I first learned about Omega Psi Phi when I was a child. One of my late father’s best friends would always wear Omega apparel no matter what was going on. Since junior high, I have been considered a counselor among my friends. So when I used the _careercruiser _ website in my sophomore year English class, the field of Art Therapy caught my attention.

While being on Reveliers, I have had the opportunity to strengthen my leadership qualities. I have been an officer for three years on this team, starting as an underclassmen. I have had to learn how to be a friend and a leader to the girls on the team. Even though these are just teenage girls, having to lead such a large group has taught me to be confident and sure of myself because many people are looking up to me. I hope to use my leadership abilities in my future career
