Welcome to my biography of pericles all the places I got my information from will be on the last page somewhere.this sounds boring but there's a first time for everything.im writing this late but the first two things i thought when i heard about this assignment. In one of these shows he would find his new wife and his wife would later give him two sons. Not every story ends in a happily ever after, it usually ends with a bit of both barley ever ends a happy life, a bad life is rare too. This story ends badly not in the middle like most. This story is about the history of a man named Pericles. He was the general and basically the king of Athens A role he would hold till he died later on in the war, but not by the Spartans but a disease in the end he and the Athens golden age were destroyed along with pericles But he went down in history as a hero or a monster to some, but usually people don’t care all too much about the past of Athens and others. But people like historians, archaeologist, and people who study culture. Athens Golden age, died when Pericles died. You have to wonder what is like in this so called “GOLDEN AGE” of Athens led by Pericles and his army. Pericles would have been a popular king if he were alive to finish the war with his intelligence and battle strategies. Pericles led a riot against the democracy that led to them being banished and Pericles taking the seat after his friend died by an assassination he became the head of the democracy, which led to the golden age in Athens. Pericles couldn’t marry Aspasia because courtesan, but she was most likely a hetaira meaning she could have kids with him, but couldn't marry him she had to stay as a companion huraira's were more educated than normal women they were taught history, philosophy ,politics ,art and, literature. Pericles divorced his first wife the one who gave him two children and left to live with aspasia and they lived as if they were married but later on she had pericles the younger his illegitimate child a year after his death. Pericles died, his and the athens golden age died along with their ruler and general pericles even if pericles the younger stepped up to be ruler and their general hey wouldn’t find their golden age again, the
