Provide technical Support for the FCC SRA OTPS effort I was tasked to help my fellow JETT co-workers to create probe images for the H-1 Flight Computer Control (FCC) Shop Replaceable Assembly (SRA). To create the pictures, four templates were made in Microsoft Visio to make the process simple. The YAW Axis Card Component Layout file was divided into 4 sections, front Top, front Bottom, back Top, and back Bottom. Each template consists of one of the divided parts of the Axis Card, an adjustable red box on the Axis Card image to highlight the area of the component, an empty box for the blow-up image, a small red box to indicate the side of the component to probe, and an arrow to emphasize the side to probe. This task took longer to complete opposed to a remove and install. Eventually, the DM was assigned to Chris Rickman, Senior engineer, for senior review. Chris suggested a meeting time to go over the task with me. While going over the task, I understood how the next testing and troubleshooting tasks I receive should be written and that the information there was correct just a few errors such as, unnecessary steps or the wrong plug numbers. VH-92A Presidential Helicopter Program On this program, I was exposed to a meeting called TMER (Technical Manual Evaluation Record) Review. This meeting was about discrepancies found, by HMX-1 (Marine Squadron One) and Howard Blair (PEO, PMA274), when reviewing the DMs the team has sent to Patuxent River, MD. During my time here, I received a list of DMs that required updates. This assignment took priority over other tasks I currently had in my WMS box. Therefore, I began to make updates. There were a few DMs I could not complete myself and would have taken too much time. Thus, I quickly asked questions when needed. I completed the task in a timely matter for the senior engineer to review and send back. VH-92A Indoctrination Training for New Engineers For sustainment, I created indoctrination training for new engineers joining the VH-92A team. This task helped utilized my task management skills by determining what information is required for proper training. This training has detailed information about VH-92A
Currently, I am the ACAT Program Coordinator/ACAT Education Officer and I manage 20 staff members over various sites. I have high level communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. I handle complaints from people receiving care and their families by identifying the problem quickly through questioning techniques and finding a solution which is satisfactory to the clients and to the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. I received a complaint from a client who did not understand their ACAT Assessment. The client was upset and quite angry and intent on taking the matter further. Utilising my excellent communication skills, I talked the client through the assessment, taking the time to explain each step in the process. The result
“A good recipe for an FTO would be to mix portions of Sheriff Buford Pusser from “Walking Tall,” Sherlock Holmes, and Officer Pete Malloy from “Adam-12.” It would then tell you to bake them together and frost them with a glaze of the patient bemusement and gentle common sense of Andy Griffith’s Sheriff Andy Taylor” (Scoville, 2005, para. 2).
Both Louis XIV and Peter the Great were famous rulers of the late 17th- early 18th Centuries. Both took the throne at a young age and both had many strengths and weaknesses. Louis XIV had many strengths during his reign as ruler of France. Appointing Jean Baptiste Colbert as his minister of finance made some of his greatest strengths and accomplishments. One strength was that of mercantilism, which is an economic theory under which a country increases its wealth by exporting more goods than it imports. By accomplishing this, Louis XIV made himself and France very wealthy. More wealth was made when a balance of trade brought more gold and silver into France. A high tax was
In 1929, tears swept the nation and gloom bestowed itself upon a once happy place. The Great Depression had started. People lost everything ,so many became migrant workers. Of Mice and Men, a classic novel written by John Steinbeck, emphasizes many sad themes, but gives us a good insight on what life was like in the 1940’s for many people. Although there are other themes, rootlessness, loneliness, and poverty are extremely prominent throughout the novel in many characters.
Implementation of a computer system to replace paper documentation would require the involvement of an interdisciplinary team. This team would be comprised of several members, each with a specific job. The first member selected would be a Clinical Nurse Informaticist. With the knowledge of nursing practice and informatics, this team member would very valuable in bringing the two together in the most efficient way possible. The next team
If memory serves me correctly, the first time I ventured to Pikeville was 1998 and the Phelps would have a nice season going 7-3 on the season. East Ridge was not even around back then. The 2017 Phelps team might be able to achieve those types numbers and with a up and coming head coach in David Jones, a former Belfry great the sky could be the limit.
My interest for the Attorney Advisor position with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) arises from my longstanding commitment to constantly improve myself. I have always enjoyed legal research, writing, and the complexities of intellectual property. I have no doubt that my enthusiasm to research, my eagerness to learn, and my strong ability to communicate clearly, work efficiently, accurately, and quickly, will make me an invaluable asset to the USPTO. I believe these traits combined with my unique skillset, developed as a result of experiences working for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (Diamondbacks), Nike Inc. (Nike), and the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Liability Management Department (AG Office)
In the pamphlets “The Crisis” and “The Word and the Silence” Thomas Paine and Subcomandante Marcos formulated arguments based on the struggle between oppressive regimes and the commoners suffering it. Their purpose was to influence a justification to revolt in the common people as well as to establish how they needed to fight the oppression. The rhetorical devices used by Thomas Paine and Marcos can be compared in the sense that they both display anaphora, loaded language, and a credibility ethos to create an emotional, and inspiring tone to help their audience embrace revolt in a positive way. After coming to these conclusions, I was able to extrapolate a new insight on
In the story “A&P” by John Updike, the main character Sammy is portrayed as a typical young male. When the three young females enter the store, he is quickly distracted from his duties. As he watches the young girls move throughout the store, he describes each of their bodies in detail giving away his overwhelming sexual awareness. Sammy is so distracted by these “bathing beauties” that he rings up some old bat’s item twice and makes her angry. It is made quite evident that Sammy is finely attuned to each and every movement of these young ladies’ as they amble down each and every aisle throughout the store.
The department’s leadership is responsible for providing appropriate manpower and resources to each mission using an increasingly tight budget, while also following strict laws for high priority missions, such as nuclear defense, which mandate both high levels of training and manpower (Air Education Training Command, 2015). Additionally, warfare technology has become incredibly advanced. Due to this complication, the educational and technical requirements for military service members and employees are steadily increasing.
Team work and open communication is, as I have said and will say numerous times, vital to achieving organisational objectives and creating a positive working environment and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
This paper intends to define operations management and analyze an ethics decision made by operations managers in the workplace or in a known organization.
Since the beginning of mankind, there have been attempts to figure out how and why people differ. People who study personality traits tend to focus on various aspects of human behaviors such as, social interactions, development, learning, and culture. In addition, they study physiology, genetics, and pathology. They look at all aspects of being human and try to classify, organize, and understand them. Historically
