Office Memo regarding the appearance of the building:
To All employees:
As you all know the company is under new management and we are trying to broaden our visions as well as show that we as a company are more diverse. Our new public relations officer has decided to acquire some paintings that will show a deeper side of the company.
Our painter of choice was Vincent Van Gogh. Van Gogh was self-taught as a painter. His work was influenced by Jean-Francois Millet & the Barbizon school. In his early career he painted portraits that contained Dutch peasants and depressing rural landscaped. Somewhere between 1886 & 1889 he moved to Paris. While he was here Impressionism & Neo Impressionism had an influence on him in relation to his new paintings.

One cannot develop ideas alone. They must gather inspiration from their surroundings as well as continue to learn and grow. Taking bold chances is the foundation of a successful business.
One well known piece from Van Gogh was the Olive Orchard painted in 1889. It shows 3 women picking what could be described as fruits. They are showing their teamwork to one another as we should do within our company. The orchard can be described as our many branches of our offices. But it also embodies the painter to be bold and different.
Our next painting which you will see is Van Gogh’s bedroom in 1889. Now I know you’ll ask yourself why is this so important because it’s just a room but you have to realize it’s the simpleness of it. Van Gogh was a simple painter just as our CEO was when he decided to start this company. It shows that everyone remembers where they came from to get to where they are now.
Another painting that you see is Potato Eaters,1885. It may seem as though it’s just a simple painting with 5 people sitting around a table but it’s not. You could assume they are preparing a meal or even having dinner. It shows the teamwork between them to prepare a meal yet alone eat together. This painting shows the teamwork just like our company that we are one team one fight with one vision in the
Vincent van Gogh is one of the world’s most well-known artists. He was the son of a pastor and was brought up in a religious atmosphere. He thought his true calling was to preach the gospel like his father. He became a preacher in a small coal mining town. This is when he starting becoming very interested in the people and things that surrounded him. He became an artist at the age of 27.
Van Gogh and Monet had both lived exceptionally different lives. Van Gogh did not start off wanting to become an artist, he was actually very interested in theology and had eventually become a minister. It had seemed as though Van Gogh had found his calling. Unfortunately, he was released from the church after his generosity had betrayed him. While trying to help miners, he gave away all of his clothes and was only left with a cloth. The church committee overseeing Van Gogh let him go because he did not dress or preach eloquently. This led to Van Gogh gaining an interest in art which would lead him to go to an art school in Paris to
This painting depicts a sidewalk café in France at night. There is a doorway to the front left of the painting that is painted blue, and is surrounded by a wall that gleams yellow from the outdoor lights. Attached to the wall, there is a large awning, and it covers the diners and the empty tables that are a part of the café. Above the awning, there are open window shutters
Vincent Van Gogh is one of the most famous painters of all time. His style was post-impressionism. He was a Dutch man, born in an averaged sized town called Groot-Zundert, Netherlands. The reason he became an artist, and the thing that influenced him the most to become an artist was actually his mother. His mother was interested in nature, she did a lot of drawing and watercolors and that really influenced her son heavily and got him into art. When he was fifteen years old, his family was really struggling with their finances. Because of this, he was forced to get a job and help them provide. It ended up that his uncle owned an art dealership, so he got a job there.
Vincent van Gogh was one of many artists who self taught himself, who transformed the appearance of Post-Impressionism incessantly. His main focuses were his paintings, which he mostly painted in oil mediums. In his time, he has produced lot of paintings, most of which were of cityscapes, figure and landscape scenery. Unlike Pablo
It must have been 13 years or so since I have been to the art museum, back in elementary school, on a one of a kind field trip. 13 years is way too long to have been away from the art museum, as my experience this year reminded me that. It was a beautiful, sunny October day, although it felt like July, and it was an even better day to talk a walk through the vast, mesmerizing pieces of art that the museum has to offer. The North Carolina Museum of Art provides an abundance of artwork from various time periods, cultures, and one can find art anywhere from Egyptian, to classical, to modern and contemporary art. The artwork that the museum provides not only displays an abundance of artwork, but
On Saturday, November 4th, I visited the Denver Art Museum in Denver, Colorado. The piece of art I decided to write about is called “A Mountain Symphony (Longs Peak, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado)” This two-dimensional oil on canvas painting was completed in America in 1927 by Sven Birger Sandzén. This painting has not been on public view since 1927 and is located in the Denver Art Museum in Denver, Colorado. It was a “Free Day” at the museum, so I decided to attend by myself. I was unable to get a picture of myself in front of the work of art I decided to write about, but I did get several pictures of the artwork and a picture of myself with the “Free Day” sticker. I decided to write about this work of art because it was the only piece in the museum that really stood out to me and really caught my attention. A Mountain Symphony is a lively, beautiful landscape painting with a vibrant pallet filled with luminosity and broad brushstrokes. The sculptural quality of the paint surface reflect the influence of turn-of-the century modernist techniques. The balance of color and light brings happiness and joy to the viewer.
At the start of his career he was influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement and then painted in a manner that could be compared to those of John Sloan, Edward Hopper, Edouard Vuillard or Utrillo.
In the quiet city of Sebring, the simple buildings contain an explosion of ideas and potential. Despite what others might think, this place has provided a lot of encouragement for artistic abilities such as, a muse, a canvas, and especially opportunities. Due to the citizens’ interest for art, the community finds a way to be on common ground. For this reason, people anticipate new artwork created by the young generation of ambitious artists.
"To read our customers testimonials after they have received their paintings for the first time is one of the most powerful reasons why I love our business. To hear how much we have touched someone’s heart & emotion through Art is truly beautiful.” - Rachel

A great artist once wrote, “If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced”. This artist was Vincent van Gogh, soon to be an appraised artist known all around the world for his works, such as Starry Night. He is one of the very first artists of the post-impressionist style than is now adored in every continent. However, there is much more to the man than one painting. Creating a full timeline that stretches beyond Gogh’s life, this paper will discuss the life of Vincent van Gogh and the impression he made on the world.
I we will explain to my boss, who has assigned me the task of managing the art budget and selecting six works to be displayed at the new corporate office, the historical significance of each piece, a description of each piece; with images were possible, and it’s probable placement in a corporate office setting. I will also offer my thoughts as to how each piece is likely to be consistent with our corporate image. I will analyze some possible symbolisms and
Discuss how the social, cultural and historical context shaped the meanings communicated in the artwork.
As a person who has been learning to play the piano for more than 10 years, I not only love music, but also am interested in other various forms of arts. Painting, which is the practice of applying paint, pigment, color or other medium to a surface, is one kind of arts I love. Therefore, instead of having dinner with friends, I went to the Emporium Center and visited “The Fall Juried Show: 41st Fall Art Exhibition” at 6 pm on last Friday.
