My Personality Profile results are ENTJ which is an acronym that translates to: Extraverted Intuitive Thinking Judging. The Myers Briggs personality test’s results summary begins with an illustration of the personality by explaining that an ENTJ would not have any interest in window seat on an airplane because they cannot control what they see. In contrast to the illustration, I always enjoy the window seat simply for the scenery. Next, the summary begins by stating people with this personality make-up have a tendency to marshal and direct. Though I may have examples of having this tendency, I don’t think it accurately sums up my personality. I do relate mostly to the explanation of how ENTJ make plans and are compelled to see these plans through though they only have importance to me. In conclusion I do relate to some of the findings in the overall summary, but not all. Generally, there are a lot …show more content…
I do respect my peers and maintain the order that my group accepts. Also, I tend to share my opinion as well as find out others but feel I do not assert my opinion unless I believe it to be right. I easily find a common ground and can tailor my communication to be based upon facts and direct consequences to accommodate sensory/thinking group. Appealing to the sensory/feeling group is more of a challenge as is described in the results. Overall, communication skills and career descriptions of an ENTJ was relatable, but not as much as learning style. Evidently, I did not agree with all the findings as some descriptions were in direct contrast to my personality. I do not experience difficulty with certain soft skills, specifically those that were stated having to do with tact or patience. Though I have more of a tendency to be pragmatic, I can be moved by topics dealing with love or poetry. Lastly, Management, engineering or law are not careers I find appealing nor
After taking the Big Five Personality Assessment, I was able to decode certain aspects of my personality and analyze whether different strengths and weaknesses. One strength I found was me openness to experience. Being open to others and their ideas has broadened my horizons. I have found that I have so much to learn from others. Whether their ideas are positive or negative, they provide feedback which overall has increased my communication skills. This is a recent strength for me. With prior companies, change was delivered as bad news, we were not taught to work with our peers but rather compete. With my new company I am experiencing the opposite side of the spectrum. I am encouraged to communicate with anyone needed, regardless of
Interesting, I have been labeled as an ENTJ personality type. The breakdown of an ENTJ personality type follows as such Extravert(34%), iNtuitive(59%), Thinking(28%), and Judging(53%). Jung’s test expressed part of my personality as Extraverted thinker that I have clear sense of beliefs, and they are displayed through mild arguments. Next, Introverted iNtuition determined that I have very good impromptu skills. Extraverted Sensing, completely claims that I am aware of the reality that exist. Introverted feeling has left intimate compassion on an deserted island.
When I took the personality test I was assigned the letter “ENFJ”, meaning my personality is an extravert, Intuitive, feelings, and judge. Each of these personality are relating to each other. I am aware that my personality is a positive and negative influence in my work and at every organization there are worker with different personalities.
My assessment stated: Introvert (67%), Intuitive (50%), Thinking (25%), and Judging (22%). On my behalf, this is accurate. Heiss (2015) view of INTJ, “To complicate matters, INTJs are usually extremely private people, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes them easy to misread and misunderstand.” I see myself as a private person and do not often have small talks and it is often mistaken that I am egotistic. I don’t like to share my personal life with random individuals. Intuition focuses on the future and the possibilities. I see myself constantly thinking of the possibilities of what is possible when I receive my degree, in hopes of becoming successful. Thinking involves logic and analyzing, and I often have make sure I obtain the information before I make a decision. I am often told that I overanalyze a simple question or decision. I’d like to think, than use my feelings to make a decision. As for judging, I’d like to have plans in place and have structure. This personality assessment has provided me a perspective of my leadership styles with my personality and the possibilities of the type of career would serve me
A test that I recently took includes the Myer’s Briggs Personality Test which categorizes an individual as either being an introvert or extrovert, an intuitive or sensitive person, a person who feels or thinks, and someone who perceives or judges. After answering a series of questions, it was possible to conclude which categories I ranked the highest in. My results signified that I am an introvert who is sensitive and likes to think as well as judge, which can be referred to an ISTJ personality; in simpler terms, my results basically mean I am a responsible, serious and sensible person in society. These results also convey that my ideas are based off of reality and facts, indicating that I possess a methodical personality pertaining to accuracy.
In doing my personality profile project, I learned new things, confirmed known things, and disagree with some information about myself. I will take this time to compare and contrast my new found information.
I asked my friends if they are ready for the Math final, some of them responded “ nobody studies for finals” that didn’t stop me, It turns out in my class, I was the one who got the highest on the final, my math teacher said that I crushed the test. Now since 7th grade, I am putting in the hard work. Myers Briggs personality test made me think, is this really my personality, Maybe I wasn't answering the questions honestly, Briggs Myers stated that ENFJ people can’t handle big projects, I disagree with that because I am doing this current English project and I’m loving it. For example I recently did a spanish project that was worth one hundred points, I loved that project even though it was challenging I still managed to get it done. ENFJ also states that they are unafraid to stand when something needs to be corrected or added. I somewhat agree to that because sometimes I add good things that I feel like is best for whatever we are doing. This also goes to critically thinking. ENFJ people love to think outside the box. For example if we have a problem or a dilemma, we love to think outside the box, how we can make it better even if itś the maximum best. They also see a big picture. Now there can be different meanings to that, when I read a book, automatically I see a picture in my head like a vision of what I just read. Now all these statements are true, but I have to think about this, what if this
My Myers-Briggs Personality Test type is ESTJ (Extroverted iNtuative Thinking Judging). I am more of an extrovert rather than introvert. I believe more in logical sense rather than going for the intuition. I focus more on thinking rather than giving importance to feeling on something. Furthermore, I analyze facts and rely on judgment rather than perceiving something directly. These are some of the many ways I believe; ENTJ’s can be an efficient and effective leader and manager. I can identify more with the external environment. I am a very responsible person that has the ability to handle most tasks and problem solving critically and efficiently.

Before taking the Myers-Briggs Interactive Test, I didn’t really know what to expect or what kind of questions I would be answering in order to determine what my personality type would be. Afterwards however, I wasn’t too surprised with my results of the test. Out of the sixteen different personality types, I got the INFJ personality type which simply means dominant introverted intuition. All of those letters were pretty self-explanatory and accurate according to how my temperament and personality are. The statistical conclusion was 67% introvert (I), 38% intuitive (N), 50% feeling (F), and 56% judging (J). Therefore I had a distinctive preference of introversion over extraversion, a moderate preference of intuition over sensing, a
My Meyers Briggs type is INTJ (Introverted Intuition with extraverted thinking). I can say that the descriptions that I found regarding INTJ’s fit me very well, for better or worst. It gave an accurate depiction of the high value that I assign to intelligence, knowledge, and competence. It also says that these personality types make great scientist, but I hate science. I do live in my own head and think “big picture” and systematically. The report spoke a lot about the importance that the individual is socially and emotionally developed, as well as having developed senses as to not miss small details.
The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) enables an individual to gain a deeper insight into their inherent personality traits. For some people, they have had prior knowledge or underlying assumptions about their personality, but this test provides clearer information about each of their identifiable traits. According to the MBTI in Human-metric personality test, my scores were 22% (E) extroverted thinking more than introverted, 9% (N) intuitive as oppose to sensing, 16% (T) thinking more than feeling, and 12% (J) judging as compared to perceiving. Thus, my personality type is ENFJ. The ENFJ personality group is described as a minority group that consists of natural-born leaders, and people filled with passion, and charisma for example, Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey; they are notable members of this group, also known as the protagonists (16personalities, 2016). The protagonists apprehend pride in providing guidance for others to improve individually and to improve the community at large (16personalities, 2016). The protagonists find it naturally easy to communicate with others and excel at communicating with other people in person (16personalities, 2016).
Inevitably, I have learned many personal skills and people skills while growing up. Although I have always been aware of my various personal skills, I have never actually taken any assessments to gauge my personality, interests, and values before taking this class. After taking this class, I have learned a lot about myself and the various career paths available to me. From the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test, I scored as an INTP personality type. As this personality type, it states that I am a logical person who is quiet, contained and flexible. Moreover, it states that I am skeptical, sometimes critical, and always analytical. Although I do agree with some of the information it states, I feel that I identify more with the ENTP personality type.
The Myers-Briggs type indicator is a personality test used to make the psychological types described by C.G. Jung more understandable and relevant to people's lives. It shows that random variations in behavior are actually not so random at all, but how people use their perception and judgement. There are sixteen distinctive personality types that can result from the choices of preferences. (Foundation, The Myers & Briggs) Based on the results from taking this personality test, I have an ESFJ personality type. Which stands for extraversion, sensing, feeling, and judging. I will be discussing how my personality affects different areas of my life, and things that I also have learned about my personality type.

This personality is externally focused on dealing with logically and rational things. But it also internal because it involves using one’s intuition as the primarily mean of understanding the environment around it. I can relate to this in the sense that I use my feeling to help make decisions that require and immediate answer. I am a person that likes to think on the fly as they would say. I am able to interrupt information and make a relational choice based on what I felt at the moment. This ability help me with my job as a Child Protective Investigator. In my job we have to assess for present danger this involve using little information to determine if there is immediate danger when out on a case. There are two primary Traits that will help define this personality type. The first is that they are extremely organized and enjoy creating order, and the second one that much of their self-satisfaction is gotten through giving and helping others, according to personalitypage.com.
