This year is going to be a different type of year for me because it matters the most. I expect it to be wonderful an to accomplish great things. I am going to make it and a movie. This year I plan to be focusing on several to ensure that i am successful. My senior year is going to be mostly determine my future. My main thing to do for my senior year is to really study more. This year my grades matter more than ever. I am planning on going to college after high school. Studying is a big part of making good grade. Another I am trying to do is to be the greatest can be in football cause, this is my last year of football in high school. I am going to take every practice and game seriously. I am also welling to take college courses class so I
As I get ready to face my senior year, no body can predict what is going to happen like the weather. Weather is a great example to represent the coming senior year, sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad. There is nothing much I can do about it. Even though there is a forecast, but still, there is going to be something unexpected.
My little cousin, Ella Jane, is in the stages of transitioning into middle school. A “skill” that I have recently mastered. A process that no one knew could be so challenging. That’s why I want to help correctly guide her down the path of priorities, extracurriculars, and friendships.
Every year many high school seniors graduate and most of them go to college to continue their education. At their age they are already given so many responsibilities under the law and some would even say that they are already considered as adults. There are some high school seniors that are already working at this age while going to school at the same time. Some students take honors, advance placement, and college classes to help them in college. But there are some that still gets in trouble and still come in late for school. So what makes someone adult? Is it some kind of biological phenomenon or some kind of psychological phenomenon that constitutes whether someone is considered an adult? A high school senior has a lot of ups and downs characteristics that makes it difficult to decide whether they really fit the definition of an adult.
No one can really predict the outcome of what might happen this year, but I believe you’ll have an amazing year. Along with getting better grades and hopefully by then, you've accomplished our goals and also made new friends. I can predict your hair will get longer than the last time. I also will have a big chance of ending up being different than in the beginning of August, which I hope is a good thing. I also expect you get into a good high school, so you can be successful.
Senior year: you never see it coming. Before you start high school, you are told that the next four years of your life will be the best times. You are also told that those same 4 years will go by faster than you expect. Going into highschool I never expected it to go by fast. I thought these amazing four years of my life were going to drag on forever. Now I realize that is far from true. I am now a second semester senior and the time clock is almost to zero. Joining orchesis was one of the best things I could have ever done in high school. Being involved in something makes senior year that much harder. Everything you do is your last. You know you're a senior when it is time for you to make the senior chant for show.
When junior year ended last summer, I felt like I knew exactly what was coming my way-- after all, I watched three different groups of my friends go through senior years of their own. It was finally my turn to experience senior year, something it seemed I had known about for years, and I felt like senior year would be easygoing and uneventful. Now, it has taken just a few short months to realize how incorrect I was. If senior year has taught me anything, it is that one never really knows what comes next for them, even if they have a good idea. The monumental highs, as well as the deepest of lows, have kept me on my toes throughout my senior year.
This year in 8th grade, my fellow students and I were taught several skills in Geometry, Language Arts, Science, P.E, and History. Many of these skills I have learned in these classes can benefit me in my high school years. From these skills, the first skill I believe will help immensely in high school is time management. The second skill that I've found beneficial is the ability to think and act quickly. Finally, the third and most important skill is the ability to concentrate on assignments. These three skills will definitely help make high school be less difficult and much more comfortable.
My parents have said to work hard and do my best in school. I never understood why until I got older. The reason they told me to do my best in school was because they wanted me to think about school and my future. Both of my parents didn't get the chance to go to college. They both came to the United States looking for what most people come to the United States for ‘The American Dream’. They wanted a place where they could raise their children and find a stable job. Well what they had planned didn't work out. They found physically demanding jobs with low wages. I watched as they came home tired and stressed. Even through all the hardships they still maintained a positive attitude. They have pushed me to get better grades and to succeed in school.
Remembering how school was for me always makes me think of my mother. I never wanted to leave the house, as she was severely ill. I never wanted to leave for long periods of time. I would always think the worst in the back of my mind, What if? What if she needed a drink of water and was unable to get it? What if she had an episode and was unable to get to the phone? What if the worst was to happen and I got back home to my mother not ever being there. This was a challenge for me daily. School was all right and all, I did enjoy going to school with my sister every morning. I savored the time I was able to spend with my friends. I also greatly enjoyed learning, it always seemed to be fairly easy. I ended up earning my GED my Sophomore year because
The purpose of this research paper is to inform and assess Ms. Washburn’s strengths as well as the problems she is facing due to health issues, her recent losses, and financial stability. Will also assess the client’s environment as well as work towards goals that both the social worker and the client can come to an agreement with. Develop a plan for changing that which both the client and the social worker agree needs changing. Talk about key concepts in the Ecological Theory and give rational reasoning and example to support it. Will summarize information regarding biophysical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. Finally, discuss oppression,
In conclusion, I just wish that this year will be the best year of my life. Well, I know that this year will be the best year. Im so ready to graduate and go off to college and do whats best for my son and I. I want to grow up and be able to achieve goal and do better on my own without anyone trying to stop me. So, for this last school year of high school I'm going to keep striving for my goals and do what I'm suppose to do. Im going to do less talking and more work. Do more organizing, focusing on my grades and study more. This year will be the year that I will finally be able to say I FINALLY MADE IT
My summer was good and bad. Some good parts were that I made a lot of money and got to be with friends often. Although, some bad parts were that I worked way too much and usually didn’t get enough sleep.
Hi, I'm Mya, as you already know. For starters, I was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 8th 2001. (I even know my time of birth, but I'll get into the reason a little later.) In my second year of primary school I moved all the way to Tampa, Florida and lived there until I was around 12 years old. I began virtual schooling my fifth year of elementary school, due to my family moving to a house located in a bad school zone, and have been doing it ever since. Currently, I am living with in a house of 9 people, and 7 animals. As for friends, I don't have many. Morgan, who you had in your class last semester, is my closest friend, though, I am also friends with my two sisters and another cousin who doesn't live with me.
One of my most meaningful achievements I have worked for has to be my academic awards. In my senior year of high school I earned a silver and gold medal for having good grades. I got a gold medal because I had A's or B's in most of my classes (except maybe one or two), and a silver for having mostly B's and I think a couple C's. I earned these after each semester of my senior year. I know this will help to keep me motivated throughout the school year at The Art Institute of Phoenix because I'm a hard worker. I don’t like the feeling of failing or having the possibility to fail. I take my work very seriously and I like to test myself with new things. I can see myself very comfortable in being a game programmer because it's all a challenge, learning
I started off a week at my new school; only to find out that it was not going to work out for my father. The next week I switched to a different school that was in the same district. I resented the school before I even went there I was around thirteen going to this middle school that I wanted sprint from the school that made me feel like I was in my own personal burning hell. I was feeling rebellious, and I did not want to stay at that school. I told my parents that I would fail all my classes unless you switch me back. My father said for me to spend one week at the middle school and if I hated it so much that he would switch me back to the other school. I ended up staying at the school failing most of my classes and getting many lunch detentions
