What did this portion in the Parshah teach me? It taught me wherever you are, whether alone or with hundreds of people, you must have principles to follow. When the Israelites left Egypt they were not organized. Before having time to do so, while still in the desert, they were being attacked by other populaces. Before also having time to get organized through their own fundamental principles, they had to invest in defending themselves and the first action that they took was to create an army.

This reminds me of wars throughout history and today, but why do we fight? Verbal fights can happen in a household when not everyone agrees on a same topic and physical ones could be between two countries because violence is usually the first action …show more content…
