I do believe that any obstacle or disadvantage can be turned into something good. I believe this because people learn many things from their mistakes and that's the only way. In the example that is provided, the actor is obviously confused. The director makes a good point on how to work around it, and in a case where they make use of the chair that's in the way, which helps make it funny, exciting, or depressing. In a play or musical of any type, it adds meaning. Not only does an obstacle or disadvantage get turned into something good, but it can discover new things. Whenever any situation happens, such as in this case, I'd laugh if it's funny, cry if it's dramatic, make a joke out of it, or act like it didn't happen. Just keep in mind that
I don’t know how to start this, but I believe that everyone in life at least goes through one sort of form of an obstacle. An obstacle I face in life right now would have to be the fact that my grandma is working her butt off just so she can keep her family alive. The only reason why this bothers me is because I can’t do anything about it. Like I want to help by working, but I’m only 14 and still have two more years until I can get a part time job. Since, I’ve been a little kid, I always admired my grandma. She was my role model. She taught me that in life nothing is easy and that you have to work very hard for the things you want in life. She left her family just so my mom and I would have a better life than she did. I know this is how
My family makes a sufficient amount of money to take care of home necessities, but we only make so much money that we consider higher education a luxury. In addition, growing up without my father I have had to overcome many challenges including a lack of confidence and self love. Over time I have overcome these obstacles and I am proud of the young man I am today. I still find that I am my biggest critic, but instead of getting down on myself, I push myself harder to grow. Making mistakes is something I have accepted and have come to understand in order to get closer to my objectives both onstage and off. Everyday is an opportunity to learn, I make the choice challenging myself and grow as a student and as an artist. My background of growing
Throughout a person's life, they are faced with different obstacles, and different challenges of all different types. My life in particular has been full of up and downs used to be related especially towards my social/high school life.Everybody has goals and dreams they set for themselves, but they don't always try to achieve them. People might try to, but they sometimes will have obstacles in their way, stopping them. The only thing to do is overcome the obstacles. I have many obstacles I have to overcome and accomplish in order to achieve this dream. My first obstacle will be to do well in my classes at my highschool and after graduation, apply to college. I know l have to study and work extremely hard to accomplish this goal. Since there
In life, there are tons of challenges. Some are small and require little work to achieve, while others can be quite large, and take lots of hard work to accomplish. To be able reach these different goals, persistence must be shown, by always trying and never giving up when failure takes over.
Phillip stated his best part about college is being able to learn, having professors who actually care and being in organizations that are made to help minorities succeed.
To me "success" is when a person overcomes obstacles, in order to achieve their goals, no matter how big or small. Everyone in life has a goal, whether it's to have a great occupation, or to get over a phobia. Once a goal is set, people come up with their own plan in order to complete their goal, where they will reach success. Sometimes people will often give up their on goal during the process of achieving it, due to the overwhelming difficulty of their personal obstacles. With motivation, support, and strength, there's no obstacle that people cannot overcome, these are the three elements to success.
The first way of turning a difficulty or flaws into something good is optimism. People who are optimistic generally tend to look at the brighter things in life. By being encouraged to take on stumbling blocks it can help you rethink the outcome for the obstacle. Keeping your chin up can change the approached that you take to dealing with the restriction at hand, or drawbacks that you face. Looking at a barricade can be hard, or take time-consuming to think about the good in the bad, but the payoff can change the way you think about life or other roadblocks, or imperfections. However being a ray of sunshine is not for everyone; nevertheless, the next way to turn bumps, or weakness is "wearing them as a part of your armor"
“They never said it was easy, they said it would be worth it.” This quote means that everything in life is going to be hard; in the end, it will all be worth it. Think about it as a subject at school it may be boring, but it will be worth it in the future. So if you're having a hard time in life this quote can help you, and believe me I was in your shoes one day.
Obstacles are challenges we face in life which help us grow as people. Nearly three years ago, my daughter was killed in a tragic accident. Losing my only child left me mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally drained. This has been the longest journey ever.
No one has really did through what i have been through other if they did they had a different solution but it fits for me because it was a big obstacle in my life.I wanted to have a better life for me and my brother I was tired of taking care of everybody but myself the definition in the dictionary is a thing that blocks one's way or prevents or hinders progress. And it was true i was letting everybody else hold me down i was no longer a innocent little girl i felt like i was a mom i took care of so many kids when i was a kid myself. It was a huge obstacle in my life letting go of the hurt i felt because i didn’t have a childhood i was suppose to have but i learned to forgive those mistakes that i had to suffer from and now i can move on with
Going through your life without an obstacle or setback is unrealistic. You are bound to have them no matter what you do. Some obstacles are harder to get over than others and some are minor and easy to deal with. All of them though, are very important to your life and shape you into the person you are now or will become. Everyone deals and manages with them differently, but it’s how it affects you after that is important. Did you come away from it stronger or weaker? Did you learn a lesson or not? Each obstacle you overcome should hopefully make you a better person in some way, shape, or form. I have had many personally, but one that has impacted me the most had just recently taken place in my life.
If everyone could go throughout their entire life without having to face any difficulties, life would be too easy. We, as human beings face many challenges in our lives. We are natural problem solvers. All it takes is the desire to succeed in that which we set out to do. Facing an obstacle can be a trying event, and at times can take a toll on one’s mentality. We have become so content in our lies that any disruption could cause a major ruckus in our life. Take, for instance your job. You might have spent many hard working years at the same job, been a loyal employee, only to lose your job due to a layoff, or shutdown of the job. This becomes a major obstacle in one’s life .How you choose to look at this event varies dependent on one’s state
“Sometimes life can feel like an obstacle course, but if we try hard enough, we can usually make it over the hurdles.” This quote, written by Pearson, means that in life we will face difficult challenges if we try hard enough we can overcome them. When I read this quote a question popped in my mind, “How do we overcome obstacles?” I thought about it and I think we overcome obstacles by looking at what options we have to solve the obstacle and we choose the best one.
Everybody has their own past and gone through their own personal obstacles. Some choose to live or not live again. I chose to live again and not let a jerk or alleged “step dad” ruin my life. He ruined my life by taking my mom away, screaming, and traumatizing my life by physically and mentally hurting me. He was someone I thought I could trust, but he easily broke that six years ago. He came into my world when I was around eight years old, started forming the trust, “loving” my mom, but slowly started demolishing the “trust” by breaking us down one by one.
Through all of my accomplishments and disappointments, I have always remained humble and determined to overcome any obstacle. With that being said I’m Amber, a sophomore in college. A 25-year-old divorced young woman, with a beautiful 4-year old daughter to raise. With that being said, life just hasn’t been easy. I would have never imagined doing all of this alone. In the past year, I’ve lost 9 family members and friends. One happened to be my 44-year-old father and the other was my aunt. The greatest woman alive. I didn’t know my own strength. As the days and nights came and gone, and on the verge of losing consciousness, I asked myself who am I? Why am I doing this? I had no answer; my mind blanked out from mental and emotional exhaustion.
