On the road again for the third time in a month. In the middle of the hottest month, we were in a car. Only eight hours away from Tennessee we got pulled over by not just one cop but three cops for speeding. We sat there for at least two hours. Since we were from Franklinton, Louisiana it took a very long time. So, we finally got to leave the side of the road. We sat there so long it got extremely hot. So we all decide to go swimming. So as all eighteen of us went swimming we all started laughing for some odd reason. Little did we know that the pool was filled with some crazy stuff, it took all but two minutes to figure out what it was, and it was some type of chemical that made you laugh hysterically! Later that week we went to Dollywood
Tears where pouring down my face. Than the asked me what was in my backpack. I didn't know what to say, because I didn't even know what was really in that backpack. I told the police what Tony told me, just a little bit of Marijuana. The police open it in front of me, what they found was much worse them a little bit of pot. The backpack was a backpack full of hard drugs.
When I was at school the other day, my band instructor told me, “You are one of the hardest workers I have ever seen, why do you work so tirelessly if you know that you might fail? I was quite surprised because she has been teaching for 33 years. I responded with your book, Almost Home.
On September 08, 2015 at approximately 9:29 PM I, Deputy Bowring, was dispatched to shots fired and the subjects were in a black in color, Nissan pickup, heading north bound on Farm to Market 288 toward State Highway 154.
Throughout the active school year, I take part in cross country, track and basketball. I also played volleyball for a year, but I decided to concentrate on my main passion, cross country, instead of dividing my time and attention into two sports at the same time. I have been running cross country ever since I was old enough to run in the munchkin races. The sport has been passed down through the family, almost every single one of my siblings have run or at least tried it. In track, I have ran the mile and two mile since the seventh grade. These last couple years I joined into the long distance relays. In 2016, the first year we decided to start a relay it consisted of my sister, Victoria, Tristen Ness, and Sammy Swanson. The first time we ran
Last year I started a new sport, cross country. I only did it because my lacrosse coach said that it might help me get better for lacrosse. So I went to the first late summer practice last year to see what this was like, so then we did warm-ups and a lap around the track. Then it was the first time I met coach Chase, My first impression of him was going to be very strict, But soon realized that this was false because of one of the first things he said. He said “I know there are a lot of nerves here right now, but cross country isn’t about winning every race, that comes later” then continued with “Cross country is about showing what you can do to yourself.” This struck me very hard because I was not that fast and was near the back. Through that fall the team did very well, I also made some progress myself. After the season was over I made a decision.
It was October 2016 of my junior year, right in the heart of the Cross Country season. Cross Country was fun and team was doing great, but I was looking forward to the upcoming winter track season. High jump is where it is at and that is where I wanted to be and then it happened… I went down and my ankle was caught underneath me and twisted. I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but I was hurt. I was on the ground, in pain as other racers passed me. I was able to get to the finish it wasn’t pretty, it wasn’t fast, but I did it.
At approximately 2300 hours I heard a loud crash somewhere outside of my apartment building. I went out on the patio, looked around outside and saw a car stopped by the east entrance gate. I went outside to the gates and saw a black SUV stopped in the driveway, just inside the entrance gate. The car had a flat right front tire and damage to the right front quarter panel. I then looked at the entrance gate and saw the gate had been broken off its hinges and stuck in the open position. The reflective cross bar was stuck in the down position.
At a young age, I moved from the country I was born in (Dominican Republic) to Miami Florida. Moving is not an easy thing to do, I had to leave all of my friends and family behind and become familiarized with uncertain place. I was surrounded by the unknown, everything was strange and so different to what I was usually use to. At the time I could not speak any English at all but that eventually did not matter to me, I slowly started adapting to my new environment and I became more positive. Although I could not communicate well and had a few obstacles I was very organized with my studies and kept very decent grades.
Dr. Rosenberg nodded. “Correct,” he told her, “And Halfrida or Harold was intended to be the key, something that Emily Ryan herself was not fully unaware of.”
At a very young age, I began making my own decisions and putting myself first. After my parents got divorced, my mom decided to move. The move wasn't small. In fact, it was a very large one. We were moving halfway across the world. I did not understand why we had to move but I knew my mom would always make the best decisions for our family. First, it seemed cool when I was telling everybody. But then it hit me hard, knowing that I wasn't going to see my friends and family for a very long time. At the age of eight, I did not understand what was going on. I felt like I was out of the loop. I was going to have to make new friends and meet new people even though I did not know the language. Even when it came to finding something to eat, we did not know how to order food. It was a great struggle that was hard to overcome.
The two boys walked over the weird kids’ table, where the special needs kids sat. The boys made sure that Johnny’s assistant was nowhere to be seen. “Hey, ugly, what’s up? Are you going to eat like a baby?” RePeat cooned. Johnny started to cry, and everyone in the room heard him. At that point, I decided to return to the blue, vanilla crème brulee smelling table.
While my wife and I worked as a customer service representative in a call center, we both decided to take the rest of the day off. On our drive home, we both were excited because it is rare that we both get to take off at the same time. We began to plan what to do for the rest of the afternoon. As we pulled into our driveway, my wife had pushed the garage button to open the door. She drove in and I hurriedly ran into the house. Having not noticed anything till I saw a man run out the front door of our home with the door standing wide open. I noticed that the lights were on in the house. I ran back into the garage and told Amber and our children to stay put. I reached over and grabbed a ball bat and ran back into the house. Then I ran out the front door only to see the man racing his truck down the street. Coming back into the house, I looked all through the house to make sure it was clear before allowing my wife and children inside. Once the coast was clear, we began to look around and we had many things missing and moved.
One thing that does not interest me anymore is going outside. I used to always love going outside but not anymore that is like the top uninterested thing i'm into rite now. When i was a kid i loved going outside, after i got older i only go outside on the daily-bases now that i'm more mature. When i get in trouble my parents make me go outside for my punishment. Outside is just not interested to me
In… Out… In… Out… I think to myself, trying to figure out what just happened, but at the same time trying to think about it at all.
Have you ever been on a broken elevator or gone on a roller coaster called” The Scream?” Well, when I was nine, I rode BOTH of those at Disneyland. This trip was important to me because it was one of the last vacations we took as a family before my parents got divorced.
