In John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, George and Lennie have an unusual friendship. George shows that he really loves Lennie, and cares for his safety after his fight with Curley, shows love and hope for Lennie when he tells him to run and hide, after he kills curley’s wife, and shows that he is sympathetic for Lennie when Lennie kills the mouse.
