Just Drive An elephant sitting on you… You may have asked why I started with that saying but just imagine an elephant sitting on you it would probably be heavy right? Well that’s how felt on cold morning knowing what I had to do and if I don’t do it right the first time five more elephants would have been sitting on me. I always wanted to drive because it looked fun so my fifteen-year-old self-decided to take measures in my own hands if I wanted to be in the driver’s seat, and that what I did. I searched for good drivers-ed places and I finally did find one after a few clicks here and reading some reviews, Seattle 911. As I was on their website I saw their prices and man was that a jaw dropping moment the prices were like donating a leg
I hate driving. I have some trepidation about using that word but hate is due where it’s due. And I hate driving. It might have something to do with the fact that no matter how good a driver I am, my safety is still in the hands of some over-confident twenty-something who is texting, eating, and driving simultaneously. Or maybe it’s the environmentally driven guilt I have while pumping gas. Either way, I just really don’t like driving. But, it was driving that made me realize I felt like an ant. I was in the left turn lane on my way home from a hot afternoon of summer band. The little green traffic arrow lit up and, much like ants following the instruction of a pheromone, we swung our metallic bodies in the instructed direction of travel and
I approached the vehicle and asked MD why she was driving without someone 21 years of age in the vehicle and she informed me that she just wanted to hang out with friends and watch the fireworks. I asked MD if anyone in the vehicle had consumed alcohol and she told me no.
It was a brisk foggy afternoon that was soon to turn to night. John had just waved by to all his friends at the party. It was a thirty minute drive home down some back roads in the country. Five minutes down the road it got dark and foggy, John was trying to get home as fast as he could safely. He was surrounded by open fields and corn fields on all sides. Then before he knew it his truck started to stall for an unexplainable reason. John immediately started to panic but tried to stay calm the best that he could. His truck came to a complete stop and there he was on a back road in the middle of nowhere. The only thing that he could see in front of him was a mailbox with a long drive with cornfields on both sides. John had no other option in the world
Thanks for researching the car for me. I did not think it would be much, but I was hoping it would be worth $3,000. My parents told Cora she could have the car and if they sold the farm for a good price they would have it restored enough to drive. The farm has not sold, and my parents and then my mother has given her enough money already the past two or three years. Not to air out my family problems but you are probably used to that by now. I am sure I have given you the information you could have done without knowing. My daughter fell in love with a lazy jerk about two years ago. She quit her job and moved in with him and his mother an hour and a half south of us to a small town that is in the middle of nowhere. The closest town has two colleges,
I got my dog almost one year ago. We got him on november second 2014. Me and my sister had begged our parents to get us a dog but they kept saying no. THe day that we ended up getting him my parents just said that we were going camping. They said we were going camping in a cabin a few miles from Bend Oregon.
There was always that one dream, a dream you wondered hours about when it would become true, one thought of you accomplishing it would make twinges of excitement flow through your body. Ever since my dad got me Need for Speed on my Xbox 360 for my 8th birthday, I have wanted to drive a real car. As a child, I would always yell at my dad to go faster. At that point of my life, everything was an ongoing race and thus, speed was the key. I had always begged my dad to let me steer the car but as always, I had gotten a disappointing answer. Finally, it was all a dream, turning 18, and getting a driver's license. How cool was it to drive your own car and go wherever you want? It was a whole new level of freedom and finally, after 18 years of dreaming
Finally I can learn how driving, been waiting to do this, good thing it’s the summer got learn how drive before school start. It shouldn't be that hard right? My dad told me it just like driving a go cart, so it should be cake. The only thing I'm worry about is getting on the highway, all the cars going fast just scared me. I'm going tell you my story about me learning how to drive for the first time.
I never had a desire to have a car since I always had friends who were able to pick me up. I also had my mother who loved me and would take me to the movies, mall, and restaurants so I could hang out with my friends. As I got older, I started to notice that I was in need of a car; I didn’t want to ask for rides anymore or ask my mom too take me to places. Little by little the access of me having friends to take me places was diminishing, and my mom was coming home from work extremely tired. It was time for me to step up and have more responsibilities and stop depending on others. At last, my time came to get my first ever car.
It was a summer day after supper, me and my brother were playing outside in the backyard, he was driving the four wheeler and I was on the trampoline. Once I was done and I started walking to the house he pulled up next to me and said “I’m going inside, do you want to try driving the four wheeler?”. “I don’t know how to drive a four wheeler.” I thought to myself, but I still said sure. Once I was on I gunned it like an idiot. Still I pressed down on the gas, not able to let go out of pure shock and fear. It was only right before a hill did I manage to let go. I fell off the back of the four wheeler onto the ground, that hurt but for some reason more than the four wheeler rolling over me. After I fell off and the four wheeler rolled over me it rolled back and stopped on top of me with me in
It all started on Diamond Hill Rd it was a cold and dark night, my brother and I was riding our bikes. Since I had just learned to ride my bike, my parents did not want me to ride on the road. The street he drove on had cars that would ride through there all the time. My brother and I were riding down the road with our neighbors on our bike when a dark blue suv started backing up, and I was ahead of everyone because they kept on stopping to talk to each other, so I slammed right into the car and flew far.
On the road again for the third time in a month. In the middle of the hottest month, we were in a car. Only eight hours away from Tennessee we got pulled over by not just one cop but three cops for speeding. We sat there for at least two hours. Since we were from Franklinton, Louisiana it took a very long time.
The ability to drive to me means, that you are capable of following the state driving rules. Almost anyone could drive a car, even a 10 year old. However, safety is another important part of the ability to drive. Therefore, if a person is not safe on the road, then they should not be driving such as, a 10 year old. Each person should also have the skills in which they can operate a car safely. Good vision, the ability to concentrate and reflexes are some important things to have to operate a vehicle safely. I think there are many things which can affect a person’s driving such as, alcohol, drugs, tiredness, cell phones, eyesight and sometimes age. These factors can be very dangerous when combined with driving. They can cause slower reaction times, sleepiness, poor
The best thing to do before you get in a car is make sure you wear your seatbelt! If I would of had mine on my head probably wouldn’t of went in the windshield. I was just happy that it wasn’t as worse as I thought it was gonna be. This accident will be one that I will never forget during my lifetime. They always say some things always happen for a reason so we’ll never know why.
Well, driving a car is a fun and an easy task for most of the people, but for me it is a very challenging and difficult task. I say that, because I was so excited to drive a car, but it is just a fact of life, that things don't always work out as planned. I passed the permit test, and the next day I went outside with my brother to start driving. Imagine with me, the first time you move the steering wheel, step on the gas and brake pedals. Not even a five minutes passed, I confused which pedals I have to hit to stop the car, instead of hitting the brake pedal, I stepped on the gas pedal very hardly end up me with a minor car crash. The praise of God, nothing happened to me or to my brother; just I got a ticket and the front light bulbs of
The roads were icy. I stared out of the car window as my mother drove me to the DMV. I was blinded by the glistening, white snow that formed a blanket over the quickly passing horizon. Once we arrived, someone came over right away to administer my test. I was asked a few questions about my car and how it worked. I was able to produce the answers with ease. The driving portion was brief. I was behind the wheel for a maximum of ten minutes. I passed the test. In that moment, I was overcome with a feeling of relief. I thought I was invincible; freedom was finally mine. (1)
