Personal Narrative: Buying A Computer

Now most people should go with the last generation of ram known as ddr3. There is nothing wrong with ddr3 compared to 4 the main different is price, sizes and energy consumption. Next we have the usb types. While type c it the newest and fastest among the types its not practical yet so the much more common 2.0 and 3.0 would be best for most. The difference between these two are speed the 3.0 will run more smoothly then the other type. Next we have your hard drive or where youre going to store all your info. There are two type hdd (this is a mechanical hard drive) or ssd (solid state drive) this comes down to what you want to spend an hdd will work great for most it will be cheaper come in larger sizes but be slower as the ssd will cost a lot come in much smaller sizes but be MUCH faster. New we need to select a mother board. This you will need to do some research on to figure out which one youll need because this is not an easy thing to explain in a broad way. One of my greatest skills and talents is working with technology and coding websites, I started coding a website on my own around the age of 12 and 13. I got into computers because of gaming. Once I started finding out how to code I wanted to build my own computer, I started gathering parts to build my own computer every since I was 13. I coded my own website on my own with no help at all fluently, It took me a month to make a simple website which made me realize that one of my talents is working with computers from the inside out. The first two weeks that I began tracking my spending had very different beginnings and endings. In "Week 1", I did not have a lot of money to spend, so I obviously used my money very sparingly; I spent most of the money on necessities. The reason that I did not have a lot of money that week is because it had almost been two weeks since I had been paid, and I had spent most of my pay check in those previous weeks. So, I ended that week with less than six dollars and pretty much nothing to put into savings. One of my most memorable moments was when I joined Geek Squad. Geek squad was basically a program for kids who were good with computers so they went from class to class to help teachers work out their technology problems. The club was run my old computer teacher, Ms. Carson, and the club had two sessions, one from October through February and another session from February to June. The session I joined was from February through June. At that time, there was only eight kids and in the other session it was much larger. All we did was connect all the laptops to the school network, yet I still have fond memories on what I did back then.

My ultimate goal for this year’s 10th grade project was to improve my technological literacy. The initial project was to learn how to create an iOS app in Xcode using Swift 4 as the programming language. I created a simplistic “homework app” designed to notify a student about missing and upcoming assignments as well as tests and quizzes. A simulator was created for the app in Xcode and ran it successfully on my computer. Additionally, I wanted the app to include other features i.e., adding classes, having personal reminders, and notifications. Creating additional features and push notifications created errors. I am a tiger, lion, and panther fanatic, but unable to actually own one. Therefore, I adore dogs for the protecting and guarding. When marketing introduced the official ambassador for Target, Bullseye, I enjoyed seeing him pop up in cool places. A special characteristic regarding Target stores is the mascot showing up on the red carpets for interviews, albeit all in the form of dog language, photo opportunities with the stars, and walk on the runway among models. Another main reason I shop at Target is the cleaner and organized layout of the store. The employees are better dressed and shows experience handling people. When I was in 5th grade going into 6th grade I really really wanted A brand new Xbox.I wanted a new Xbox because the old Xbox began to act up while we were moving.I had no Idea why it began to act up.Maybe someone accidently wasted water on it or maybe someone stepped on it but who knows what happened.

Yep, I'm old school.. since I was a child, I bought 45s and albums. As technology improved, I bought 8-tracks, cassettes and CD's. As technology moved into streaming, I was resistant for a long time.

This year has been one to remember. Many changes have been made in both academics and athletics. Some have been wonderful! Some I’m still getting used to. The new chromebooks fall into the changes I’m still getting used to category. In the end though I got through a year of new classes, teachers, and coaches.

I am going to say that is true that women can discern when there needs to be a specific change regardless of the situation. Weeks before I found out I was going to be a mother for the first time I was adamant about upgrading my car to a SUV. The logic that I used to bring me to this conclusion was: the fact that my boyfriend is 6ft. 4in., I constantly need to drive my team to lunches and events, and my car was just too old and I wanted something larger. Then on July 4th, I found I was expecting a new baby and this outweighed all of the other logic. Now I must decide what SUV I should purchase.

Barely able to stay awake, dreaming of sleep, dreaming of running away, I sit on the couch, television on, barely audi-ble, as it fights the fan in the kitchen, the wooden rolling pin clanging on the failed bread to be fried as sweet pita, barely audible over the tablet playing YouTube videos two rooms away, barely audible over my child’s voice repeated-ly talking giddily about nonsense I do not understand. I sip on tea, the steam ripping my buds, leaving me barely able to taste, giving no pleasure, giving no warmth, no comfort from the nightmares that never stay away. I sit on the couch for fear of falling asleep, for fear of staying awake, flickering blue lights of all our devices leave me dreaming of sleep, barely able to stay
