Many only see the National Honor Society as an organization that will look excellent on college applications, and although that may be true, the National Honor Society is not an organization that can be taken so lightly. The National Honor Society is so much more than a scholarship-granting organization, the NHS is an organization that helps develop the requisite for render service and the development of leadership and character. The growth and success of the NHS relies on not only its members, but also those outside of the organization. Its members can only do so much on their own. Part of building character and leadership is to encourage and rely on others whom are capable of helping. The members of NHS shouldn’t let their pride and achievements

The National Honors Society allows students to be build and create traits that are essential in a successful adult. I truly believe that hold many of these traits and joining the National Honor Society will grant me the opportunity to expand on these traits and grow as a person. Thus far I have focus greatly on the scholarship aspect of NHS and have been dedicated to my academics. I have held my GPA above 4.0 and have always been devoted to maintaining that high level of academic success. The skills I have shown in devoting myself to my academics can be easily translated into my dedication for the other aspects of leadership, service and character. Having previously held a officer role in the National Junior Honor Society I have gained experience

National Honor Society truly is a honor to be accepted into. National Honor Society represents scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I believe since I was young I have shown compassion and leadership needed in our society. That is why this is the right society for me.

National Honor Society is an exceptional organization that promotes and motivates accomplished, versatile students. In order to qualify for National Honor Society, I believe one must have the mindset of a leader accompanied by examples of a strong moral character to support it. I have been demonstrating these qualities as an ambitious students before I began high school. Throughout my entire educational career, I have always strived to be the absolute best I can be. This includes challenging myself by always taking the highest level classes that are offered and maintaining Honor Roll. Students should demonstrate scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character because of three reasons. One, if students demonstrate these qualities they are more likely to get better grades and get reprimanded less. Another, without these traits, a student would have far less opportunities in the future. Finally, as students grow they will gain much more wisdom if they allow themselves to work on demonstrating these characteristics. Overall, these qualities are very important in the present, and in the future.

Throughout my high school career at Wahconah Regional High School, I have done, and continue to keep doing many activities in order to help my community. In addition I have made various accomplishments in many different areas. I should be inducted into the National Honor Society because of how my accomplishments and community activities prove how I fit into the four pillars, service, leadership, character and scholarship.

Nomination as a candidate for National Honor Society enraptured me as this allows me to demonstrate the multitude of ways that I strive to become an honorable and positive member of society. With the support of my family and a personal goal for relentless advancement since a young age I have shown maturity by participating and discovering ways to improve my impact on the community and the people around me. With modesty I exhibit the required qualities that Dr. Edward Rynearson necessitated for a member of the National Honor Society, possessing definite attributes for leadership, service, character and scholarship. Foremost my hard work and determination have granted me scholastic achievements that evidently meet the prerequisites for National Honor Society.

I am honored to be among the students who have been given the opportunity to apply to be part of the National Honors Society. Membership in this esteemed organization has been a goal of mine since the 7th grade, when I first joined NJHS and became familiar with the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. I have grown personally and academically as I have worked to incorporate these 4 pillars into my daily routine. I am actively striving to develop a distinguished character with academic initiative, qualities that exemplify a leader, and an overall positive representation of Eagle High School.

I believe that I am well suited for the leadership role that joining the National Honor Society will put me in. Throughout my school years, I have always tried to challenge myself in many ways, including becoming a better leader. I have achieved my goal of becoming a better leader. A way that I proved this is joining the Student Council, running for the first time in 6th grade. In my three years of being a representative, the Student Council has given me the leadership experience that I would need to be successful as a member of the National Honor Society.

The National Honor Society is a group whose members are known for their academic accomplishments, leadership, and integrity. This group is greatly prestigious and I am honored to be invited to apply. This group also contributes a great deal towards the community, which is something that I am interested in doing more of. Until now, I have not gone out of my way to do much service and being in this group, I would have a higher motivation to do so. I would like to experience more giving to the community because whenever I have helped others, I felt satisfactory and valuable afterward. This society would be an excellent opportunity to be a bigger part of the community.

As a student, I am very honored to have received this invitation from the NHS. From the start of my freshman year it has been a goal of mine that I have focused on, a dream of mine that that has now turned into reality. It has also made me gain confidence in myself knowing that I can achieve many great things in life. Being in the National Honor Society will push me in school and also help me strive for greatness and not for average. Throughout my years in school, I really didn’t care about my grades and also my behavior. I always was the one to get into trouble every day and really not care about

Qualifying for National Honors Society is a great honor and is the apotheosis of my highschool career. As a highschool student in arduous honors classes, I am faced with challenges on a daily basis that might discourage me from achieving my goals in life. Because high school can be rigorous and stressful at times, I have realized how these hindrances should be the reason for me to persevere towards greatness and to learn who I truly am. A National Honor Society member showcases leadership, service, exemplifies positive character, and an outstanding academic excellence at the same time. I believe that I display these characteristics, and would be an asset to the organization .

The National Society Essay is an exceptional organization that allows students to help the needy and provide essential characteristics for life. Ever since my sister was admitted to the National Honor Society I have strived to make it one of my goals to be apart of this prestigious society as well. Throughout my high school career, I have demonstrated many examples of character, leadership, and service that I believe will qualify me for this coalition. I believe that I posses qualities of a good character because there have been many times where I have exhibited good character.

Although I am new to this school, and to this country, I feel that I have already made a place for myself here—and National Honor Society is where I see myself belong. It is an honor to be one of the fine students being considered to be a part of this organization; therefore, after doing a thorough research on it, and learning that one must exhibit qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, and service in order to be a member of this society, I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I do possess these qualities.
