Dear Kids who lost their parent during 9/11, Honestly, I didn’t think about the important details about 9/11. I knew it was a day where the World Trade Center got collapsed by people hijacking the plane and controlling them into the buildings. I didn’t really care that much until this day hearing all the stories and situations that people had to face. Now I know how important this day is and why we all remember this day. There were about more than 2000 people who lost their life because of this day in those 2000 people. It was a terrorist attack on our country we didn’t know at all this was going to happen. For the people that lost their parents or any loved ones, I am truly sorry. Hearing all this stuff is already super hard for me, but
ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been
Nearly everyone in America remembers this day and the significance that it had in their life. Just the mention of September 11th (9/11) is enough to instill certain feelings in Americans. Those old enough to have lived through that day almost certainly can remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news on September 11th 2001. The terrible images playing on the televised news reports for days and weeks and the images of the attacks are burned in all of our minds.
September 11, 2001, the start of terrorism in The United States, and the end of innocence in our lives. Some of us are lucky to never know the fright of that horrid day. For others though, the events that transpired on September 11 will live on forever in their memory.
While 9/11 was a very important moment in the lives of many Americans, not many realize the direct impact this tragedy has had on their lives, and their country. For one, 9/11 greatly changed America’s involvement in wars. It also completely changed the way airport security works in America. Finally, 9/11 caused the American government to begin collecting significantly more data from its citizens, something which has been quite unpopular with the American populace. No matter how you look at it, 9/11 has left a permanent mark on America.
9/11 was a very tragic seen because over 8,000 people died on september 11, 2001. It was a tragic day for america, some people were lead to believe that George w. bush did it but no one knows for sutan.
9.11.01 was a horrifying day for the people of America, as well as many others from across the globe. It has been 14 years since that day and people will still be remembering this day forever. People will never forget 9.11, where two planes that were hijacked by Islamic people sent by Osama Bin Laden and flown into the twin towers, and another plane that had hit the pentagon. I think of this day as the saddest day that America had ever had.
When 9/11 happened I had no clue what was going on all can remember was all these people getting amazed I really did not find out what really did happened un till I was like 6 or 7 and watched the actual videos it was really sad and crazy how people can actually get on plain whit the intentions of killing thousands of people just hearless.whart happened afterwards was people in shock which later turned to paranoia andacuusating the Muslim community. The American government and the American people were just devietatiiong seeing what was happening in American that day that event was all over the world.
September 11, 2001 was a very horrible day. The twin towers was hit by 2 planes. The 2 planes hit the sides , middle of the buildings. When the planes hit , their was people inside working. The planes hit like mid way through the building. The people was struck at the top of the building but the people who was below escaped. Some people was hurt or killed because of the planes and the buildings. Some thoughts of 9/11 still plays through people heads from time to time.
9/11 plays a big role in American history. It commemorates a date for those affected by this traumatic event. Many can still remember the day, just as if it was yesterday – what they were doing and where they were. The vast majority of our sophomore class had not even been born, or old enough to recall this event. This date in American history unified us as a country.
Throughout the years there are events that stay with you, and the date September 11, 2001 is one of them. The plane hijackings, attack on the Twin Towers, and plane crashes that took place on 9/11 were tragic. Though being born that year and not being able to witness the event, I feel as though it changed me in some way. This action of terrorism effected the U.S. in many ways, that would help prevent terrorism in the long run. Which would give the new generation ideas to help prevent terrorism. Despite the years that have gone by, 9/11 will always be a travesty that will be remembered.
When 9/11/2001 occurred I was sitting in the lunch room at Good Year Elementary School in Brunswick Georgia eating lunch. My classmates and I was talking normally like we always did until one of the lunch monitors told us to be quiet. I didn’t know exactly what was going on at the time. I just knew something serious had just happened. One of my teachers told the class that a plane had hit the Twin Towers. The teachers then turn on the television as all of us watch not exactly understanding what had happen or what the cause of it was. I remember some of the teacher crying while others got on their cells phones trying to contract their families in New York City, but the lines was so busy. That whole day I remember just sitting in class watching
“The planes were hijacked, the buildings fell, and thousands of lives were lost nearly a thousand miles from here. But the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were an attack on the heart of America” (Newman). For every cause there is an effect, and unfortunately the effects of 9/11 are disturbing. I like to say that everything happens for a reason, and the reasons of 9/11 still continue to puzzle the people today. The attacks on world trade center and pentagon on September 11 2001 were tragic and devastating not only for the victims, but all the people of United States of America. The tragic losses will forever haunt the mind of who ever lived to witness this heartbreaking event. On the Tuesday morning of September 11th,
I was turning three years old when everyone’s lives changed. I can’t imagine a day where one event causes an entire country fall silent and pay attention. The knowledge I have gained of the acts on September eleventh have been in history classes, “where I was when it happened” stories, and documentaries I have watched. I will never know the exact fear that was felt that day but I can understand the current events that have happened and are happening today.
9/11 is one of the first memories many of us have. The panic. The terror. How the country recoiled and reformed in response to the terrorist attack that was unwarrented. Everything has changed since that day. Things such as airport security, government, and anti-Islamic violence.
Do you ever have one of those moments in your life in which you will never forget where you were? I remember waking up early on September 11, 2001, getting ready for school and my dad telling me hurry up to watch the news with him. Being in 8th grade at the time, the news really wasn’t something I would watch in the mornings so I knew it had to be something important. Then I saw it. An airplane crashing into a tower, people panicking, and mayhem ensuing in a city very well known to me. When any tragic event like 9/11 occurs, the effect it will have on a nation is tremendous. It left America in shock, anger, and sadness just to name a few adjectives to describe the insurmountable amount of feelings that we felt on that day.
