic thinking. Although I will be working around a busy work schedule, I want to continue to pursue my next career objective for obtaining a master’s degree. Furthermore, I have written clearly defined goals for achieving my next academic endeavor, earning my master’s
As a child and even as a teenager one tends to make dreams and set goals for life. On occasion these goals are far stretched and sometimes even fairy-tale like, we tend to see life through a rose-colored glass, not taking into account the many sidetracks life throws our way. At that stage in life our goals tend to be less focused and somewhat unreachable. However, the process of growing up, or maturing, tends organized and center our goals, we learn to make compromises and set goals for our goals. There are different types of goals, short term and long term. I have learned to separate the many goals I have into three main categories: family, professional and personal.
Choosing a career in medicine is my first career choice, and in many ways it is the only career choice I want. From professional athletes that we see on television, to the educators that have taught me and many others through the years, they all have committed themselves to extensive study. They have practiced countless of hours to master their individual skill set for their profession. I see myself following in the same footsteps, but as a pediatrician. I want to also master the skills that it takes to be a great doctor. It may not be simple and the outcome may not be near, but with extensive studying and practice I want to achieve and master the set of skills of pediatric diagnosis and eventually improve the medical process. This is my
Drawing characters, backgrounds, rims, cars, or trucks spends most of my pastime. In addition to drawing, I would also like to partake classes in Animation. Art directors earned $56,880 in 2000, and the highest 10% made more than $109,440 dollars. Artist work about 40 hours a week, but during busy periods, they work overtime to meet deadlines.
My third goal to be efficient in using the computer literacy while attending the University of Phoenix. This will allow me to develop skills for today's corporate America. I also have a goal to broaden my perspective while attending University of Phoenix Online. It has given me a chance to earn a degree in an environment that has people from different religions, cultures, races, and social situation that all have one common goal of getting a college degree. We
An obvious goal as a working adult returning to school is, of course, to earn a degree. My overall goal is no different than any other student, however, I also have several personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the University. Some of these goals are to acquire new skills and enhance my current business abilities, to apply what I learn in the classroom to forward my career, and to feel personal satisfaction of finishing something I started.
My whole life I have always wanted to become a successful engineer, and graduate from the University of Cincinnati. Some of my goals in life are to go to the University of Cincinnati. Another one of my goals is to become some type of engineer. But as of right now I would like to be a aerospace engineer. To be honest I really don’t know what influenced me to want to become and engineer. But something about engineering always appealed to me for some reason. But lately my engineering teacher has had a positive impact on me and is really making me like engineering and the overall field. So I guess that Mr. Smith has influenced me into being an engineer. My plan b is to be an engineer too. But this type of engineering would just be easier to
Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. Now that my enrollment is complete, I am an official student at the University enrolled in the undergraduate program for business management. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors. My personal goals are to gain personal growth and development and graduate from my undergraduate program in business
