I really enjoy the recreational programs here in Orland Park. Almost every weekend, I go to the Sportsplex consequently I think it is fantastic. The Orland Days Festival along with Taste of Orland are amazing moreover enliven my life in Orland Park. The Shotokan Karate is my favorite recreational program. I believe the best recreational program is karate. I anticipate there will be more activities such as archery, hiking, in addition to fishing.
I think Comerica Park field is very interesting for many reasons. It would be easy for me to choose an MLB field, and it would be Comerica Park because it has a singing stage in right field. Comerica Park can hold 52,416 fans in it. Over the years Comerica Park has changed a lot over the years. The players get to play with colored bats and the bats are colored when they get them. The bottom knob of the bats have the players number on it. Tiger fans talk about the history of the Tigers. The history of the Tigers is interesting because Andrew Romine played all nine positions in one game.
Henry Louie Norwest was born on May 1st, 1884 in Fort Saskatchewan, a small town outside of Edmonton in Alberta. He was a very unique solider as he was Metis. His mother, Geneviève Norwest was of French descent, and his father, Louie Norwest was a member of the Kiskaquin, a Cree first Nations band. Henry was one of three siblings, he had a half-brother named Joe Norwest, as well as a sister, Madeline Norwest who lived in Lacombe, Alberta. His parents later moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Growing up with a First Nations heritage, Henry learned many valuable skills that would later help him during life in the war. The most notable of these skills was the ability to hunt, as it thought him invaluable camouflaging and gun skills. Growing
Growing up in the city of Detroit then moving out to the Suburbs of West Bloomfield is a huge change. In Detroit I became accustomed to my environment. For the most part we were black. Racial issues didn't come up much because of this. While I understood racism and knew that Blacks were a minority throughout the country. I had never felt what it really felt like to be a minority.
Starved Rock Park is a beautiful, marvel that lies along the Illinois River just 90 miles West of Chicago. The park was named after a battle that took place in 1760 that involved the Ottawa Indian tribe. When the battle broke out among opposing tribes the Ottawa Indians were forced to take refuge on a giant rock. Several days after the battle, the tribe began to run out of resources and eventually starved to death, giving the rock and the park its name. The rich history of the area began in 8000 BC when the Archaic tribe first settled there. From then on tribes such as the Woodland, Hopewellian, and Mississippi have also inhabited the area. After the 1760 battle, however, Indian activity at Starved Rock Park declined leaving the area
The sound of blaring car horns and chatter of important phone conversations filled the city of Washington D.C. Men and Women dressed in business attire raced frantically up and down faintly painted crosswalks pushing by me as if I weren't there. A place I once thought was professional and mindful turned out to be more deceiving than I imagined. as I walked through the city I realized it was a place of chaos and oblivious people. I walked around the city for a few minutes before I discovered Pershing Park ( a park known for its protests). Along the perimeter of the park I saw mostly business people walking in and out of government buildings and occasionally a tourist snapping pictures next to a historic landmark.

Located in the Central San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, Baldwin Park, California is home to the first In-N-Out burger stand. The 626 Night Market in Baldwin Park is one of the largest Asian-themed markets in the United States and the city also boasts its own Drive in theater.
This year the National Park Service celebrates its 100th anniversary. Their mandate is to "conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein” in an unimpaired condition so that they might be enjoyed by present and future generations." I interviewed Park Service employee Daniel Craighead, an Occupational Safety and Health Specialist, to discuss how occupational safety and training supports the Park Services mandate.
As the triumphant arc of George Washington stands proudly in the center of the park it is surrounded by a history of death. One of the surrounding buildings now housing New York University students was once the stage of a tragic fire, the fountain in which the children are playing in lays over mass graves and the large proud elm tree at the northeast corner of the park was once the final destination of those condemned to die. This history is one of sadness but the city of New York and the park itself have been able to overcome this history and become the laugh filled recreation area it is today.
What if Menlo Park was never created? A park in Edison Township, located in northern central Jersey, had land that was an unsuccessful estate development. This park was named after Menlo Park in California, which later became the site that Thomas Edison would reside in. Thomas Edison built not only his home, but his laboratory there too. This is the site that the phonograph and the incandescent light bulb were invented. If Menlo park estate development did not fail, then we could have been without these inventions and technologies for many years after his time. Society would most likely have been more delayed in our technology department throughout the years.
When it was Labor day I first went to seven street park. We went with my mom friends and family. We went to play basketball then we got board and went to take a brake.
