We've all seen it heard about and even wore nike before but no not everyone knows the history and origin of nike.
According to greek mythology Nike is the winged goddess of victory. The goddess sat at the side of Zeus, King of Olympus at Pantheon. When the Greeks would go to war they would say which is a synonym for Honored Conquest. one of the biggest sports brands of today worlds Nike started off small and from the inside of Phillip H Knights car. owner
The birth of nike came two problems of two people Phil Knight who was a former track standout at Oregon, He loved athletics and he didn't want to stop being involved. “Air Jordan” is actually a branch of nike. Lots of people accutaully think that jordan just went and made a shoe. Surprisingly even though all he wore was converse in college because of former coach (coach dean) ,while leaving UNC and entering the NBA all jordan wanted to wear was Adidas, which was his favorite brand at the time. Initially Jordan was supposed to sign and play under Adidas but due to the death of the founder in 198( ) and family succession issues the deal sadly never took off. From there Jordan went to the Headquarters of Converse even though he was really reluctant at first.
