At my teenage age I wish I had a trainer like these guys in the video, I would have become a retired heavy weight champion of the world. That didn’t happen during my time, but for these guys here in the video I am sure they will get there. Seeing their moves indicates they are serious and ready to do the damages to their adversaries. I salute you guys and keep it
What is the only thing harder than disciplining a dozen ten year olds? Disciplining them on ice! All throughout my life I’ve played sports, and no matter what sport it was, there was always one person who seemed to have it out for me…the referee. The referee is one of the most hated people in the world of sports, but is also one of the most crucial. I grew up with the mindset that the referee was the enemy. Whenever they made a call against me or my team, they were always wrong, no matter how obvious the penalty was. But one day, my whole perspective on referees changed---the day I became a referee.
“Why Kid?” said, my grandfather. I replied, “simple, not everyone can do it, that why I love it. I love the grind, I love the self-torture, and of course the leading reason I look ripped in a singlet. Wrestling is one of the most demanding sports there is. The dedication, hard work, dieting, endless practices, and the everlasting season. Don't forget sectionals, then finally state. I can't tell you how many parties that I had to turn down during the season because I didn't want to be tempted to binge eat. The countless Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner I've had to give up. I felt like a dog watching everyone eat their honey roasted turkey.
As I looked at the barbell stacked with two 45 lbs plates on both sides, I questioned my own ability, and think to myself there is no way in hell I am able to lift this without injuring myself.
Ever since I was eight years old I have been wrestling all year, every year, almost daily. I never thought that my wrestling career would extend past junior high or even into high school. I started doing pretty good at tournaments and practices so I thought I might actually make it in high school and become a successful wrestler. Before I graduated from junior high, I had decided that the high school that I was going to be attending didn't have the best wrestling program so I moved to another school nearby which had a renowned wrestling program called Washington Community High School in Illinois. It was a tough decision, but I eventually told my parents that I wanted to move to Washington in order to keep wrestling. They agreed surprisingly and that's when the journey began.
Football season just ended, meaning I had a couple weeks to recoup until my favorite season started--wrestling. Wrestling has run in the family for decades, each generation breaking a record or making it to state. With the few weeks to recoup, I picked up some extra hours at work. I clean at the local YMCA, so I don’t have much interaction with kids or anyone really, but I like it that way.
Have you ever thought “There’s no way I can do this”, but managed to be able to succeed and reach your goal? I am going to tell you the story of the hardships I endured at my first wrestling camp. Last summer, in late July, I attended a wrestling camp called “Camp of Champions” in the high foothills of Sonora. The camp was labeled an intensive camp, and that’s exactly what it was. The camp consisted of four practices a day- each lasting about two and a half hours.
Wrestling was a sport I had no interest in, and I only tried out, because my coach recommended that I’d give it a shot. I never would of thought on my seventeenth birthday that I’d be wrestling for the conference championship. Reagan Fedowitz from Union Pines was my opponent, who placed fifth in the state tournament the year before. The tournament was held at Union Pines, so majority of the crowd were fans of Reagan. A announcer calls my name to come check in at the table, and I immediately become nervous. Although I was nervous, I used this as an advantage to become motivated for the match.
I have been jumping around on things ever since I was a little kid, but now I have finally found a place to practice my abilities and to make tem greater than before. The place I go to train is called Gymja Warrior, which is a spin on the show Ninja Warrior. While the name may be a spin-off, the exercises and equipment are the same. The facility houses many
It was not until this year that I started to watch wrestling. Wrestling seemed to be more of a male fan based sport than female fan based. Boy was I wrong! January of this year I had attended my first pro wrestling event and loved it. The scenery was way different than what I had expected it to be. It was an experience that I will never forget; therefore, I need to thank my fiancé for the opportunity!
In my life experience , I believe that my favorite playing activity will be watching WWE stands for world wrestling entertainment . This is an activity that I can relate to and inspires me the most . The world of wrestling has been a life time style passion. Not every girl can relate to wrestling like I do . The world of wrestling is an amazing activity of play. Every time I watch wrestling is something new I get to interaction with my dad. My dad and I don't get a lot of time together , unless it comes to wrestling . I believe that wrestling has made my dad and I bound stronger and this is a play activity that unites us as a family . Bup, bup (inhale) (exhale) bup, bup. Nervous, scared, pumped, excited so many bottled up emotion. The fans cheering for their special wrestler for most of the fans were moms, dads, siblings, grandparents. For today was the day that all the hard work, training and wrestling torments comes down to this states, NCAA state championship. Today In a way was the Olympics for all the wrestlers each weight class only one will be choicen as king and since that year was my first and last year of wrestling I was determined to be king but nothing was gonna prepare me for what awaited me on the mat.
I come from a long line of craftsman’s and only being 31 years of age, I have been really fortunate to stay working and not just working with one job either. Various trades, customizing, production, back braking, you name it I have done. My name is Stephen Sanders II and at 16 years old I practically begged my father to show me the ways of building a custom set of stairs, trim, put crown molding up and base down. Needless to say that my father owned his own custom trim carpentry business. My father had and still has a reputation producing high quality, forever lasting works-of-art. No house was the same but the guarantee was. Now I was part of the pack.
It started during sophomore year of high school. It was the first day of school all i could think about was what teachers and students would presume of me. I sauntered to my first class it wasn’t as bad as i interpreted it would be, had many friends/ acquaintances for each class, but there was one particular class that I disliked. Majority of students would say math, science, or English was their worst subject , not for me. Out of all the subjects i despise gym, ironically enough i would start working out at the gym later on. Gym was not my main priority, my teachers knew that. I wouldn't do as instructed , i would frequently find a easier way to finish the workout. At the end of the day i just didnt care , until one day when it came time

My freshman year on the junior varsity football team I was not a great athlete; I wasn’t fast or strong and generally didn’t know much about the sport, and as a result, I didn’t get a lot of playing time. About half way through the season I became significantly better at playing football and earned a starting position. Then, during practice one day, I unfortunately broke my left fibula, and had to watch the rest of the season on the sideline. This injury set me back pretty far and made it difficult to train in the offseason to prepare for the upcoming season. I had constant thoughts about quitting and focusing all the free time i would have as a result on my school work, but eventually I decided I would stick it out and hope for the best.
